Then she botched the dye job because she didn't leave the color on long enough -- so she had to do it again. That alone wasted an hour and a half of my day. Then I had to wait even longer because she decided to straighten someone else's hair mid-appointment. Another 20 minutes gone. I paid $360 for tape-in extensions, plus $75 per bundle to install. And guess what? The extensions started falling out after just 17 hours -- not even one full day. I was told they would last 20 days. What a complete ripoff. I reached out to the salon, hoping they'd make things right. Their response? The only thing they offered was a free reinstall. Why would I let them touch my hair again after everything that went wrong? No refund, no real apology, just a weak excuse for customer service. Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else. Danny is always very pleasant, respectful, and makes sure every customer leaves happy, which is why we continue to come back. Unfortunately, when he's not present, there are serious issues with appointment scheduling. On two separate occasions, the other male employee made appointments for us, only to later say he forgot about another client who was already booked. Both times, we were turned away without any real effort to accommodate us. This has been especially frustrating because my mom recently had knee surgery, and it's not easy for her to keep going back and forth for appointments that were supposed to be confirmed. It shows a lack of organization and consideration for customers' time and situations. We truly appreciate Danny and the way he runs the salon when he's there, but the inconsistency when he's not present makes it difficult to rely on scheduled appointments. I hope this issue gets addressed because the salon has great potential with the right management in place.

She was just watching her kid and multiple clients at a time but didn't monitor the solution she was placing on my lashes. I called her and she said to come in so she could redo it which is insane because the last thing someone should do if lashes are FALLING OFF is apply more chemicals. I asked the owner if anyone was available to trim his hair she pointed to the barber sitting across from her trying to brush me off and just get me out the way. I told the barber exactly the length I wanted his hair trimmed in Spanish since he seemed more comfortable speaking in Spanish. He then proceeded to just chop off his hair recklessly and kept cutting. I had to tell him do not cut his hair so much he is going to get it braided right after. He kept cutting his hair it looks like he had no experience cutting hair he wasn't even cutting evenly. He got too scissor happy and ruined my son's hair! My son's hair was a little past his shoulders and all I told the barber to trim a little above his shoulders. I took my son off the chair and went to ask the Braider if she can even braid his hair now and she said no it's too short. She told the owner the owner didn't care they kept saying that's the length I told him when I clearly told him in Spanish what I wanted and to not cut too short since he is getting his hair braided! I really will keep going to Judy's each time I come to NJ. 3 days later and my blowout looks great. Go to Judy's everyone there does a great job.
