Movie theaters may be a risky business these days, but I really liked this theater which is new and has comfortable reclining and heated seats. Of course the one person next to me had to check their phone several times, and people like that suck. You don't need to flash a beacon to prove you have an addiction. Focus for 1.5-2 hours, dude. Anyway, popcorn and soda are solid and price-expected options. Buying seats online is pretty standard, but it was handy to show up around start time, especially because it was 25 minutes after that before the movie started. Seats were comfortable, screen and sound were good, and bathrooms were nice and clean. There is plenty of parking at the corner of the mall the theater was built in. It's a short walk over to the mall if you want to check out the food court after. The prices were also reasonable for daytime movies. If you're going to go out and see a film, this was a great and comfortable option. read more

I absolutely loved this theater! This is my daughter's go-to movie theater. It was my first time there. I complained a bit because I wanted to go to a more local theater but this cinema was certainly worth the drive. It was very clean, looked new and very well organized. The concession area was not that big but I noticed they did have concessions out so that you could grab your own and then go pay. I just liked the vibe and feel the theater. When we went to watch the movie, we sat in recliners, which were heated! That was a nice plus. Prices are very reasonable and cheaper than other theatres around. I will definitely be returning back to Cinemark at Willowbrook Mall. read more

My husband and I went to Cinemark to see "Lisa Frankenstein" on Valentine's Day. This was our first time both at the Cinemark Willowbrook and at any Cinemark. My coworker had told me good things about this one, and it met expectation. We had a great experience. The movie theater was clean and well maintained and had friendly staff at concessions, nice auditoriums, and comfy recliner seats (climate controlled!). Plus it was so easy to just scan a QR code and print our pre-ordered tickets at the self-service kiosks. I normally don't go to the concession stand when I go to the movies, but I wanted to lean into the whole movie-theater-date trope since it was Valentine's Day. For us to share, I got Combo #1 - large popcorn, large soda fountain drink, and a candy/snack. FYI - Large is HUGE! It could have been shared among a family of four. Not a complaint (it's good popcorn), this is just a tip. Combo #1 is perfect for a family; don't get it if it's just two people. By the end of the movie, we hardly made a dent into the popcorn. So I ended up carrying more than three-fourths of it out and bagging the leftovers in ziplocks when we got home because I didn't want it to go to waste. But I'm glad I went to the concessions because I got to see how well staff were to customers. Even though it didn't look like there were a lot of staff around at that time, the ones who were there really were on it and did a good job. The staffer who helped me at the register was friendly and courteous with me when I said it was my first time ordering at Cinemark. I also saw how another staffer patiently took care of the customer in front of me in line. The customer had kids and the staffer took the time to ensure the mother got her member rewards discount applied during this visit with her family ... Also, once the movie finished and end credits were rolling, staff were already coming in to clean and prep the auditorium for the next show. Plus, we saw a staffer help a girl who left her cell phone in the auditorium and return it to her. Consistent with what my coworker told me and with most Yelper reviews, this is a great theater to go to for movies. I hope it stays this way. I would definitely recommend it! read more

Absolutely disgusting experience at this Cinemark. The manager on duty (her name sounded like Litha or Liza) was completely unprofessional and rude. Not only did she deny me a refund after refusing my entry, but she actually was talking down to me with a nasty, condescending attitude. I have never been treated with such disrespect by an employee, let alone a manager. This person does not belong in customer service -- let alone in charge of a theater. Cinemark should be ashamed to have someone representing their brand in this way. I will not be coming back, and I'll be sharing this experience widely so others know how poorly customers are treated here. read more

I went to see "WONKA" at the Cinemark and "XD" at the Willowbrook Mall, Wayne, NJ. I ordered my ticket for the "XD' movie online, $13, as well as the seat. There are 12 auditorium with just one that shows "XD" movies. Mobile ordering allows you to choose your movie day, time seat and order snacks. Snacks can be picked up at "Guest-Pickup" or delivered to your seat at a $2 extra charge. Each seat has a swivel table and beverage holder. I like the "XD" theater, Extreme Digital" technology is used here. It is comparable to IMAX, 1.90:1 with exceptionally sharp images and vibrant colors, Dolby enhanced surround sound technology and digital projection technology sets the experience apart from other movie experiences. The theater has "luxury lounges" which allow the audience to really incline while watching the movie. If you have had trouble sleeping at night, this is your solution. First time at this movie theater. Place overall was very clean and organized. Staff were friendly and helpful. Seats were comfortable too- has a small table attached for food. Seats also have incline and heating options. Did not order food but picked up some nachos and cheese from the lines leading to register. Soda/Icee Slushie machines are self serve. Screens had great sound and quality. Went around 12:50pm for a 1:00 showing. Spacious parking outside. I had a great time with my family. read more

Very comfortable seating. Advertised movie start time was 7:35pm. Very annoyed at 25 plus minutes of previews, for other movies.

