Food was ok. Service was good. They add a surcharge if you pay by credit card. Beer and well drinks are priced fairly. If you order a "specialty" drink including sangria by the glass expect to pay at least $12 for watered down wine with a few small slices of fruit that they called sangria. When we questioned this with the woman who said she was the manager, she got nasty and continued to harangue the bar after we left (I was called by someone I knew at the bar). Came here for the first time today and had a great experience. We sat at the bar as it wasn't very crowded at 2pm. The bartender Justin had a great personality, engaging, and made good drinks, of course. The food was delicious, hot, and fresh. The menu has plenty of options. The prices are fair. The bar was very clean. Plenty of TVs for games. Music in the background. And the ladies room was spacious and clean!!!! As far as drinking goes, this is the place to be in the neighborhood. All the bartenders are friendly and fast, and the food is always good here. Fantastic wings, maybe the best in south brooklyn (though the portions look small due to the big plates they serve them on.) The ONLY thing I don't recommend is the chicken parmigiana, and that is ONLY because my family and I make a mean sauce, and are snobs about other people's recipes. Its OK, but only if you don't come from a family of stuffy italian cooks. Amazing burgers, delicious varied specials, great wraps, a wonderful selection of tap beer, and all the sports you you can stomach (and lotto Quick Draw :)) on all the TVs. Also, an internet jukebox for when you're good and drunk and need to have a group sing along. Doesn't get much better than here. I'm a regular, and damn proud of it. This bar is ok. Granted we stopped in on a Monday night so there was no music at all but football was on the few flatscreen televisions they have on the walls & above the bar. There were maybe 6 other people there so it was quiet & they were playing Jenga at a high top & drinking. At about 12:30 the bartender turned the lights on & made it incredibly known that it was time to go. It's a neighborhood spot to go to when you're in the area which I was & the Peroni on draught was pretty good but not as good as if it was served in the bottle which makes me wonder if they've ever cleaned the tap lines. I'm sure I'd find my way there again when I'm visiting my friend in that part of Brooklyn but it's definitely not a spot to make it a point to make a special point to go to by any means. read more

Used to be my favorite place. Went there at least once a week. Great bar food and prices. NO MORE - they changed the entire menu. Cut it in 1/2 , raised the prices and eliminated all my favorite dishes. No Mac & Cheese, Mussels, no poppers, no small salads - forced to get an entree size, no homemade pot pie, no filet of sole but you can get FRIED fish & chips. I heard other people come in and stated their disappointment as well when they asked for their favorite dish and was told - NO MORE. So I was forced to get a hamburger & fries. If I could give no stars I would! I ordered a $15 cheeseburger to eat in. I don't eat ketchup on my burgers so I asked for a side of mayo instead and the waitress had the nerve to tell me I would get charged an extra $.75 for it. Are you kidding me???? The kitchen has changed and not for the better . How do you mess up a Jack Daniels burger that was recommended to me by the staff? This is a great neighborhood bar and restaurant to come and watch your favorite sports team, eat your favorite comfort foods and relax with a few drinks. They have a great selection on the menu. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich with french fries but you do have an option of getting a side salad instead which is good to know. this place is right near the BF's house, so it makes for a good walk over, get drunkity drunk, and walk home. The food was good, hearty bar food. I was satisfied with the portions ( although a teeny bit pricey for bar food) it was yummy and the service was great. Very pleasant. No reservation, no problem. We were asked to wait 5-10 minutes and that's all we had to do. Excellent food. Great service. Good selections. Prepared well. Chicken pot pie, onion soup and portobello mushroom sandwich were perfect. Next time I'll try the pork chop and the time after that, I'll try the meat loaf. They looked great on the table next to us. An above average bar in an above average neighborhood. Stopped in here for a Rangers game and I was pleasantly surprised to see how much blue had flooded the bar. The bartenders are great and attentive, you won't be struggling to get in an order. As for the food, I didn't order any but everything I saw looked like something I'd eat with my glass of Stella. If you're looking to sit down and eat or relax, this place obviously isn't for you. However, if you want to catch a game and have a great selection of beer it's definitely worth a shot. read more

Great neighborhood bar. Very friendly staff. I started coming here in 2011... fell in love the first time i was there. Great atmosphere to watch a big sports game or even just regular season stuff - they have about 9-10 flat screens give or take. The food is amazing - i would recommend the burger sliders - best ive had, same goes for the wings - absolutely phenomenal The mac and cheese dinner (they have bites too, so when u order make sure it's the dinner) - really good, and the chicken tenders. The prices aren't outrageous either. Now onto the tap beer. They have a great selection... some i can name off top of my head - Guinness, Brooklyn Lager, Stella, Blue Moon, Harp, Newcastle Brown Ale, and all the basics (budweiser/miller) and im sure there's a few i forgot. Came here Saturday night with friends after dinner and the place was jam packed. We did get a bit annoyed with them, since there was an entire back room empty, that they insisted was closed.. Nice to have a clean, new, inviting bar in the neighborhood to join friends or family for some drinks and catch a game or something. Their food used to be amazing but they changed cooks recently and the taste and quality took a turn for the worse. Staff are local people and tend to be friendly which is a plus. Everyone goes there, from in their 20s to 40s/50s. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here but definitely is a good local option for when you want to get out of the house but don't want to travel far. read more

Great neighborhood sports bar! The staff is friendly and fast. Decently priced drinks and wherever you stand by the bar you can watch the game. I was very surprised and happy that they have a seating area to dine in the back away from the bar area. The food is great and also reasonably priced. I'm a cheese lover and i absolutely LOVE the mac & cheese dish (which is is a oniony bacon sauce) and their sliced steak sandwich (which is basically a version of the philly cheese steak). I live around the corner and have been watching these guys since they've opened. Everyday, I see how thouroughly they clean the kitchen. Everyday, I come home and there's always a tempting aroma wafting from that kitchen. I see the menu outside everyday, and there's always something that sounds amazing and original on it. Great service, great food. Went this afternoon to watch a soccer game. Not crowded at all. Lovely decor, and comfortable. Looks like a bar one would find in Park Slope but felt like your neighborhood bar. Plus the mimosas are the cheapest and one of the tastiest I've ever had.
