On to Big Curve Fitness. Lots of clean, well maintained equipment. The members are mostly Marines, because it's owned by a Marine. People are courteous, but keep to themselves. They maintain great gym etiquette. They are open 24 hours also. Great music is playing. I feel I am getting healthier because the environment is healthy and motivating.

When I moved to Yuma a few months ago, my first task was to find a gym I could sign with. Big Curve…read morecaught my eye because of its proximity to my apartment, but also because it was family and veteran-owned and operated. On my first visit, I was offered a tour of the 10,000+ square-foot space and introduced to the staff. I liked the gym immediately as it had everything I could ever want: cardio equipment, strength equipment, free weights, a deadlift mat, core training, resistance bands, you name it! Being that my fiancée and I work in healthcare, the staff discounted our monthly rate. There were no gimmicks like sign-on fees, annual fees, or any of that nonsense. The monthly payments began, and so did my gym patronage. This gym is available 24/7. Members are given scan-cards that unlock the side entrance (next to Las Palapas). It takes some getting used to, and you might find yourself standing awkwardly outside from time to time trying to open the door, but you get the hang of it. The main room contains all the cardio equipment plus a lounge area to relax. If you're lucky, the owners' dog, Teddy, might come up to say hello to you. In the adjoining weight room, you will find all the strength equipment you need, from dumbells to barbells, hex bars to pull-up bars, dip stations to squat racks, and so forth. There's plenty of space, and they provide sanitation stations to keep the equipment clean. There are no locker rooms (this used to be a furniture warehouse), but there are two bathrooms and a filtered water station. I have had the pleasure of working out at Big Curve since November. It's nice getting to see the same people every day, sharing the equipment, and crushing PRs. I couldn't have asked for a better gym community since moving out here. So, if you're new to the area and looking to patronize a small business, look no further than Big Curve Fitness. You won't find a better place in Yuma to work out!

I was about 1 year postpartum in May of 2025 when I decided it was time to get back into the gym. Little did I know that lower back pain would prevent me from doing basic exercises including holding a plank (10 seconds max). I met Diamond for orientation and gave her the grocery list of things I wanted. 1. No more lower bank pain. 2. Be as strong as I can possibly be. 3. Quick on my feet (if you have a toddler, you know what I mean) 4. Maybe start to feel like myself again, maybe. Welp, so far we've achieved every single thing on this list. No more lower back pain because she knows how to build your CORE (not just abs, I swear). As strong as I can be. I can deadlift 225 so I think we are on the right track I can officially react pretty quickly to whatever my toddler throws at me (literally and figuratively). And finally, yeah, I feel like the best version of myself as a me individually as well as a wife and mom. If ya'll are looking for a trainer who is willing to go through the ups and downs with you, Diamond Rivera is your girl. Mamas, if you need someone in your corner to help you get back in your feet, I highly recommend Diamond Rivera. She helps you fill up your workout and nutrition toolbox while teaching you what habits can build the routine that works for you. Thanks 24/7 for the awesome service! Thanks Diamond for being the person I really needed in my corner for this postpartum season.

You need to step I your game. We canceled and then we were told we had to cancel 30 days in advance. Still have not received any disclosures or information. Went to Planet Fitness across the freeway. Completely different and they act like they are happy we are there. I have a bikini model friend that is switching also. DO NOT go to 24/7 Fitness unless you want to feel helpless and ignored. The tanning is a joke 10 bulbs are burnt out . But no one cares. They just want your money!

We all know cleanliness is a serious issue due to fungus, bacteria and germs in the women's bathroom which I've mentioned to the staff several times, especially regarding the showers. There was a Band-Aid in the first shower on the left on the pull out seat for over six weeks. It was very obvious to see it which means No one was cleaned that shower for six weeks!!! There were some long black hairs in the other shower, which I slid underneath the mat just to see if anyone pulled it up to clean I went back several times in two weeks and the hairs are still under the shower mat which means no one's cleaned it for over two weeks!! I've mentioned these to the staff and the manager, and nothing has been done yet except to inform me that I'm no longer welcome there since I was dissatisfied with the cleanliness of the bathrooms.

Owner Amandelyn Taylor has…read morecreated a space so inviting that I ended up going to three of the class offerings in one day. I'm in Yuma, exploring its offering to those of us here for dental care across the border in Los Algodones. The classes I tried were: Yin Yoga, Tai Chi. After the Tai Chi Class I hopped into an Arial Sound Bath Experience. I'm a small, older person in my 70's with zero previous experience with arial classes. In addition, my mouth has been poked at, prodded, and gouged for the better part of a week and swinging around in a hammock might cause less adventurous souls to skip it. But after meeting with and chatting with the charming proprietess, I knew I'd be in good hands at the least, and at the most I'd learn something new. WELL! After a quick Ai search, I read that: An aerial yoga hammock is a soft, durable nylon fabric sling suspended from one or two ceiling points, designed for anti-gravity yoga, fitness, and acrobatics. It aids in deep stretching, spinal decompression, and strength building by supporting body weight, making inversions accessible to all levels. That's my only ding in this review: I wish there were more details in the class description on the otherwise perfect website. Speaking of websites, this one makes booking classes easy. I noticed a lot of other elder-folks in my other classes and it was wonderful to be in that inclusive atmosphere. I think my teacher for the Yin Class was Carolina. She is a bi-lingual teacher and I learned that most, if not all of Amandalyn's teaching staff all speak Spanish. A great studio. Try something new. And go for it, in a magical environment where the class will leave you buzzing with good vibes all day long!