Mesmerizing in so many ways. The music was just outstanding. The song selections were on point. The First Lady was so realistic with so many behind the scenes real life glimpses. Totally transparent with regards to what her daily activities entail. A true classy documentary which keeps you riveted to the screen and longing for more. So respectful and eye opening. Its so reassuring to see how seriously she takes her role as the First Lady and how dedicated she is to help improve the lives of foster children. She is a gentle lioness and a excellent role model for our young girls. Cinemark Willowbrook provided an extremely clean environment and provided excellent accessibility to wheelchair users. The online ticket purchase was extremely easy and so efficient, and a time saver and the ticket prices totally shocked me. A really great value and a wonderful day at the movies!!! I really liked Cinemark! Visited to watch the Mario movie, which was amazing btw. Theater is beautiful and the heated recliner seats? Genius! My bf and I fell asleep a couple times during the movie, haha. You also have small tables which was perfect for my purse and of course, the snacks. I like how you can place your snack order online. Of course, it's pricey. My vitamin water was $5.25. Bathrooms could be cleaner along with the movie seats as there was popcorn left from the last showing but other than that, I would definitely visit Cinemark again! read more

The movie theater that has been under construction at Willowbrook Mall for the past year now finally opened. We were there yesterday for the screening of Bollywood flick 'Good Newwz'. The theater was great, 12-auditorium Cinemark theater - Every auditorium is furnished with oversized recliners, called "Luxury Loungers," and believe me, these are great. Wintertime and cushion warmers are just wow with extendable footrest. like any usual theater, it also has candy, popcorn, and soda besides that Edy's Ice Cream, Pizza Hut, and Starbucks products are also available. Restrooms near Audi 3 is small but clean, not sure about others. got to know from one employee that- Some auditoriums are equipped with 3D-capability, and one will be an "Extreme Digital" -- or, "XD" -- auditorium, with a floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall screen. Wohoo, cant wait to see a movie in this 'XD' The theater also features a party room where guests can host private events. Morning shows are under $6-7 and rest costs between $9-12 which are great. One of the worst employees in the world was working the concession stand when I attended a 5pm movie on Sept. 15th. She didn't have the courtesy to ask what I wanted, she just stared at me. After I told her what I wanted (I was almost afraid to order, she was large and angry) she got the items, grunted the cost, and placed my food and drink down and never stated thank you as she seemed annoyed to have to hand me my change. She obviously hates her job and people. SMH On a positive note, the theater is nice, the seats are comfortable and the movie was really funny. The theater needs to weed out "Ms. Happy" so she can pursue her dream job at the DMV. read more

Check in is very easy here. They have several kiosks if using credit cards. And the lady taking cash was well knowledgeable to keep the line moving fast by her self. I did not use the concession stand this visit. But from the length of the line it looked as it was a good flow going and had enough lines open to handle the Friday night crowd. This is a smaller theater but has great sound system and a big screen. Makes up for the lack of the small size. The reclining heating / cool seat are good to have depending on your feel at the moment. This theater is about 3 yrs open and has maintained its cleanness and friendly staff. We had a good crew in our theatre room for the exception for about 5-7 kinds ranging in age pre teen to teen who were there without parental supervision in which they started immediately starting with out loud screaming talking through out the ads previews and the movie, we were all there with our families including children the teens decided to throw their drinks and popcorn all around over all of us that were seated below them!! We all turned around and I got up fast and went to speak with the manger and told him about what had just happened him and another colleague went and got all of the kids together and kicked them out!! We couldn't enjoy the movie the family night out or our food and drinks that we had to throw out and I had to wash my face off with soap and water!! We had to throw our food and drinks into the trash!! We are all members of your theatre and loyal customers at your Wayne, NJ Willowbrook Mall location. Your manager brought another employee with him for protection when he kicked out the teens that started screaming and talking loudly before the ads and movie even started and proceeded to get worse once the ads and movie started! Please bring back ushers who used to check the rooms through out the movie!! I was close to calling the police as well!! The room was a filthy mess when we left after the move ended I felt so bad for the employees that had to clean that mess!! My advice to those who want to see the Minecraft movie either go at their earliest showing on the morning or wait until it comes out on demand to watch at home in the safety of your own home. read more

We've watched the movie in the XD format and it was such a great movie experience, clear pictures and crisp sounds. The bathrooms and cinema floor were disgusting. I took my son to the bathroom and the toilets had so mush bodily fluids on them I just couldn't believe an establishment would allow it to get that bad. It's like the vacuum cleaner must of broke and they all forgot how to sweep. Years of popcorn all over the floors. Sad that a business would get so bad with how many people need jobs in the world you'd think they would hire someone to help keep the place clean. read more

Looks great on the outside, new and fancy, inside is similar. But it wasn't that clean and prices were insane. For a pizza, medium popcorn, and medium slush I paid almost thirty dollars. The popcorn was stale tasting. When I got to the theater my chair was dirty, I mean really all you have to do is wipe the chair down. And it wasn't. This place is great, it may just be my new movie theater of choice! They offer plenty of movies/viewings and the theaters themselves are extremely clean. It isn't a dine-in in the sense that waiters bring food to you, but I actually prefer not being interrupted during a movie. Make sure to arrive early to get food/drinks and select your seat. The chairs recline and are heated, making for an optimal viewing experience. read more
