Visited for the first time last weekend and had a fest night out with friends for one of my girlfriend's birthdays. The place is very cute inside with different seating areas, multiple bars and a closed in outdoor patio with heaters which is where my friends and I partied the night away. We arrived around 10 pm and the place was mostly empty, but as the hours passed, the place got packed! We attended on a Latin night and I actually loved the good mix of music - it was mostly Spanish music, but not all. I really liked how we did not have to pay for bottle service for a table, because most other places require it in order to have a seat or table. The drinks are fairly priced, however, the hookah was a whopping $42. So we opted out of that. Maybe that's how much the price is now but I remember back in the day paying $25 for a hookah. Went here for New Years Eve 2025. We've haven't been to a club for a.VERY long time - a couple of decades and more. Being used to places like Illusions at the Sheraton Mahwah as well as the Limelight and Webster Hall, the NYE advertisement made it far larger than it actually is. Paid $100 for open bar and buffet - which is super reasonable but we would have preferred a table but none were available. Getting drinks throughout the night was not a problem - always prompt and friendly. The buffet was actually quite good which included jumbo shrimp, sushi, Spanish food , Italian, and lots of appetizers which were pretty good. In the beginning, we thought it was a bad idea coming as it was quite empty at 8pm. By 10:30, it was quite busy and at 11:30, packed to the limit. They served midnight champagne, party favors, and were quite well staffed. The BIG issues.... It was open bar. So I probably had at least 12-15 drinks. I would be normally plastered for drinking so much (and I don't normally drink very much). I just wanted a slight buzz so that I would enjoy the constant dancing. I always saw them pour at least 1 shot of alcohol per drink. I wasn't even slightly buzzed or drunk for that matter. Leads me to believe they watered down the bottles. I can't prove anything but the fact we drank so much all night with no effects leads me to wonder. Second, with hundreds of people and 1 women's bathroom with 2 stalls, my wife was was holding it in instead of waiting for a 30 minute + line. In the end, we did enjoy the NYE party very much. $100 is pretty reasonable but with alcohol issues, I would skip the place if that is important yo you. read more

Very disappointed at the lack of respect. My husband & i got to the place to meet our friends at the VIP section. We had tables and bottles & when explaining this to the Caucasian bouncer (head of security) he told us we had to wait on the line despite the fact that we had reserved tables. 10 mins later still waiting on the line a group of caucasian people come & tell him they have tables & in front of our faces proceeds to allow them in. Sooo what happened to the rule where all had to wait on the line to get in ? Does it only apply to non Caucasian? We spoke to him & demanded an explanation and he just brushed us off. His colleague (Non Caucasian) later came up to us and apologized for the other bouncers actions. Which I was grateful for because it reassured us that we weren't over reacting. If I could give zero stars, I would. I came here for Halloween. The women who took care of us (we got bottle service) were amazing. I'd give them five stars. The reason I give one star is because I was there for a total of 4-ish hours. Of those four hours, I stood on line for the bathroom for FORTY FIVE MINUTES. Girls were pretending to be sick to cut in front of the line. We were trying to use the men's room because the line was so long, and were repeatedly turned away by the "men's bathroom attendant". At times, girls didn't know where the line even began for our bathroom. It was ridiculous. I finally get in there and find out there are TWO FUCKING STALLS IN THE BATHROOM. Including urinals, the men's room had over double the amount of toilets the women did. Disgusting. Do better. Will never go back. read more

