Lewis and his wife did another amazing wallpaper job for me. His communication is excellent, and he his attention to detail is great. He is a master paper hanger - he made sure that the pattern on the paper was just right. He really knows his craft and I feel lucky that I found him!
Fair price, great communication, professional work. Look no further, Lewis and Yolanda will get the job done! The proof is in the pudding.
Lewis was great to work with and did an exceptional job. He communicated clearly with us in advance, offered a fair price, and delivered as promised. There are "handymen" who may hang wallpaper as one of their services, but if you really need someone for wallpaper you should hire a professional. Lewis really is the third generation in his family to do this work and that experience (and story) is not easily found. Highly recommended!
My wife and I could not thank Lewis enough for his amazing craftsmanship and his amazing eye for detail. We are very happy with our new bathroom wallpaper. It was a complicated job because the walls were not perfectly even and the pattern required precise alignment. Lewis was such a perfectionist that I can not even find one seam! I highly recommend him, he responds quickly, he's professional, personable, cleans up after himself and well priced. He is 3rd generation with 40+ years experience and his artistry shows
Great work and lovely owners! Unbeatable price! I initially contemplated putting up this wallpaper on my own but am so glad I went with professionals! They were so detail oriented and made sure it turned out great. Can tell they are experienced with various types of wallpaper. So happy with how the mural turned out!
I am incredibly happy that Lewis and his wife Yolanda installed our wallpaper. We knew we had a slightly more complicated install due to the pattern and we couldn't be more thrilled with the results. Lewis and Yolanda deliver amazing results and are an absolute pleasure to work with.
My wife and I hired Lewis to wallpaper our spare room after reading the reviews on Yelp and we couldn't be happier. He did an impeccable job aligning and hanging a complex pattern. You can tell he has decades of experience--he is a skilled craftsman who really knows wallpaper. Lewis was professional from the moment he came over to give us an estimate for the job. He recommended we use lining paper, about which he was absolutely right. He was punctual and worked quickly and efficiently, priming the walls and hanging the lining paper one day and then hanging the wallpaper itself the following day. He also did a great job of carefully cutting around complex molding and our built-in bookshelves--a process that surely would have resulted in the dissolution of our marriage if we had done it ourselves (plan A, quickly reconsidered). Also worth noting: Lewis was able to do the job with just a few days notice and on a weekend that worked for us--which was certainly not the case of others we contacted about the job.
Lewis & his wife Luba run a small, mom & pop wallpapering business. They were able to fit me into their schedule within 4 days of me calling, which was a huge bonus for me. He was also careful to call me back once or twice before the job to make sure i had all the necessary supplies, & still had our appointment on the calendar. He finished the job (just one small wall, 9 feet x 12 feet) in an hour & a half, (an hour less than his estimate). Notably, his quote was also about half that of the other wallpaper guy i talked to. So great guy, great job - not a 5 star review because you must pay in cash, & also as he was walking out the door i caught a couple small adjustments he needed to make before he left.
This is the third time I have hired someone to wallpaper for me and I must say that this job put the other two to shame! I almost want to hire Lewis again to redo the other wallpaper installed by someone else, as he did an amazingly perfect job. I hired Lewis to wallpaper two walls of my husband's Smoke Shop in Brooklyn. The walls were not in good shape and the wallpapers I chose had tricky patterns, and Lewis and his assistant did an amazing job! Seamless and looks perfect. We've already had compliments on the job he did from people walking by (we aren't open yet). . Lewis arrived on time and got right to work. He was also the least expensive of the five places I called to get a quote! Would absolutely hire him again in a heartbeat.
Lewis was amazing! He was prompt, efficient, and so so good at his job. He had installed the same paper before and knew how to do it better than the instructions to make sure the seams wouldn't show. He was reasonably priced. He and his wife were also a pleasure to have in my home for the short time it took them. Can't wait to find more spaces to wallpaper!
I've never had wallpaper put up before, so I wasn't sure who to call. I'm so happy that I found this company on yelp! Dealing with Lewis before he came to do the installation was a delight. He answered messages quickly and was fair and honest. I had Lewis and Luba come to my home yesterday to install wallpaper for me and it looks fantastic! I couldn't be more pleased with the results, and they are really wonderful people in person!
Louis was great! He was punctual and worked efficiently. He and his wife were very kind and the finished product looks amazing. When you are hanging wallpaper you want to be sure you have someone who knows what they are doing and Louis is that guy. We would definitely hire him again!
Lewis just finished wallpapering a very large wall in my living room and I am very pleased with his work! He helped me through the whole process of wallpapering--told me how much to buy, checked with the company to confirm he'd need to line the wall first and then came and finished the job over two days (one for liner and one for wallpaper). He and Luba were very professional--thorough and very pleasant to be around. Left my apartment just as they'd found it. My wall looks fantastic! I'm so happy I trusted Lewis, you should too!!!

