I was greeted my Donielle, the store owner, and after determining that I (being a guy) was shopping for myself, she was very helpful. After determining that I was looking for dresses in a larger size, she came over and worked to find something in that size. She was exceptionally personable and supportive as we looked. She found a beautiful evening dress in maroon, and immediately went to the back to set up a dressing room for me. That was my first time trying on a dress at a store, but her exceptional customer service won me over. I bought the dress, and personally thanked her for her outstanding service. There was a good selection of every type of clothing, mostly in smalls and mediums. I wish I could give this store and Donielle 6 stars, but I'm limited to 5. I cannot express how appreciative I was of her customer service, especially as a transgendered person. This would be an immediate multiple return trips, but its 476 miles away. I could only hope for similar service close to where I live.

I liked the way the clothes hangers were marked with a certain color cap based on your size, so you could easily see from a glance if there was anything in your size as you perused the store. One girl working greeted us once when we walked in, without eye contact, and never said anything again. The other one came out from the back and never said anything. Although there were amazing clothes we wanted to buy, we did not want to purchase anything because the customer service was so poor. This place has great potential but the employees need to do better.

I understand it's a small business, and the woman was understanding when she immediately declined the sale when that price came up but that's a lot for two bracelets. The Kayak Experience is a great place for local, hands-on information, equipment and motivation. The staff here are friendly, knowledgeable and love meeting people who enjoying kayaking. They carry some really nice boats (my favorites being Ocean and Wilderness Systems), paddles, PFD's (Personal Flotation Devices), racks, and, very importantly, accessories. Sure, your boat, paddle and PFD is pretty tough, but straps, springs, leashes and pins tend to bend or break after you put in the miles, and this is the place to get it. If they don't have it (and I have yet to stump them), they'll order it. When the weather is nice, they have demonstrations every Saturday so you can try a boat or two if you're thinking of getting into kayaks. This is a good business, and kayaking is a great hobby.
