Even more concerning, patrons were not admitted until after the match had already started. The situation quickly became chaotic. People who had waited for hours were understandably frustrated, and many were openly voicing their concerns. Groups were admitted one at a time, creating further delays. When it was finally my turn to enter, I was informed that all tables had been taken and that only standing room remained. I was allowed to look inside before deciding whether to stay. What I observed was particularly disappointing: many individuals who had not been ahead of me in line were already seated at tables. I have no idea how they got in but I suspect they were allowed in through some other entrance. After waiting more than two hours based on the information provided by the establishment, this felt unfair and misleading. Most disappointing was having invited friends to join me for the match, only to have the experience ruined by what appeared to be poor planning and inadequate crowd management. The demand for a major World Cup match should not have come as a surprise. If the venue anticipated significant attendance, additional seating, staffing, and clear communication should have been put in place. This was one of the most poorly managed event experiences I have encountered. At a minimum, I believe the ownership should publicly acknowledge what occurred and apologize to the many customers who invested hours of their time only to be left without the accommodations they were promised. The cakes and sausages weren't that bad and the textures were good, but the sauce was just not it. Lastly, the ramen was such a scam. For $15, it was just regular shin ramyeon with some mussels, jalapenos and peppers added. For all the food dishes, the portions were all small relative to the price and were not great for sharing in big groups. The interior was spacious and vibes were decent. The music from the DJ booth was good. The photobooth wasn't working when we visited which was a minus because my friends and I like the photobooths. There's a free and private parking lot next to the pocha which can get filled. Overall, not the greatest experience at this pocha mostly because of the food and drinks and I would probably not visit again.

One of the reasons being that the service at the bar( where we were sitting ) was so bad and it wasnt just exclusive to us. We ended up making friends with all the surrounding guests because wed all be laughing together when none of us could get some service. Anyways , it was sat the 19th. Guy bartender and blonde girl. Both hammered !!! watched the blonde chick take 3-4 shots myself. Guy with the goofy hat couldnt even look straight ahaha. And for some reason that foo seemed to always be f the well with ice ahahah but not giving any of his bar tops any attention. All of us would be staring at him at the other end of the bar as he mustered up enough brain cells to read a ticket, it was hilarious.Wheres all that damn ice going By the way, its not like your bar was getting any drinks !! They are a racist establishment. My friend was having his bday party there and had the back room for his guests. We arrive approximately at 11:07 and we were told at the door by a white door man that they boss is not letting people in as its at capacity. Then we see white patrons being let INSIDE by that same door man who just said the boss said its at capacity, which it was absolutely NOT. Its very sad to see how we were treated. We eventually got in after much talking and damn near arguing. When other friends came as well they were dealt with the same situation! At one point this bald white guy (who was at the same birthday party in an all black TUX as the black birthday boy was wearing a tux too) went to go get his girl (a white woman) who was waiting outside with the rest of the black people and the door man let them in. White privilege at its finest. At another moment a black girl from the same party went to go get her white friend outside and they let her in as well. Again I thought yall were at capacity but yall let these Caucasian people inside that were going to the same fucking party! I've been here about 3 times. Most of my experiences have been very positive. The bartenders were really kind and asked often if we needed refills (which I love! I don't want to track people down for a drink). They have vegan options, not a lot, but hey what they have was great. The chef was accommodating and even put together a vegan dessert that he was trying out. I did have an experience where the service was awful, the bartender had no idea what they were doing, and there were issues with the food. HOWEVER, the GM was super cool and comped us. Since that was the exception and not the rule, and the management took care of it, I will definitely give it another go. With any new business, there's time to work out kinks and you have to be reasonable with expectations especially when people are trying. The tomato basil is amazing by the way! Go try it! I visited this establishment on 6/9 and while I was pleased with the quality of the drinks and the ambiance, I was disappointed by the poor customer service provided by one of the employees working at the bar. During my visit, the employee in question was smoking an e-cigarette and drinking on the job while making drinks behind the bar. Additionally, he took a phone call in the middle of making a drink for a customer, which I found to be unprofessional and disrespectful to the customer. As a customer, I have never witnessed staff conduct themselves in this manner, and I believe it reflects poorly on the establishment. I hope the management team will provide more attention to the training and development of their staff, particularly in the area of customer service. read more

