Our problems started right after we rented, and they did address them initially, but then they couldn't agree with the landlord and parted ways. After that, I was left alone with the landlord. Of course, since their contracts ended, they don't have to help, but even though I continued paying all my rent through the platform they provided and they knew about the issues with the landlord, they offered no support when I moved out. They didn't even give me a reference, and because my landlord didn't reply to emails or replied late, or perhaps gave a bad reference, I had a lot of trouble finding a new place. All I wanted was a reference. I came from another state and rented this house sight unseen, trusting their name, but they didn't lift a finger to help me in my difficult time. In the end, with a baby, two months of stress looking for a house, being rejected, and paying more deposit because there was no reference or a bad one. Think twice before doing business with this company or trusting their name, and if possible, talk to the landlord directly and meet them because one day they might be disappeared. Otherwise, you might end up without electricity and get no help from anyone. Because at the end of the day, once they rent the house and get their money, you're nobody's concern. Note for response: I just have asked that I rented property via your company and paid on time. New landlord just want to make sure no eviction or delayed payments. You had all these information and legally you could refer me because I rented from your company and I have used zego payment via from your company. You guys just rented out took your money and left me alone with landlord. I dont know landlord.I trusted your company! You just betrayed and left your customer alone

To be transparent, we are property owners, so this review is from the owner's point of view. Having said that, he's been proactive in making sure the rental house is in a good shape, including regular annual maintenance. This is to ensure tenants get what they pay for. One thing David really stands out is his responsiveness and timely communications. Tips: believe it or not, best way to contact him is via email. He'll call me as soon as he's available whenever I ask him to call me via email. His email responses are mostly cryptic and straight to the point, and some folks may take that differently. But for us, we like his cut-to-the-chase, no-nonsense style. Believe us, we have had a different property manager before, and he may seem courteous, but his responsiveness and professionalism are not even close to David's.

David doesn't ignore hard problems but will take care of them right away. These problems were ignored for years by my previous property manager (also full-priced 10% but not half as worth the price). We drove 2 hours to get there and then they told us the road wasn't plowed. Not a big deal, we chained up and made it just fine. Then they told us the person who changes the sheets wasn't able to make it and asked if we would mind putting the clean sheets on the bed, not a big deal. But, when we arrived, the house had not been cleaned at all. the dirty sheets were on the bed, last guests towels on the ground, no vacuuming, no work done whatsoever. They offered to refund us our $150 cleaning fee if we volunteered to clean it ourselves. Our relaxing weekend did not involve cleaning up stranger's mess in a cabin that we were paying $1,000 to stay in for 3 days. Sure, there was snow, but it hadn't snowed in the 4 days before we arrived. They seemed crippled by the snow, which is surprising because I am quite sure that it snows pretty regularly there. They blamed the housekeeping staff on not communicating with them, but it was the management's responsibility to make sure the cabin was ready for us BEFORE we drove 2 hours to get there. They offered us a different cabin that they said was comparable, but they said that one was "half cleaned" whatever that means. They were apologetic and pressured us to accept a discount to stay if we cleaned it ourselves and said that they could magically get someone out the next day to clean it. They even offered to BRING US CLEANING SUPPLIES. not come clean it for us, but they could bring us supplies. Ultimately, it seemed like a problem with their cleaning crews, but management was not willing or able to step up and fix the situation. We cancelled our reservation and booked one of the last remaining motels in Leavenworth for our ski weekend. It was small and low quality, but it was clean. My wife and I travel often and we will NOT be booking with Sea to Sky Rentals nor will be recommending them to anyone.

And they are still the worst landlord that I have ever dealt with. Believe all of the bad reviews. I do not know any of the other individuals, but their reviews reflect my own experiences with Walls Property Management. In addition to many other bad experiences with this company, they are currently trying to charge me $372.43 for a maintenance call that took less than 5 minutes--all the technician did was reset a button on the stove fan hood. No damages on my part, and no parts or materials required. In addition, every neighbor that I have met have recounted their own bad experiences with Walls Property Management. If you choose to rent through this company, be prepared to defend your tenants' rights, because they have no compunction with ignoring tenants' concerns, selectively enforcing the lease, and violating tenants' rights.

