Bought here after leasing from a few larger dealerships. Sandy motors is a great spot to buy a car! No games, no pushy salespeople, and all the cars seem to be great quality. I don't think I've had a better, smoother car buying experience. read more

I don't know how these people are all so satisfied, first of all they talked us out of the car we wanted by lying and saying it was already sold when it satisfied for weeks later and the one they talked us into is a total lemon. We bought it less than a year ago and since it's a vw we've already put about 5 thousand into..never again. And we're still paying on the loan even though we made a big down payment. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. read more

I have bought many cars from Inskip and was currently in an accident that totaled my BMW . The last couple of years wanted a jeep ,Went to Bald Hill Dodge and sales was aweful. I don't usually name other companies like this but come on a Jeep Dealer vs a dealership in town . I live in town and stopped by Sandy Motors seen some Jeeps lined up out front and thought let me look and what an amazing experience . Bobby ( Sales Representative ) was amazing to buy from ... no BS.... Process was so easy ...very Knowledgeable on the Jeeps . John McGowan ( General Manager ) was amazing easy and quick . Bobby and John go above and beyond for you ... Outstanding !!!! I will definitely purchase again ! Three weeks into being a Jeep Sahara owner and I love it . Thank You Sandy Motors ! read more

I needed to sell my dad's car because he was no longer driving and they were able to give me an excellent price and made the entire process seamless. read more

My son bought his new-to-him gently used 2021 VW Passat from Eric Lunardelli at Sandy Motors. From the very beginning to the end, the process was seamless with absolutely no stress. He explained the pricing and how the dealership has minimal fees. He was upfront and honest about everything. Eric was very easy to work with. I highly recommend him and the dealership for your used car buying experience. read more

Sandy Motors - My son's new VW. - Used Car Dealers Near Me - Coventry, Rhode Island

This is our second purchase at Sandy Motors and it will not be our last. The level of service received each time is always above and beyond. John and Erik both took the time to go over several vehicles and giving us time and space to go over it. Honesty and just understanding of our budget was key in us wanting to buy here. They made it as smooth and painless as possible! Cant say enough how great this team is! 10 out of 10 every time!!! read more

I've purchased several vehicles over the years from Sandy Motors dating as far back as 1988. When I went to look for my most current car, I couldn't help but notice the one star review that a few people left. This was a concern to me because I've seen the level of service go downhill for many businesses. This was surely NOT the case with Sandy Motors! The quality of cars is still top notch, and while my previous salesman Glen has since retired, Steve and new salesman Jeremy have been awesome to say the least! Jeremy was a very polite young fellow, that was very knowledgeable about each car I inquired about. The one question about features he couldn't answer was quickly resolved by Steve. Financing was probably the easiest ever, and was handled by John, the manager. They were attentive enough to my limited time off that Jeremy even bought me lunch while I waited for my car to finish getting prepped for delivery! (Thank you) Needless to say, I am still very happy with the treatment I've recieved at this dealership, and have recomended many of my friends and family theoughout the years to visit them. read more

See all

Bought my sons first car here last week. We had a great experience. Great staff, very helpful. We would definitely recommend

This was my first time buying from a dealer, My family recommended me to check out local dealers in the area, I found a very nice VW Jetta here after stopping over a few days at other places, Steve and John took the time to answer all my questions and John got me approved on my own after another place told me I needed a co-signer. I went in around 10am and was driving my new car the same day. Overall I'm super happy and they made the buying experience very very simple! Thank you once again. I will continue to recommend Sandy Motors. read more

Despite the salesman assuring me that they perform a thorough inspection on their cars before delivering to the customer, the 2011 Jeep Patriot we were going to purchase was provided to us with numerous issues. The first warning sign that not even a cursory inspection was probably done was that a brake light was out. Throughout the course of the first day of driving the electronics randomly turned off and the key FOB would not consistently work. The final nail in the coffin was that the car would not accelerate properly on the high way. After taking the car to DM Tyre I was informed that the car produced a code as soon as it was hooked up, indicated that the catalytic converter needed to be replaced. D&M stated the car should have never been sold in that condition. Sandy Motors never issued and explanation apology, they only offered (their legal obligation) to fix the defect, albeit at hours inconvenient to us. To make matters worse no one working there could negotiate with us without first talking to the owner who was not there and who refused to deal directly with us at the time. All said and done we returned the car and lost a $500 deposit for the luxury or driving it for the weekend. read more

Good prices, honest business practices and an overall smooth transaction makes this a great place to purchase a vehicle. We had our issues but were able to come to an agreeable outcome that benefited all parties. read more

