Since Roger Williams is part of CarFax, it allowed me to do a lot of research on the history of the car before we even came to see it. We purchased the car that day. Randy was great with providing all the necessary paperwork and went out of his way to get a couple of body trim pieces that were missing. He even replaced the cracked antenna on the roof even though we didn't ask him to do that. He also touched up some paint near the bottom of the driver's door. I waited to write the review because I wanted to see how the car worked out after having it for a while. Well, it's been great. It went on a 4-hour trip with 3 people and luggage and performed admirably. We love the car and will go back to Roger Williams when we need another.

Shortly after the warranty expired my engine began to leak only to find there had been a hole there for some time. Upon speaking with another mechanic, it was found that the engine was carbonized along with the oil pan and parts of the transmission that was also leaking causing clogging. The salesmen were not honest about the previous ownership and care of this vehicle and did not care to mention the damage done to some of the most important parts of the vehicle!! It never came. Our appointment was noon. Nobody spoke to us until 12:20, and only then because my daughter walked up to the desk and asked. That's the one place the system slowed down. Once we were in it, the same high-tech process picked up right where the online quote left off. Christian entered the car's information into the computer, and a buyer approved the $1,700 almost immediately. Not a negotiation. A confirmation. Twenty five minutes after sitting down, we walked out with a check for exactly the number we'd been quoted online. No haggling. No inspection surprises. No "let me talk to my manager." Just a kid's first car, 6 years and 180,000 miles later, turning into a check for the exact number a computer promised us before we ever left the house. If selling a car to them is that easy, that high-tech, that comfortable, I'm curious what buying one looks like. I was looking for a cheap family car that I could trust to commute to Bridgeport, MA in and not worry about being left on the side of the road. I saw a sharp looking car on their lot when I was driving by and decided to take a look. They let me test drive and suggested I take it out on the highway, they were willing to deal, and the salesman even followed me home after I bought the car to help me get my other car back! Oh, can't forget to mention they filled the gas tank for me after I bought it. I had a problem with the battery dying about three weeks after I bought car; I purchased new battery and they reimbursed me for the cost. I have been very happy - I put 23K miles on car in last seven months and have had no major issues. Buying a car has always been a challenging experience for me, as a man I am sure it is easier than being a woman. Based on my experience I would recommend these guys but as always buyer beware. I didn't get the feeling these guys would rip anyone off.
