They have classes for beginning ballet, advance, pre pointe, pointe, and contemporary. There is also a sibling discount. In addition to ballet classes, they also have Barre fitness classes and High Fitness classes. As a customer, I'm reviewing the fitness classes. I love the Barre and High fitness classes. The reason I love the Barre fitness classes is because it is ballet based and not "fitness" based. I've previously taken a Barre fitness class elsewhere and it was more about strength training at the bar and not necessarily based on ballet. This studio is about ballet and using that as the basis for the Barre fitness classes. They are generally low impact, but very effective ballet techniques used to strength train. The studio only just recently added the High fitness classes, which is a good cardio class that uses repetitive, easier to follow dance moves to get your heart rate going. Both types of fitness classes are 45 mins long. You can attend as many fitness classes for a $30 monthly membership fee. The studio is run by 2 sisters, Deidre and Danielle, who have extensive ballet training and with Deidre also training professionally with Ballet Magnificat. Danielle is a personal trainer. Both do the Barre classes. Danya is the new gal doing the High fitness classes. I love how these ladies run their classes, so that's why I wanted to get their studio up on Yelp because I really want to see their studio grow. Little worried with the 114 degree weather heat outside, but the heat was just perfect. I don't think they have a heating system, and the building stays pretty naturally cool. They open the back door and put in a couple space heaters. I built up some sweat but wasn't drenched like I normally am. I took two classes with Maddy, one hot and one simply called Yoga. She was great, challenging at times but also a nice smooth flow. They have extra towels and mats for use, no charge!!! I'd be a regular customer if I lived in the area.

Upside: The studio is large and looks newly renovated. Mirrored front wall, hardwood floors, Mediterranean style paintings that accent the walls. Classes are never crowded. No reservation needed. Downside: Limited classes throughout the week. Very limited options for intermediate /advanced yogis. The one and only Ashtanga class on Sunday is just ok. The intermediate class was disappointing. Maybe it was a language barrier thing that was frustrating for me. Overall, the skill level of the classes are subpar in my opinion. I also don't care much for their music options. If background music is going to be used I would assume something Zen not 80's tunes. I expected more for $12/class.

The therapists are very respectful, personable and professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about muscle tension, body mechanics, chakras, spiritual and cognitive therapies. She made me feel comfortable right away. I left feeling relaxed, refreshed, balanced, and so much better.

Since the historic little downtown home (right behind Mr G's) boasts many other services, alongside massage, I wanted to check it out. I love that you can book appointments online on their website, sometimes even next day appointments. The massage room is a great space with historic large ceilings, candles, it is quiet, professional and very relaxing. You can also add on a bunch of other services to your massage - scents, cupping, hot stone, etc etc. but I think my favorite part is Becky's pressure and technique. I go in for deep tissue massage because it seems like I'm always sore in my shoulders and lower back and she really pinpoints those areas with special methods of relaxing and loosening the muscles. Make sure you fill up those summer appointments when you can to keep this great space going!

I called the Crunch Fitness location in Yuma to inquire about canceling my membership over the phone. I was initially instructed to email a specific address (something like gm@[crunch email]) with a picture of my out-of-state driver's license. Since I had misplaced the original email, I called back and was given a different one: info@crunchyuma.com. ​On October 1st, I sent my cancellation email to the second address as instructed. In mid-November, I began receiving multiple calls, texts, and emails from Crunch Fitness' billing department, stating my account was past due for November. I immediately called the Yuma gym location. This time, I was told their official policy is to cancel only in person or by sending a letter via certified mail, a stark contradiction to the instructions I was given twice before. The gym representative apologized and told me to mail a printed screenshot of my original October email showing the date of my request. He assured me they would then "take care of the cancellation and the accumulated fees," since I was originally misguided. I sent the required documentation as instructed. ​The calls and accrued past-due balance began again in December. I finally managed to get a hold of the local manager, who informed me that my letter had just arrived via USPS. He then stated that they would not be processing the cancellation due to the past-due balance and that I needed to speak directly with the billing department. He even suggested I let the account go to collections and negotiate with the collections agency... ​I called the billing department, the lady said nothing was notated but could take my payment. Throughout my conversation with her I had to request to speak with a supervisor 4 times...I finally got transferred over to a supervisor. He suddenly located my cancellation letter on file. The manager, however, still insisted I needed to pay the past-due balance and pay for the following month before they would process the cancellation. He refused to honor the local gym's promise, stating they were not part of that conversation and nothing was notated in my file. ​I STRONGLY discourage anyone from signing up with this gym. They do not honor the instructions given by their own staff, demonstrate a severe lack of communication between the local gym and the corporate side, and apparently fail to train their representatives properly yet expect customers to know their policy verbatim.

His handling of my membership cancellation showed either a serious misunderstanding or a deliberate misrepresentation of the plain language in the membership agreement. There's no excuse for a general manager to be unfamiliar with the terms customers are required to sign. Saying "I'm not a lawyer" doesn't excuse it--it's unprofessional and undermines trust. He refused to honor my right to cancel within three business days under Arizona law (ARS § 44-1799.1) and claimed I was "confused" instead of reviewing the language objectively. The situation escalated unnecessarily and felt intentionally intimidating. While I ultimately asserted my legal rights and resolved the matter, it left a negative impression. Others in the community have shared similar concerns. If ownership is serious about improvement, I'm open to speaking directly. In fact, if you ever need someone who understands customer service and contract compliance better than current management, I'd be happy to submit my résumé.
