I am excited to say that I leave my training sessions with Grant, a little bit sore but very satisfied. My muscles are sore, I've worked up a good sweat, and I'm proud that I pushed through another workout. One of the reasons I picked Grant over someone at my local gym is that he has numerous certifications and continuing education. He keeps up on fitness techniques and nutrition. He's given me some great ideas for healthy eating. He's very positive and motivating. And he's great at gearing your workout to your goals and health issues. I like the personal attention and the privacy of his gym. I've been seeing Grant for a year and a half now and am glad that I found him through a reference from a friend. I can say that I am definitely in much less pain and have lost 20 pounds in the process. I am more fit, healthy, and happy. It's a really neat idea, but a little hard to follow when you want to workout with someone. It also makes wiping down the equipment a little tricky with the time crunch. I'm not sure if they hand out rags somewhere to help this? But if not, it would be really helpful. I'll probably bring one next time instead of having to lug over to their cleaning stations. Anyway, it's a nice space and kept us busy. I plan on going back, so I will update as I get a better feel for the space.

One of the biggest frustrations is that they would not allow me to switch to a different Planet Fitness location. On top of that, I was charged unexpected fees that were never clearly explained. After reading other reviews, it seems many current and former members have experienced similar overcharging issues. The facility is also not consistently clean, and members are expected to wipe down all equipment after each use, yet the gym itself doesn't always appear to be well maintained. Overall, my experience has been very disappointing, and I would not recommend this location based on the rude customer service, billing practices, and cleanliness.

I even mentioned about my left knee ACL surgery and guess what? He helped me work around that too!
