Wow. This is some seriously great BBQ. We got a whole rack of ribs, 1/2 lb of brisket, a small mac & cheese, and a small baked beans. Both types of meat were cooked to perfection. They really didn't need any sauce, but when I added the sauce it was even better! I am not a huge fan of baked beans, but these were awesome. I mixed them with the mac & cheese. I'd drive back up here from NYC for this for sure! If you're anywhere near the area, do yourself a favor and get yourself some. read more

Big Kev's Bbq - small order of baked beans - Barbeque Near Me - White lake, New York

We stopped here for lunch after seeing this place online and hearing about it from people that visited this area. It's a solid place, but our taste buds don't think it's as great as everyone else's. We ordered a couple of lemonades, a platter and half a chicken. The ribs, chicken & cornbread were good and flavorful. The brisket was dry, and the pulled pork also could've been moister. Sorry Big Kev, but we've had better. read more

Amazing bbq! Fast service! Everything was so yummy. Pulled pork was outstanding and the cold slaw was killer.

Visiting in the area we saw the food truck and decided to check it out. We got brisket, burnt ends and corn bread. No pics since we ate in the car. But, the brisket and corn bread were very good. The burnt ends were terrible. Like totally dried out. Like meat chalk to be honest. We didn't go back to say something because we were too far along at that point. So we didn't give them a chance to make it right. We brought some home for our sons to try and they both agreed with us that the burnt ends were beyond burnt. Maybe it was an off day read more

Pulling up we were so shocked to see so many cars , and the young lady working the food truck so nice and helpful . She gave us there IG info to follow them on line. We don't come this way often but next time we do we will 100% be returning . Also they accept cards !!! Loved the huge BBQ they have outside and the large colorful signs make the ambiance of an authentic bbq spot , read more

The food was awesome. They have a lot of different food, including smoked duck, which is unusual. There is a Thai person here who had Thai food and fresh vegetables for sale which was unusual. Definitely make this a stop on your way to Bethel Woods read more

Well the accolades are deserving. Our ribs, precut with a sweet BBQ sauce were meaty and perfectly done. Smoked corn is wrapped in aluminum foil and cooked with the husk on. Burnt ends are smoked meat and fat in BBQ sauce. All were excellent. Your fingers get sticky good and there is a water stand near the porta potties. Hardest part is finding the place but when we came at lunch time they were coming every thirty seconds. read more

I had high expectations but the bbq wasn't all up to them. got the sampler. the pulled pork was very good. moist and flavorful. but the brisket was bland and too lean for my taste, which made it dry. ribs were ok. Cole slaw was good. We enjoyed sitting at the picnic tables and the wooded setting is nice. I think it would be good for a family. read more

Great roadside bbq. Fast service. Some outdoor seating, most tote it home, if you can get it there without nibbling. The sampler is delicious and fed two people. The sauces are tasty especially the hot one. Macncheese is a great side. The people friendly and helpful read more

If you like bbq you will absolutely love bug kevs. If you don't like bbq, perhaps this may change your mind. This food truck off 17B certainly knows how to get people to stop. The food of course. Always a line but worth it! always delicious! From baked potatoes and burnt ends to their fall off the bone ribs. Yum! And now a great setting too. Picnic tables available and some great music in the background. Great job big kev. It's a must have stop every time i come through town. read more

Best barbecue in the county, but sadly the worst hours. They close for a ridiculously long break during the winter, and often sell out way too early on the days are open during the season. Still, it is always worth the trip. read more

In the past I've always looked forward to eating at Big Kev's. However, on my most recent trip I ordered the brisket, wings, and burnt ends. The burnt ends are no longer how I remember them. Today they resembled chicharron more so being that they were burnt to a CRISP... unfortunate that those are my favorite thing to order. read more

Wow! Wow! Wow! Came here for the first time today and will I be back... a million times yes. The meats are so tender and juicy it's absolutely incredible. I had a sampler platter with pulled pork, ribs, and brisket and I can't even tell you which one I liked best. The platter comes with one side and I had mac and cheese and it was tasty, cheesy, and overall delicious. I ended up getting an extra side of cornbread and I'm speechless at how light and airy the cornbread was. (Ended is getting an extra one lol). The decor is very funny and fits well with the theme of smoked meats. There have about 6/7 tables where you can sit and chat they placed most of the tables in the shade so it's perfect weather to enjoy the delicious foods. Even better than the food, the service was phenomenal. All of the employees there are beyond kind and willing to help. Can't wait to go back! You should definitely go check it out. read more

The service was friendly and quick .. the ribs were delicious . The Mac and cheese was nice and creamy.!!

These ribs are FABULOUS. I have had ribs at all the typical haunts in Brooklyn, and none come close to Kev's. Tender, fall off the bone, flavorful. If you want more sauce to jazz them up go for it, but it is not a requirement. Take these straight up and they are heavenly. Kev's is a take out or sit outside off busy Rte 17B only. BUT you are off road enough so it is not a nuisance. Down and dirty stuff yourself with the best ribs. Their pulled pork is great but I've never made a meal of it. GOT TO HAVE THEIR RIBS. Sides are limited but all are good. Honestly, are you going there for sides?! Now these are so good, if you think this is what you want for dinner, don't expect to go and there will be enough for you. This place gets sold out quickly. Just call up and reserve your order and they will have it ready for you at the time you want them. Have I convinced you? I don't care. If you aren't buying then more for us. read more

Amazing roadside bbq. Went here while visiting a friend. Affordable, juicy and delicious. The brisket I liked better than the pork. The Brisket also wasn't as fatty as I expected. Coleslaw is different, has vinegar and horseradish in it but it's good. Corn bread is super moist. What a treat! read more

Best BBQ we have had in a very long time! Sampler was amazing! We came for the show at Bethel, and will be going back 1 1/2 hours for another dinner! Seemingly Big Kev is a teenage woman, because when asked who Big Kev was, she claimed it was her! If you get the chance, do not skip this place. We were also told by someone who lives locally, that their chicken is a hidden gem on the menu. read more

Great price, delicious brisket, ribs and baked beans! Coleslaw is a slightly different recipe than I am used to but equally as good! Overall I am totally satisfied with this spot after a few rounds of crappy food orders around the white lake area. How can you not love Big Kev's BBQ? Every year without fail, your food gets better!! Counting down the days until they open every year. The service is always terrific.. This place is a gem. Very reasonably priced. Well worth the detour to beautiful White Lake. It's only outdoor picnic tables. Not an indoor place. read more

Had a great time at my little brunch at Big Kev's. The winter cold thawed for one day making it almost 60 out, and I was able to eat my meal outside on the picnic table. Saw that Mike C. went here but I opted for the Boat instead of the Big Kev. Was not disappointed. The brisket's so tender that I could cut it with my fork as I went with the eggs underneath like I was eating pancakes, using the BBQ sauce like syrup. An interesting thing they do with the boat is melt the cheese in between the egg and the brisket which worked out well in every bite. Like mentioned before, the thing that really makes this place is their homemade BBQ sauce which you can get as much as you want of. I didn't really need more than one container though. Anyway it's quality BBQ and I would recommend the brisket breakfast options because brisket with eggs and cheese and BBQ sauce is a no brainer, especially when it costs the same as the BEC or the SEC. I'll definitely get a sandwich the next time I come here because I bet the rolls are really fresh and quality like the rest of the ingredients. A great outdoor space too with it's own port-a-potty! Not pictured however. read more
