What tow company comes and tows a vehicle parked on private property based on a call from a college student? My daughter came home and thought her car had been stolen and was informed by the police that it had been towed. I spoke to a dispatcher who told me I would have to come pick up the car or pay another days storage fee (it was 11:00 pm & I live in another state!). I called back the next morning and spoke to Dave, the owner, who was rude and beligerant, and told him we would NOT be paying for the illegal tow. After informing him that he had no right to tow the car and that I I would be reporting him to the RI Department of Transportation told me to come get the car. Unfortunately, the landlord did pay him but is charging the student who called to get it towed.

Ask anywhere around Woonsocket Bellingham and Cumberland and you will hear awful things. The guy has a tiny shop and can't afford to fix your car or afford to pay his guys. He makes up excuses and complains about jobs instead of satisfying the customer. He constantly and consistently committed fraud on numerous occasions with insurance companies but that doesn't mean you'll be getting that extra insurance money! Nope he pockets it for himself. Old cheap guy who lost his way years ago. Goto north Smithfield auto body on 146 you'll like them a lot better and they'll cost about 70% less too.
