Upon return, the person who claimed to be the "manager" of this Hertz location in East Providence, giving her name as Christina showed a complete disregard for treating a customer as a customer. She was belligerent, argumentative, and rude. Refused to provide a clear indication for overcharging for the vehicle upon return, she had placed a charge for an additional $50.00 for "outside washing". Once aware of the overcharging for the rental I requested I be allowed to document the cleanliness of the vehicle upon return. The agent walked outside with me but then refused to allow me to photograph the vehicle and when I brought out my phone she drove de vehicle behind the fenced area so that I could not photograph the vehicle almost injured me with her abrupt manner! I urge Hertz and/or the owners of this location to review video footage of this employee at work.

Not only was he entirely incompetent at his job, but he was also openly discriminatory toward my friend. It was an incredibly frustrating and upsetting experience. I was using one of their rental cars after a fender bender and could smell something horrible from inside the car get worse and worse each day. It was my dog who then ran to the hood of it and fixated on that area which then prompted me to check under the hood. Under the hood was a dead rat. I then called for a simple switch of a car and got put through the most insane run around I could ever imagine. They questioned why I would need a switch after already having the car for a week and it felt like I was being questioned for doing something wrong. There was more back and forth than there should have been about this. All i wanted was another car without a dead rat on the engine. I felt as if he was insulating that I was the problem even though he told me during the conversation that the rental car was sitting in the woods for six months before me so It is obvious where this rat came from. When I first laid eyes on it the bumper was completely off and there were so many severed wires hanging down,it looked like Christmas tree tinsel. These wires lead to cameras and radars and God knows what else. I thought those sensors were gonzo and had no chance at being returned to life. I was wrong - somehow Ed & Co got them to work perfectly. They are obviously well respected in the trade.Ed's estimate could have funded the several cars I had in college and I thought Ins would tear it apart. Nope,their independent adjuster was within a couple of hundred bucks and agreed to pay it immediately . Tara and Kristen ran a great front office and always kept in touch and arranged for me to see the car as it was pulled back together. I still don't get how they pulled it back together, but I guess that's why they are the only shop certified by Lexus in Ri!

They did this back in Oct of last year and the reason I'm posting this review now is because I wanted to give my windshield some time under the elements before I gave my final thoughts. Also for reference I have the sensor thing in the front you can see in the busted photo that dark square. They didn't recalibrate it, they only replaced the windshield so that should show in itself how gentle and efficient they were. I haven't had issues at all with my sensors. The windshield itself is still in great condition and KNOCK ON WOOD no chips or damage. I've gone through car washes, being buried in the snow and the heavy rain we've had the past month. The quality of that windshield I would say is 10/10. I would recommend these guys for your window needs!!
