The pickles were breaded well but some were hot inside and some were cold. Also tried my GF's fish and it was slightly over-fried and needed more seasoning. The service was good and we would have likely given her 20% but I don't like being told what we have to tip. Would try it again but wouldn't have high expectations for it to be better than average.

It's a solid place, but our taste buds don't think it's as great as everyone else's. We ordered a couple of lemonades, a platter and half a chicken. Thanks to Jen and Ben (the owners) for keeping this place in my favorite spots with their friendliness, great service, and amazing food! Stand out hits: Mac and Cheese, Pulled Pork sandwich (love those house-made pickles!), the 'cued Beans, 1/2 Chicken, Cornbread, Collard Greens... actually, I've yet to have a bad thing here.
