I called around to get them groomed. Two places flat out refused to groom them because they are chows. When I contacted Maikai via yelp, Lita was agreeable to get them groomed and scheduled my appointment. The appointment day and time came and no groomer showed up. I called Lita who told me she'd find out what happened. She called me back within half hour and let me know the groomer got bitten at the previous appointment and wasn't able to make it. She offered to reschedule the appointment and we did. I wasn't there for the rescheduled appointment and was worried my dogs would be temperamental since they never been groomed by an outsider, but it was my husband who got temperamental since he didn't understand what needed to be done. My mom was there to alleviate concerns and told me the groomer did the best she could. Because they were matted, the only option was a shave. My mom said the groomer took her time and really cared about her work. After the grooming was done, I received a call from Lita who discussed with me how the grooming went. I appreciate the call since I couldn't be there and I'm the primary caregiver to my boys. I give them five stars because 1. They took my boys in when other places wouldn't, 2. My mom said the groomer took care in grooming them, 3. Lita was professional in communication, 4. They're chows chows, not the easiest breed to groom because of fur and temperament, 5. They came to the house which made it easier to handle my boys. I hope to use them again in the future, but with my boys fur in better shape the next time around.

My Lilo has been going to PetSmart to get groomed but the last couple times it wasnt a successful visit :(. Her nails were getting long n she gets very excited around other dogs, so I turned to YELP as usual n found Maika'i Pet Sitting n Mobile Grooming. Lalita and April came promptly at 530 if not a couple minutes early. They dont have a mobile truck so they do use your yard to do their services, but thats not a problem because it made Lilo feel even more comfortable at home. As Lalita and April began Lilo immediately took to both of them n they were able to get to work. She got a basic service of a bathe, nail clipping, and ear cleaning. Lilo enjoyed every minute of it. They also mentioned that not only do they have house sitting, they do drop in services if ur on vacation as well:). You best believe I will be calling them again for Lilo's SPA treatment as ii called it:))) Give them a try you wont be disappointed:))

My older dog always had a terrible time at the big store groomers and even came down with kennel cough twice after getting groomed. Once we did 4 Paw Professionals, I will never go back! My yorkies love not having to drive to the groomers, they love the quiet experience (no dogs barking or stressing them out), they also love not waiting in kennels as their groomer stacks customers and they love that they're done in about an hour (compared to 3-4 hours at the big pet store groomers). I love the convenience and the care that Amy and Jon take with them each time to make sure it's a positive experience. 100% worth the cost to have that peace of mind for my furbabies.

My dog, Rocky, is a sweetheart, but unfortunately, she got a bit traumatized when she was a puppy because of a bad nail trim she received that left her bleeding for a really long time. Honestly, that incident was traumatic for me as well. Over the years of off-and-on service at Petco, we'd sometimes get lucky and Rocky would have Amy as her groomer. Only recently did I realize I could request a groomer, but last week when I didn't see Amy's name online, I immediately called Petco to put in a verbal request. NOT to my surprise, the groomer who answered shared that Amy was no longer with Petco and that she had started her own mobile grooming business.. then he gave me her number. Lol!! Today was Rocky's lucky day! She got her deep cleaning bath and pampering, with nail trim and buff - The Bath & Brush package. Very reasonably priced, comparable to salon rates, with the option for the 4 Paw Professionals mobile service. Since we just moved into our new home and I had some cleaning to do, I figured, why not, let's have Rocky pampered right outside our home. Very affordable addition to the grooming package; $20 for the convenience of having them come to you. Time is money, so I feel that is spot on since I live in Ewa and Amy is based out of Mililani. Anyways, long story short - if you need grooming, I say with 100% confidence that you should try 4 Paw Professionals!! They don't have many reviews yet, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time. I know Amy takes excellent care of our loved ones and I can tell it's something she loves to do! Rocky is a very shy, somewhat anxious pup, but once she seen Amy today, she ran straight to her van!
