If you want to know why I wrote this, please read further. Otherwise, stop here and go see George at Christopher Motors. Our car story begins on craigslist... We found a great priced and good looking 2011 Toyota Sienna on a Friday. I placed a call and a friendly man (George) told me to come see it. It was late plus, I told him I would have to talk to my wife about it. That night he sent me a text with the dealership address and asked me to text him if I wanted to go see the minivan. The next morning, my wife and I (with kids) decided to go see it... It would take us about 45 minutes to get there. We called at 1pm and George said that he closes at 1pm on Saturdays but he would wait for us. Sure enough, we got there around 1:45. George greeted us and had even pulled the van out for us to view and take for a test run. George told us that he gets many calls and, even though he did while we were there, we felt like we were treated like his only customers during our visit. The van was awesome and the price was even more attractive. After almost 2 hours, the last thing he did for us was to put the van on the lift so we could check the undercarriage. Not a problem when the customer is #1. We left letting him know that we would take the van. He required a deposit but since we had just gone down to see the van, his deposit simply became an old fashion handshake (the way it used to be). Even more respect for George. The van, being 5 years old (looks like it's 2) did have some issues. George gave us the option of fixing them or taking a credit for them. It was great to have those options. A week later, we were back at the dealership picking up our "new" vehicle. We were in and out in less than one hour... ONE HOUR!! George was very efficient and had all the paperwork done. Thank you, George for saving us time. My bottom line: GO SEE GEORGE at CHRISTOPHER MOTORS. You will not be disappointed. The next time we purchase a car, we WILL go see George. read more

I purchased a car from this dealer back in October. I paid over 6 grand for this vehicle. Since I've had it, it's been a constant headache. About a day after purchasing it, the check engine light came on. I had to get two sensors replaced and a flex pipe. I still have to get shocks, bushings and a new timing chain which will run me about another grand or two. I did attempt to contact the owner to give him an opportunity to address these issues, however, I have not heard back. I have a social media platform with thousands of followers and friends and I will spread the word. I will also be writing a complaint to the better business bureau. Are the reviewers breathing different air than I am, or maybe inhaling something else (and better) altogether? Totally unwilling to warranty or repair anything inexpensive for sale on the car lot. I was interested in a car that turned out to have a bad a/c. Told him to call me back when he got it working. A week later, nothing. He complained about not making money on the cars he sells. Also, when I asked a question or two, he said "I'm busy, do you want to see it, yes-no, yes-no." The night before, I was on the lot, peacefully looking when he was closed. He saw me there, friendly as could be. So fast to turn when I appeared on business hours the next Morning, as he had requested. I don't owe these people a Goddamned living, and frankly, neither do you. P.S., I was there because I quickly needed transportation when my car died, and I was in between business trips. He tried to sell me some overpriced, rusty Corolla, with a ton of miles. Dealers like this complain about the price point, but when lots are full of cars like this, they are just saying not to expect anything for what you are paying, Based on the good reviews, I debated writing this, but my reaction has festered over a week's time. Total waste of my time, which to me, is worth more than the cars on this lot, combined. read more

Bought a used Jeep Wrangler from George a little over a month ago and couldn't be happier. George personally brought the car to get some preventative maintenance done without me even asking before I could take it home. This was not reflected in the price, but was done because it was the right thing to do. I was able to drive the car 750 miles down to Virginia without a single problem, and its still running great. The owner, George, sold me a lemon. He knew the transmission had a serious leak, told me it was sitting for awhile and that's why he was selling it so cheap. I checked the car over, bought it and drove it for 2 weeks before the tranny blew. The car was literally pissing tranny fluid! When I called him to tell him, he laughed that I couldn't do anything about it. He said he "sold the car as is" and that I had no standing to pursue legal action against him. He's a piece of garbage. I had to shovel out another $2000 to have a real garage replace the tranny. The car still has a lot of issues. I need to replace the breaks and struts, minimum. I got a car here a couple months ago. It had a brand new inspection sticker on it. A day later I noticed there were two lights out. A headlight and tail light. Just a month after that it needed a full brake job. How could this car pass inspection with these problems. Easy for them since they do inspections. Don't assume the car is safe and needs nothing just because they put on an inspection sticker on. I will never buy here again and I let everyone I know the same. read more

Called there last week to see about having my car fixed and asked to speak to George, the owner, as I had reviewed Yelp before calling. Unfortunately, I do not agree with any of these rave reviews. I can't agree because he was so rude on the phone to me and LOUD. I had specific questions that he couldn't answer and when I pressed even further, he got more obnoxious and louder. I would definitely not recommend this place based on attitude toward prospective customers. George is the owner and is a great mechanic. he wont add on or do more than you ask or the job needs. When he is done the job is done right at an honest cost. This place is the worst car maintenance place to fix and get a used car. George ripped me off big time!!!! Ever since i have gotten a car repair. There was always a problem within 3 months. I've done timing belts.alternator change, muffler replacements,radiator change. i went in for a problem in December he never fixed the problem and I had to junk my car. he took my whole $500 that I would of got from "cash for clunkers" and left me without money so I didn't have a a down payment to get another car. He also could easily returned the parts. George used to be a great mechanic but i noticed he has changed since they moved in there new building in Warwick.
