They then contacted me the day before asking me if I could come in the next morning instead of the 3:00 pm scheduled time. I told them I could not because I work in the morning and was starting early so I could drop my dog off at 3:00 pm. After some messaging back and forth, they ended up being able to accommodate us. I dropped off about 20 minutes early, and got a text message when grooming was complete. Lots of open parking stalls when I was there. They are able to take CC with a small service fee. I'm happy with the overall outcome and will be back when it's time again.

This PetSmart has a ton of great options and their website told me they had it in stock at this location.... So off I went lol. The store is well clean and organized, with plenty of staff and some cute animals to look at. The only down side is this area of the town center doesn't have a lot of parking near the store, most are taken by people going to Zippys, so you might have to walk a bit. Just as a heads up, they match their online prices! Just make sure to show them it on your phone. If not, the prices maybe considerably higher depending on what you get.

Hurriedly dashed to my car with my 5 items for Grandpup. Picking up Lunch and bank will have to wait til tomorrow. Cloudburst!!! At least accomplished 2 of the 4 errands today. I can work on her birthday card later this afternoon.

Wonderful experience for both myself and my dog. We will be using Pono Pups again as the need arises. I highly recommend them to those in need of a mobile grooming service! For $15 they do nail trimming and filing- such a low price to pay for how much stress they are taking off my plate! It was so fast and my dog was so happy after. He's never happy after I clip his nails myself. It's so much shorter and smoother than I was ever to do myself. She said that her mom opened up this business 20 years ago (sorry, I forgot to catch her name!) Next time we're also going to do a teeth brushing and maybe a paw shave too. They also do ear cleaning, anal gland expressing, sanitary trimming, and face trimming. I'm so glad to have a go-to spot to take this task off my list!

04/26/2026 @1:30pm: I just moved home and was hoping to find my boy a new groomer. I walked in and…read morechecked in and she seemed a little overwhelmed/wanting to get the day done with (we were her last client of the day). She asked me what kind of cut I wanted and I let her know I wanted a mohawk style cut and she said she didn't understand what I wanted, I then tried to show her using my dogs body and she was still confused and started getting an attitude. She told me to pick a blade size before she could proceed and I tried telling her that I wanted to first show her what I meant and she ignored it and walked away and turned off the music and then started to walk back. My mom had been with me and told me I should leave and not allow her to cut my dog. She must've overheard my mom say this because her attitude immediately shifted and she became a little bubbly and kinder. I let her know I didn't want the mohawk anymore because it seemed too difficult to communicate with her what I wanted and I would just do a trim all over and to round his face out. She then let me know typically only poodles do that cut and asked if I was sure I wanted that cut (completely unnecessary comment). I let her know he has been getting groomed and that is his typical cut when we don't do something fun/funky. I only stayed because my dog was in need of a haircut and I was already there. I really hoped the haircut would come out great since it was the same cut on his entire body and then just face shaping and she made it a point to let me know she's been a stylist for 30 years. I had to fix up the parts that were extremely uneven and I fixed behind his ears which were not groomed in the same places. She also let me know when I picked him up how much of a good boy he was for her so I'm even more confused by the uneven cutting. I will definitely not be returning and I am so disappointed by her service because the guy (Chris) who booked my appointment was so friendly and helpful.

The doctor was pleasant and gentle with our dog, which we appreciated. During our second visit, we worked with a different vet tech who was also kind and professional. I did find it helpful that they itemize the services, which allows you to see exactly what you are paying for and decide what you would like to move forward with. One difference from our previous vet is that they take the dogs to the back area to administer shots. Our last vet did everything in front of us, so that was something new for us.
