Sadly the place hasn't gotten any better since I last came here. They remodeled the whole store and made men's thing harder to find and I came for sunglasses and stood at the counter for 20 minutes and kept asking for help using their QR code thing they have on the counter and no one came. Nice store with two levels. I found a couple of tops that I liked but I'm not a fan of Kohl's. I usually do not find many clothes styles that I like. My husband was looking for some clothing but didn't find what he was looking for. He has a charge card as we have a store back in WI in our area. My sister and brother in law who are from out of country visit the store looking for luggage but did not find what they were looking for. Check out was friendly and we had to make an exchange which was easy. There isn't much for shopping clothing in the Ft Walton Beach area since the Mall in Mary Esther closed so we usually head to Destin. read more

So the service of the worker was terrible so she rung us up and the total came out to $39.49 and then asked us if we lived in the area such as locals and we said yes we lived in the area and then after we said our response,she rose the price up to $59 because supposedly the candle that was priced at $25 but was actually $11 and then we confronted her about it and then she acted like the victim and not to be rude or racist or anything, but she was Indian. After trying to make a purchase on the khols website and app, I kept getting error messages. I tried on another phone and 2 computers and it still did not work. I called the Khols Fort Walton Beach location to inquire about it and the man who answered the phone was only willing to redirect me to call the online directory. He didn't care about looking into it himself so that other customers wouldn't have to be inconvenienced like I was. While I understand online is separate from the store, he very obviously didn't care if it was an inconvenience to me or other customers. If the online option to pick up at the store wasn't working then it meant he didn't have to work to get things the customers purchased and take it out to them. All he cared about was doing as little as possible. When I went to the store to purchase the items I wanted it was ridiculous! At first glance things look nice but there is no organization by brand or size, items are half off of hangers, scattered on the floor, mismatched, etc. When I told the cashier she said "oh so you're the one who called to complain about the website?" I said I was and asked if anyone had called to see what the problem with the online site was. Nope! They'd had enough time to gossip about my having called them but didn't take the time to call to find out what the problem was. When she called the manager over to tell her about the problem I told the manager that my biggest complaint was that I hated having to shop there because you can't ever find what you're looking for. I told her what I had purchased and she said "well it's because it's upstairs and no one really goes in that area very often." Ummm hello?!?! If no one shops that area of the store very often then it shouldn't be as unorganized as it has been ever since they opened several years ago! Not to mention the employees should still at least halfway attempt to organize things. In all the years I've shopped there that area has NEVER been organized so this is not a result of them being low staffed, etc. The manager continued to make one ridiculous excuse after another...that is what led me to leave this review. That area of the store has always been a wreck and I've never left a review, but when the customer service from employees and management are as poor as what it was tonight it's worthy of warning other customers not to expect much. She talked about how they were understaffed, etc...there was only 1 other customer there the entire time I was there and the only employee who was actively doing anything was at the register. So they didn't take the time to call the online site to discuss the problems, the part of the store I shopped in was a disgrace, and her excuse was because they were understaffed? Well the other employees certainly were having fun gossiping about a man who had purchased a tv there earlier, laughing about him and making jokes about wondering if he was going to steal something or not...so they obviously have plenty of time to sit around talking and laughing but they're too understaffed to organize things or make a simple phone call to their website??? if you are looking for a job where you can get paid to sit around and do nothing, based on what I've seen over the past few years, khols in Fort Walton Beach is certainly the place to fill out an application! read more

Haven been here to pick up a few clothing items. Clothing has always been clean and stocked well when I have been here. I can't drive but I love Kohl's. So Kohl's online should have been wonderful for all my holiday shopping needs. Three packages from Kohl's and all of them had clothing with shopping tags still attached which means I had to have three trips to my local Kohl's to remove tags. This made my holiday shopping so hard. I can't get around well due to a current health issue, I can't drive. I've had to unconvinced people to take me the 30 miles to Kohl's due to a known problem that they are not addressing. Next year if I'm in the same place medically it will all be amazon so that my orders don't need to be returned. read more

It's 0805 and folks are lined up outside...come on people...open the doors...it's now 0806, FINALLY...someone has decided to open the doors to let those of us who were patiently waiting in. Question for management...would you discipline a worker for showing up late? Hmmm...this morning you thought your meeting was more important than opening the store on time...could have cost Kohls a buck and every buck counts in the business industry. I'm still giving Kohls 5 stars because I like Kohls...not too pleased with the delayed opening especially when I could see a meeting (with appropriately 15 employees) taking place near the front registers. read more
