There were three employees standing in a circle right behind us in the middle of the store leaning on the clothing racks and having what must have been a very deep conversation b/c not one of them asked us if we needed help finding anything. We waited patiently for at least five minutes. The purchase was very close to $600 and when I asked if I could return it, I was told that it could be returned, except for the insole shoe pads. That seemed reasonable so I completed my purchase. After nearly 30 days, I did not get anywhere close to the relief I wanted. I went to the store today (6-18-26) and was told they are not refundable and since I didn't buy the top of the line package there was no adjustment. I was told that since it is classified as a medical device no refund is possible. This was never mentioned during the sale process. I can trade it in on the full package as a credit against $1600, but why would anyone do that when you got minimum relief from the beginning. I have found that the Dr. School's insoles work just as well for 1/10th the price of The Good Feet Store. The receipt says that you have 30 days to make the adjustment, but in no way is that a refund. I am out close to $600.00. Just a warning to be 100% sure TGF Store arch supports will work 100% for you! They are not returnable. What a scam!!!!!!

An older woman with salt-and-pepper hair (around 5 feet tall) followed me around the entire store as if she believed I was going to shoplift. Not discreetly. Not casually. She stayed close, aisle to aisle, watching me the whole time while other customers shopped freely without being trailed. Let me be very clear: I was wearing leggings, a sweatshirt, and a denim jacket. My purse was barely large enough to hold my iPhone, let alone conceal clothing. We were in town for the holidays in Seaside and stopped in because the weather was far colder than expected we genuinely needed warmer gear. There was absolutely no reason for this level of scrutiny. The message was loud and clear: I was being singled out. It was humiliating, unnecessary, and deeply unacceptable. I regret not returning my items on the spot, but like many people in situations like this, I worried about "making a scene." That internal hesitation the pressure to stay quiet while being treated unfairly is exactly what makes this kind of behavior so damaging. This wasn't about loss prevention. It was about poor judgment and profiling, and it created a hostile customer experience. North Face markets itself as an inclusive, values-driven brand. This store did not reflect those values at all! Management needs to address this behavior immediately. No customer should feel surveilled, targeted, or uncomfortable simply for walking into a store to shop. Well back October 14 I ordered the rockaway shoes from the Destin Store with…read moretheir store manager Kaye, I told her I needed them fast because I was going on a trip, I paid for 2 day shipping but my shoes didn't arrive, so a week and half went by and kept waiting for my shoes, nothing happened so I called customer service, the woman on the phone was NO HELP AT ALL, she told me there was nothing she could do and I had to call the store, so I did, I called and to my luck Kaye was the one on the phone, I told her the story, she was super nice and apologetic about it, she asked for 30 minutes for her to make some phone calls and look around other stores to see what was going on with my shoes, 30 went by and she was calling me back with the greatest news, my shoes were on hold because a mistake from the shipping company and sadly they were unavailable BUT awesome Kaye came to my rescue and she found them in a store in Texas and they were coming my way, that was Wednesday October 26 at noon, same Wednesday at 2:00 pm I got a call from the manager at the store in Texas, I think it was in Houston im not sure, wish I could remember her name to give her credit too, she was awesome and she was calling me to confirm that my shoes were on their way to me and right now is Friday October 28th, my shoes arrived 30 minutes ago, they are perfect, exactly what I wanted and I beyond happy and Grateful to Kaye and the other sister manager from Texas, every store in this country should have managers that care and go above and beyond for their customers and that are also super nice and kind. I selected 2 pairs of shoes for my son and was ready to check out when I noticed white wedges. I tried one shoe and asked associate to them me the other shoe; she got the shoe I was trying on and went to storage room to get the other shoe. When she came back she informed me that those shoes are no longer available and other associate is saving it for her friend... I am a customer here now and willing to buy it now, since I've been trying them on... she started arguing with me. When I said that it's unprofessional and I will complain she said she doesn't care and good luck with that. They all were laughing making me uncomfortable and humiliated!
