We needed more so I took the concrete trailer back to purchase more. The owner was visibly irritated, extremely rude and unprofessional. When I asked him if he was okay, he said not really and told me that I didn't need to be there if I didn't like it. Giving him the benefit of the doubt and trying to brush it off, I walked into the office to pay and told the lady in the office what I had just experienced. At first, she apologized and the proceeded to tell me that I needed to leave after identifying the employee as the Owner. Obviously, this is how they run their business. We try to support small businesses but in this case, I will take my business elsewhere and I suggest you do too!

This was a weird experience. Not bad, just odd. I used Yelp…read moreto get quotes on a small concrete job (patio step) and half the companies didn't even respond. Conrad C messaged me back within 10 minutes asking me to call him with more details. He said either he or his brother, Eric, would be out the next day for an estimate. Sure enough, at the stated time, Eric showed up. He gave me a quote, which I thought was reasonable, and since no other businesses had stepped up, we agreed on a time for him to do the project. He gave me his card, but it had a different business name on it. Strange... On the appointed day, Eric didn't show up when he said he would. I called and he said he was running late. OK, I get that, but a phone call to let me know would have been nicer than me having to call him. When he finally showed up 2 hours late, he and Angel built the forms but had to run out to get plastic to cover my patio doors from splashing cement. They eventually finished late that afternoon. Before they left, I asked if I needed to keep it damp and when they would return to remove the forms. He told me to spray it down once in the evening and they would be back the next day to take off the forms. He never came back, so I texted him about the forms. He replied that his truck broke down so it would have to be the next day. Ok. Friday was a no show again, so I called him. He said his son was in town and he wouldn't be able to make it. Now I was frustrated and let him know he needed to finish the job I'd paid him for. Finally on Saturday, the forms mysteriously disappeared but Eric never even let me know he was here. That was creepy. I had talked to him about doing a patio cover next spring but after this experience, I probably won't be calling him back.