Wallpaper is one of those things you *think* you should be able to do yourself. But actually it's not. You need a pro. And Lewis and Yolanda are pros. They are also the nicest people you will meet. I can't recommend them enough. I'm bringing them back to do another room soon! read more

Lewis and Yolanda did an amazing job on our dining nook. It's obvious they really know what they're doing and work with great precision. This is the second time I've hired them. The first was for my daughters nursery four years ago and it's held up great! read more

Absolutely stunning work by a master craftsman. Lewis and Luba (his work partner) were fast, efficient, professional, and just about everything else that's missing from your average contractor these days. It's a family business and it shows in everything he does- he sweated every last detail. Nice guy, too. Would absolutely hire him again in a heartbeat. read more

After getting 3 estimates to wallpaper one wall in my dining area, I chose Lewis because he had the most reasonable price and was able to come on a Saturday. He promised me I would be pleased with his work and I couldn't be happier. He was prompt, courteous, professional and hardly left any mess. In just 2 hours he transformed my wall. I highly recommend Lewis for your wallpaper installation! read more

I hired Lewis and Luba to wallpaper my entryway and it came out fantastic! I love my wallpaper! They were both super friendly and professional and charged me exactly as quoted over the phone. I had originally planned to attempt the job myself, but am so glad I decided to call Lewis, they really know what they're doing. True professionals. Lewis and partner were incredibly proficient and did an excellent job. Not to mention very reasonably priced when compared to the other quotes we received. The paper we chose was a heavy flock material that was almost like a mix between upholstery and cardboard in consistency. Not easy to work with. We also have a lot of wood work and cut outs he had to work around. Very technical job and they pulled it off like champs in one day's work. We're thrilled with the results. As a side note they were absolutely delightful to have in our home. Thanks guys!! read more

I was looking to get wallpaper installed on two walls in my house. I sent a message through Yelp messaging and Lewis responded right away (and continued to do so) with my questions about how much wallpaper to buy, pricing and availability. Lewis and his lovely assistant were able to come on a Saturday morning. They were both cordial and professional. Lewis had been doing this work for 40 years and I was very happy with the final product. He did an amazing job. I would highly recommend his services - 5 stars! read more

We recently hired Louis to install wallpaper in our home and we honestly could not have had a better experience. First and foremost he is a nice honest person, was very easy to communicate with and the costs were extremely fair. As for the work itself, we had a very complicated wall paper pattern that needed to line up seemlessly around brick wall accents and corners and the work is flawless. We literally can not see a single seam and couldn't be Halper with the work and the overall experience. Highly recommend Louis for any future work. read more

We found Lewis and Luba on yelp and are glad we got them to do the wallpaper in our bedroom! They were very responsive, friendly, showed up on time, worked quickly, and the results look great! They did a fantastic job matching the pattern of the wallpaper so it looks seamless, even though our wall wasn't a perfect rectangle. I'm so glad we hired a real professional instead of trying to do it ourselves. We would definitely recommend them to anyone! read more

With only 4 days notice, Lewis and Luba came to my apartment on a holiday weekend, and were incredibly friendly, efficient, and professional. It wasn't an easy wallpapering job - I wanted it hung on a pillar and around a doorway, and the wallpaper itself has a tricky, specific pattern, but the 3rd Generation team exceeded my expectations! We're so happy with it, thanks Lewis & Luba! read more