Hand down the best sports bar food I've ever had. This place located in the heart of Hollywood in a shopping center with valet service. The bar who opened just 2 weeks ago already has great amount of guests. The inside decor is kinda like a library, with bookshelves etc on the walls. The food here is to die for, and that's why I will be coming back. Who doesn't like bar food, burgers, hot wings, sliders, ice cream sandwiches, cheesecakes and more. It's a bit pricey bar food but well worth it because it's quality that you'll receive. There's plenty of staff constantly around asking if there's anything you might need. We need one of these spots on the west side, where you go for more than just a fight night or a super bowl - food! read more

Was told about this bar after a ridiculous wait at mama shelter. We walked up and noticed several open spots and plenty of tables getting up and leaving. The male host told us he believed they were "at capacity" and stated he would ask the manager?? He came back and said he was told we'd have to spend a minimum of $200. Legally you're not allowed to automatic add gratuity so I'm sure that's why you're responding to make it seem as though I'm lying, READ THE REST OF THE REVIEWS BELOW - THEY IN FACT DO ADD 18% auto gratuity the servers will even tell you that tip is already included as well. Check your receipts people!!! Weird to lie about that on a public platform when you give receipts to customers that clearly state the auto gratuity. I'll be posting those next. I've been coming here for a few years now, it's always a hit or miss with service. I dont know if it's because 18% GRATUITY is AUTOMATICALLY INCLUDED on all checks so they give mediocre service, but its stopped me from coming at times. I DELETED THE REDT OF SOMEWHAT POSITIVE I WROTE DUE TO THE OWNERS RESPONSE TO MY REVIEW LYING THAT THEY DONT ADD GRATUITY WHEN I HAVE A TON OF OLD AND NEW RECEIPTS SHOWING IT. When the mistake was pointed out politely, instead of fixing it professionally, the server became rude and argumentative. What really crossed the line was the attitude. The server was openly complaining about having to take the drink back and even told my wife that she'd "better have it right this time" because he didn't want to keep running back and forth. That's completely unacceptable customer service. We weren't asking for anything complicated, just a basic correction to a drink order that was made incorrectly in the first place. The rest of the evening followed the same pattern: poor service, bad attitudes, and a complete lack of hospitality. Rather than making guests feel welcome, the staff seemed annoyed that customers expected basic standards of service. There are too many great restaurants and bars in Los Angeles to waste your time and money at a place that treats customers this way. Sadly, the experience overshadowed everything else. I won't be returning, and I certainly wouldn't recommend Blue Birdy to anyone looking for a pleasant night out. The worst service was the server's dismissive and rude attitude, and that alone is enough to keep me from ever coming back.

All good, I don't mind them laughing at my order. Also, I asked for truffle fries. The waiter said "there is a $3 up charge." I said "cool." I also asked for Long Island with pineapple juice instead of Coca Cola. My friend ordered catfish. (It arrived waaaayyyyy after everyone else's food) The third person in our party ordered wings. My first bite of the Philly was a mound of mushrooms and onions. There is a photo below after he took the Philly bc I said I'll keep the fries. You can see a piece of pepper leftover. My fries never came truffled either. The entire order was messed incorrect. There is more, but I'll just stop here. Horrible experience. The karaoke was entertaining. We all sang, but we were hungry. My friends didn't eat their food batter the waiter left it at the bar for 10 minutes while people breathed all over it. That right there was crazy. So...yea it wasn't a good experience at all. The waiter was a sweet guy, but I was hungry and didn't end up eating anything, but French fries.

Service was amazing! 10/10 Lauren and Justin (bartenders) were Friendly, efficient and helpful. They asked if I needed a drink or anything else while I waited for my pizza. They did an incredible job of keeping me company with great conversation, all while helping the other guest too! They sold me on making this a regular spot, I would come back based on their service alone. I couldn't even tell you how long I waited for my pizza because I was just enjoying being there. The pizza was made fresh. They are HUGE, 1-2 slices could easily feed most adults. Amazing crust that is fluffy but also has the "crunchy" outside. Super tasty, cheesy and worth every penny!