There was a bachelorette party and he must have said, whatever her name was, Girl you're getting married! 30 times. Not 5, not 10 but 30, maybe more. I guess he felt the need to remind her in case her veil and commemorative t-shirt wearing girlfriends weren't sufficient enough. And birthdays, forget about it. The list was repeated over and over and over and over and over and over (add a bunch more overs to this) and over again. In case you're feeling down or that your life needs reason, the plethora of TV screens toggle between pictures of food, pictures of the place reminding you to hashtag them across the cyber universe, lists of their promotions and inspirational sayings like "Life Is Short. Make Sure You Make It Count", whatever the hell that means. Shit like that. You get the point. Worth mentioning is that the trek to the bathroom can be excruciating. Our table was across the dance floor and it would take us literally 10 minutes to wade through the crowd. I kinda think another bathroom or two might help, especially since the wait for the ladies room could exceed 20 minutes. Parking here is also tedious with an understaffed valet and way too long lines to both drop off your car and to pick it up. I suggest paying the extra $15 and going for a VIP spot so you don't have to wait. Anyway, while this place seems wildly popular, it will be a cold day in hell before I go back. I've been to 46 lounge multiple times when I won the VIP packages on IG and was seated outside which was nice during the warmer months. 46 lounge is on a highway; no street/free parking so make sure you have cash to pay valet parking (it usually ranges between $5-$10). Last night my friends and I visited for the Halloween party in which my friend bought a table. When walking in, you'll run right into the host table where they usually have deals to text a number to get $3 off your first drink at the bar. We were given wristbands and was escorted to our section. 46 lounge has multiple areas for VIP seating but I suggest getting a table away from the craziness of people on the dance floor. Our table was in the back which was nice cause it was sectioned off but getting through the dance floor to go to the restroom was another thing. Now let's talk about the bathroom... why is there only one bathroom, one for women one for men with two stalls? Plus the bathroom is small so you take one step out the stall and you're on the sink. Of course, the men's line is always short and usually places let women go into the men's bathroom when the women line is long... NOPE! The women's line was wrapped around the corner of the club blocking passage ways for people to get to the bar and on/off the dance floor. Was there anyone there to mediate the line? Nope. I waited 30 minutes to use the bathroom which is unacceptable one because they need more stalls and two they weren't letting women use the men's bathroom. Trust me, a lot of women were upset about that! Last time I came to 46 lounge there was a girl passed out in one stall which made the wait even worse because everyone was using one stall and it took staff a while to get her out. Okay, back to the VIP. So my friends and I showed up around 10pm and thought we had two tables for ourselves since we had around 15 people... WRONG. They squeezed two other parties of 8+ each in the same area we were in so we could barely sit, move or dance. If we paid over $1,100 for VIP why would they stick us in that situation? They need to do better in actually sizing the parties and the sections they stick people in. Nonetheless, I do like the hookah and drink buckets/deals they have! Music was ehhh... mostly Spanish music. I don't mind sometimes but would like more variety. Don't think I'll be visiting 46 lounge again unless it's in a more private VIP area. read more

The employees especially the bouncers are super rude and not hospitable at all. I know their jobs is to check ID's and make sure under 21 aren't getting into the lounge but the least they can do is be friendly and not rude especially for customers who are spending their money there! I went with a group of friends and we had a VIP table, and you would think they would treat us the right way with the good customer service we deserve and that was not it. I value friendliness and great customer service and i got the opposite here. Definitely not coming here again. Would rather spend my money else where. read more

This place has great potential but needs to step it up with their overall service. Waited on line for about 10 mins in the cold; they should have turned on their stand up heater that was located in the line area. As I walk in I give the ppl at the desk the information to the party I was attending. They hand me a ticket and that's it. I thank them and received no acknowledgement. I had to ask where to go and was pointed into the direction. So what do I do with the ticket? I kept walking and was tapped on the shoulder to hand it in. Maybe having ppl greet customers and someone to guide you at the front would make your entrance a presentable start. Coat check is $3 and it's located outside. This was something else I had to ask about. A table was reserved for our celebration. As we arrive there was ppl in our area, the table and couch was dirty and the package we requested with prices seen online was not what they wanted to give us. After the hassle we did get charged online prices. The woman's bathroom line was at least a minimum wait of 15 minutes. There is an individual there handing out paper towel. At the end of the night our birthday gal was slumped on the couch. Her husband arrives and asks to be guided in to help us carry her out. He is not permitted to enter. Security should of walked him in or at least helped us. Thankfully after 10-15 mins he found his way in and we were able to leave. My stars go to our bottle girl who was in perimeter view of our table. We needed extra juice and water and she was highly attentive in getting it. Also stars to the dancers. I went last Friday with a group of 7. Ive gone before and had a good time with no problems but after this my friends and i will NOT be returning. We arrived around 9:50 and had to wait on the side for a table we reserved. It took longer than usual but it was a Friday so i 100%understood. We all texted the number on our phone and received a text back where it clearly states that guys get discounted entry before 11pm. By the time we were attended to I noticed the woman on the left was overcharging the men in my group. That woman was completely rude to me when i told her she was mistakenly charging the three men in my group full price!! I insisted and even went as far as pulling up the text but she ignored me and told me to go back in line AS she charged my friends. I repeated myself and she said she's not in charge of answering questions but I didn't have a question i knew they were being overcharged based on the fact that I come here often. We all agreed to come early BASED on the discounted entry for the guys. In addition, we all came in at the same time so I don't understand why she wanted me back on line. She had such a nasty attitude. It was cold and none of us wanted to wait on line again so we just went to our table. Later we were served the champagne, I told the woman we had 2 girls dancing. She said ok but didn't leave their glasses or come back at all. Im not sure if she heard me or didn't care but both of them didn't receive their champagne. We danced a bit but we all left early because we got treated so poorly by that staff member and it honestly ruined the entire experience. Recently came back to this lounge, I had a better experience compare to past events. The pre-Fourth of July event was great, so happy I came with a large group of friends. The bartender was amazing, quick and efficient. Harold referred us to come check this place for the patio party and he didnt disappoint! I am only reviewing their Sat Latin nights here. Heres the bad:The place gets Super crowded, the ac is kinda low so if you're a dancer - prepare to sweat and there's always a line after 11. The good: if youre on their Latin pulse guest list you get in for free and get good deals on bottle service (I got $100 bottles of Ciroc for 4th of July), the place has nice decoraton, reminds me of Miami. They have food service, free salsa lessons if you get there early and even hookahs in their patio. The music is usually pretty good and mixed, they have stripper-ish dancers for when you need some motivation or forget a move too. I don't mind coming here, but preferably if I have a table... because after coming several times without table service I have seen the hell of having to stand in 5 inch heels waiting to get asked out to dance and gulping down a vodka tonic just so my fingers can regain feeling. For Totowa, this place is pretty legit, especially because they have indoor and outdoor areas. In the few times I've been here, the music has always been good. The speakers are quality and the volume is appropriate, but not so deafening you can't have a conversation with others. My ears are still ringing as of this morning though. That can't be good. The $10 cover isn't so bad and I don't recall too many prices over $200 if you're going for bottle service, where the furniture is quite comfortable, by the way. (If you do opt for bottle service, they waive the cover). The place also stays pretty clean, in part because they have bathroom attendants like most other clubs. The $5 for valet parking is reasonable. While there's plenty of empty space in the lots bordering the lounge, I don't know how strict the town is about enforcing ticketing or towing in those lots after hours, so you may as well just pay the valet. read more

