My apologies to Dave and to whomever monitors the Yelp site. Dave was thorough, respectful, had questions and took many measurements of the project. I fully expect that he will get back to me with a bid. Again, my apologies. It was my bad. Given the reviews I read here, I had very high expectations for Dave Campbell. Sadly, like so many in this industry, we talked on the phone, committed to a day and time for him to come to my home and discuss my construction needs...simple and straight-forward...and he no-showed me. No call, no re-scheduling, no apologies. Threw me under the bus. I am really, really tired of this treatment...and my belief in contractors is tanking.

David was patient for a couple years during the covid crisis as we went on and off the market and awaited a prospective buyer for this big job/investment. Great communication. Clear. No nonsense throughout the process. When we got our buyer and green lighted the project, he completed the everything quickly, correctly, with pride in his work, ahead of schedule and on quote. This satisfied our buyer on an issue that could have scared them off and we closed our sale on time. He fulfilled all his promises, working with the structural engineer so we got a perfect post-repair report. We also had a plaster repair crop up related to some plumbing work and he and his crew knocked that out quickly and with polish, matching and blending the repaired area to the existing paint. Lovely work. We couldn't be happier. On the Level completely lived up to their name. Highly recommended!