*LONG POST* Walls…read moreProperty Management is THE WORST. I moved into my current residence in September 2023 and about a month in, I realized there was a SERIOUS leak coming from the living room window every time it rained. It would pour down the window, onto the sill and then pool at the floor if I did not put towels down. I immediately contacted maintenance for support and even expressed that new windows would be needed in my whole unit! The conditions are below what anyone should be dealing with. Let me tell you, that I have STILL not had the issue completely fixed more than a year later, even though I have called maintenance several times as well as management only to be given the run-around. Even when maintenance workers came out and claimed they fixed the leak, it still was never fully fixed. Fast forward to this year: In October - November 2024 maintenance workers came and ripped out part of my ceiling above my window to try and see where this leak was coming from exactly. While I was happy to see this moving in the right direction, they never patched it back up because they were "waiting for the wood to dry"... well it's December now and the rain is gonna keep coming! Soooo I just have this hole in my ceiling. At the same time, I finally saw some slight progress being made of a windows person coming to take measurements for new windows. But as of the beginning of December 2024, the owner of the building decided to change management groups. So now, I'm still left with no real solution. Now it's like both management groups are trying to kick a ball back and forth on whose responsibility it is to finish the job. I don't care, I just want it done once and for all!!! It is UNACCEPTABLE, UNPROFESSIONAL AND EMBARRASSING FOR WALLS PROPERTY MANAGEMENT GROUP TO EVEN CALL THEMSELVES THIS WHEN THEY DON'T CARE AT ALL ABOUT TENANTS. I know I shouldn't be surprised, but over a year to fix something is crazy. I did everything I was supposed to as a responsible tenant.

For example, the Crestwood is not maintained, so the building is really run down, has filthy main walkways, mildew infested units, mold growing all over the decks/exterior, and poorly managed grounds. During the year I spent living at Crestwood, I never once saw anyone cleaning or maintaining the common spaces or grounds. Then, the building is surrounded by trees so it attracts a lot of big spiders. The webs take over the walkways and doorways, then they constantly get into your apartment. The building is old so you can hear everything; there is no sound proofing whatsoever. Also, across the street was a large construction site so it was loud jackhammering, concrete trucks, gravel trucks, etc for the majority of my time at Crestwood. Also, the property manager lied about the deposit saying it's cheaper to just vacate, that the cleaning fee would be about $150. Instead, they charged $375 for cleaning and I left my unit far cleaner then it was when I first moved in. I have rented apartments in the Seattle area for over 20 years and I have NEVER had a property management company keep more than half my deposit, for literally no reason. I will never rent from Northwest Apartments again. Living here was utter hell.

The good: Crestwood Apartments have a great location. Right in the heart of Fremont, very close to…read morebus lines and all kinds of great places. Also, the west-facing views are amazing. You can see the Olympic mountains, sunsets, and much of Fremont. The bad: the building is old. It has terrible sound insulation: if your neighbors are home, you'll probably hear them. If they're watching a movie or throwing a party, you'll feel like you're partying right there with them. On a quiet evening or morning you can sometimes hear your neighbor's phone vibrating (!) The resident managers are meh. They have posted a note in the laundry room that tenants should call the maintenance company directly if a washer breaks. You also can't reach them on the phone, their posted number goes straight to voicemail. They prefer to do all their business over email and don't seem to like meeting their tenants in person, which kind of defeats the idea of having a manager on-site. This becomes a very real problem when you're preparing to move out (read on for more on that). They do usually follow through on repair requests though. Now, the ugly. Crestwood is managed by Northwest Apartments, which I urge you to look up here on Yelp and elsewhere. That company is *very very* shady. They have a reputation for not returning the security deposit after the tenant moves out, and charging them even more money for "damages" actual and made-up (including ridiculous ones like "broken toilet seats", and unbelievable numbers of burnt-out lightbulbs. Once that happens to you, you're out of luck. Practical advice: document the hell out of the condition of your apartment before moving out. Take lots of photos and videos. Don't use nails to hang pictures (they'll use a few nail holes as an excuse to repaint the whole unit and make you pay for it. It's actually in their standard rent agreement if you read it carefully. Do a pre-moveout walkthrough with the resident manager. They will play hard to get, not respond to emails, and say they're not around, but you have to insist. Hundreds of your hard-earned dollars are at stake. Good luck Crestwood residents. Enjoy the views!