This review is based on the Azucar Sunday and salsa lesson. First time stopping in to try out my Latin dancing skills since starting salsa lessons. The lesson was fairly easy to follow - but not ideal for a true beginner...got to at least know the basics. Small class maybe 15 people (more guys than girls) but overall the instructor was patient and very upbeat. The dance floor is on the smaller side but the size of the crowd was good. The DJ played a great mix of salsa, merengue, and bachata. Great bar specials for a Sunday night. We didn't try the food but as it was coming around it looked good. The waitress literally came to the table like twice through the whole night, I kid you not it took her almost an hour just to come to the table to finally refill some juices for our liquor. I asked the waitress to bring out the cake that was brought and 2 hours later nothing and again like I said the waitresses was BARELY AROUND. The party was ready to leave and it's already 2:15 AM still no cake until I finally asked someone in the front to bring it out full for me to take home, I followed the guy to the kitchen to receive my cake and of course that waitress is there laughing and talking to her other coworkers not doing her job saying she was going to bring the cake out that was asked hours ago.. horrible service and I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone and also the line for the women's bathroom is ridiculously long of a wait (only like 2 stalls) and I couldn't believe that the guy that was I guess in charge of the men's bathroom was telling women on the line that if they really need to go they can go in the men's bathroom to use the urinals (that's freaking gross) This place needs a huge upgrade. read more

PROS: I went to this lounge for a Halloween party and it met my expectations. The DJs were great, music was accurate for the 20s age group that was there, decorations were on point, and the layout of the place having a patio and multiple bars made it convenient. Valet​ parking was also a plus that way you don't have to find a spot and 50 drunk people don't pull out all at once CONS: The place allowed more people then it should inside since there was no room to move. The bathrooms were also too small to support the large crowd of people. They were pricey with their admission and their drinks while they also did not sell food. OVERALL: This is a great place to club if you don't want to go to Hoboken, despite some of their flaws. I will probably go back to this place eventually read more

I will give this place an overall 4 for a number of good reasons. Let me begin by saying I had my birthday bash here on a Saturday night. I had got VIP which included two top shelf bottles, champagne bottle, one appetizer and 10 free admissions. The positives: I was on the patio and it very more live I ordered the hookah, which was pretty good (30$) The bottle girls were friendly and on top of things for the most part The music was a nice mix (Mostly Latin) The crowd was not that bad The negatives: One security guard was being very difficult in the front It initially took a little while to get my table set Also one plus was I had forgotten my ID and Luckily I had a very clear picture of it and they let me through. The music was good, drinks were flowing, and everyone there was having an amazing time. Decor was cute. The people inside, well, they were just cheese. People were either trying to be Lindsay Lohan or one of the Gotti sons. But I wasn't there to make friends ... I was there to have a great time. Which I accomplished. My friend got 6 cups (small one) out of this kraft/mug thing. It was a blue and tasty, yet strong drink. Perfect for one night out. We enjoyed it. Went to this spot with my friend, it was very new to us but we heard great things about it so we thought why not check it out! The first few hours were fun! We had a few drinks made by the amazing bartender on duty she was lovely. It was not busy at all which I didn't mind and the music was great and easy to have fun to! It wasn't until later on when me and my friend met the general manager. He introduced himself and seemed very nice. I thought it was very professional for him to do that and get to know his customers. That was until he forcibly made my friend drink more than she wanted to making her pass out on the table violently drunk resulting in her being sick yet he still was trying to make her drink more. On top of that he had cornered me in an unoccupied room "showing me around" and he was trying to get sexual with me even though I made it known I was not interested yet he tried continuing without consent. I felt trapped. Right after all of that I had to drag my friend out of the establishment and get far away as possible especially because i was fearing for me and my friend's safety.
