He gave me a genuine hug when I didn't even realize how much I needed it in that moment, still in shock after what had just happened. He did everything with a big smile on his face and a lot of wit to share the smile with us. Later in the day, my best friend and I went to pick up my belongings out of my vehicle. He treated us like family, like people who mattered. After he'd already finished up and was technically off the clock, he stayed and talked with us for almost a hour! Really talked with us. Didn't know if it was stolen or towed. went back to look at the entrance it say in HUGE letters " cars need rest too" or something like that. Underneath that in very small white letters it said permit only parking. no other signs once you are inside to be seen so I thought I was in the clear. Once we tracked down where our car was towed. we went to PRM towing. The price to get my car back was high but what I expected when i did some research. They guy running the counter was polite and sympathetic agreeing that the place we parked was very poorly marked and he didn't agree with how they do things but he was just doing his job. My main complaint about the whole ordeal is with the parking garage for poorly marked signage. Be careful and take the time to read parking garage signs near the Gillioz. This is why i don't like going downtown very often even if you have to stop in the middle of the road and take 20 seconds to decipher what it says.