Steve didn't take too long to let me know his thought and aggravation with me preferring to spend my cash on a Honda. You would think he wouldn't be quite so aggravated with me Honda shopping since his lot was selling one for $7,900. He made sure to let me know that it's basically a crap shoot no matter what make and model used car I purchase. So as I am sitting in the Honda making sure the heat and ac work he continued to voice his snide comments towards my preference of make and model of auto I was looking for. He did tell me there was a 30 day or 1000 mile warranty on all their cars. There was a crack in the windshield and God forbid I ask about it twice because I did not hear his answer the first time because of his facemask. Again he was snippy and snide with me and told me they would take care of the windshield. Also he made sure that I understood that cars in this price range they usually just take to auction. I did not understand why he would tell me that. The car had a price tag and was on his sale lot. After he brought me the 3 owner car fax report I let him know I would think about it and get back to him and he continued to chat with my friend about all the different makes of cars he has owned and you just never know which ones will break regardless of the make and model. I started to think that he did not really want to sell this 4 cylinder 2010 Honda at all, but since it was on his lot with a for sale sign and a price and i did stop because i want to purchase a Honda, i asked him the out the door bottom line. He said he would have to figure out the windshield cost and i should call back later. I called back later and there was NO NEGOTIATING the price, it was still $7,900 and NO WARRANTY on this car either. He did mention again how cars in this price range they usually take to auction and the windshield would cost him the $200 he would have come down. I guess he didnt want to sell this Honda after all. Perhaps he wanted it for himself? So odd. I wouldn't waste your time with this place. I did and was insulted to boot. I am sure their is a dealer out there that will take my cash sell me their Honda without insulting me and wasting my time. read more

Here is a recent review that you can trust. After spending a few days looking in the Boston area we found a truck that was just listed online by Sandy motors. We had been on the road all day in the Raynham , and West Bridgewater area looking at trucks without much success so we decided to make the hour and a half run over there. We got there 30 minutes before they closed and dealt with Jeremy and John. This group was the most professional we had dealt with to date and we bought the truck. Have had it for two weeks still thrilled had 2 minor issues they fixed them both no charge. If you are looking for a clean!!! And trust worthy place to buy a car try them out. It's were I am going for my next one too. read more

I'll update my review based on the outcome of out experience. Within 10 MINUTES of picking up a car for my son that cost over $10,000 the check engine light came on. We stopped at auto parts store, they diagnosed it as a thermostat issue. Called Sandy Motors, Glen, was told they need to first diagnose it and they couldn't do it the next day on Friday or the Saturday. We were told to bring car in Monday for repair. Come Monday we dropped off the car at 9:30am, just called and it wasn't diagnosed until 3:30pm!!!! NOW we're being told the mechanic probably can't get to it until tomorrow. Glen says it's a "BIG" job so I look up the actual billable time on this 09 Mini Cooper and its a 2 hour job!! So NOT HAPPY. In fact I'm furious. $10,000 for a car the kid hasn't been able to drive is kind of pissing me off. They certainly could do better with time on repair all things considered. If my outcome is good I'll report it back here. Until then, just beware. ***UPDATE They fixed the car quickly and correctly. So far so good and turns out Glen and Bob are pretty nice guys. read more

Within a day of picking up my 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee I had trouble with the transmission. Of course, it was an intermittent problem so it was hard to diagnose. Finally, five weeks after I bought the car the check engine light went on and we discovered a faulty electronic board in the transmission. I informed Sandy Motors of the problem the day after I bought it as well as when the check engine light went on. Sandy backs their cars for 4 weeks and since mine was diagnosed in week 5 they had no interest in helping me fix the car. They told me they bought the car "as is" from a local auction and it was now my problem. THANKS GUYS! read more

Sold me a beautiful truck... Took over a month for them to do the vin check and fix my broken e brake although I came in twice for appointments and both times the service guy was "out" almost 18 months later my e brake still doesn't work. The under if my entire truck was painted with undercoat which made me think the truck was taken care of but within weeks the undercoat came off and the underneath was a complete rust bucket. The replaced my exhaust as well as I pointed out it didn't look great. The replacement within 18 months is completely rotted through... Sounds to me like they use less than quality parts. Although they gave me a set of all new tires with the truck once I brought the truck to my mechanic and the ford mechanics they both laughed at the fact I had a huge truck and not even truck tires on them. read more

Horrible customer service!!No wonder they sold me car under the kelly blue book!!No one called me back about how to shut off service now on the car I purchase the day before!!They wanted to wait until the warranty expired!! read more

I purchased a car here about a month ago. When I decided I wanted to buy it I asked if they could fix the strut because it was leaking. I brought it back a few days later, and dropped it off for the day. When I got the car back it was obvious they didnt replace or fix the problem and I continued to have more problems with the vehicle. This place does crappy work and doesnt fix things right they just clean it up to make it look ok. THEY LIED TO ME THEY WILL LIE TO YOU. Obviously when you buy a used vehicle it will have its problems but for a place to lie is unacceptable. Make sure you read that your warranty is 50/50 for 30 days they offered to cover another problem that occured on the 30th day of my warranty however I did not feel comfortable giving them my business. Maybe if you were honest I wouldnt have wrote this horrible review. Thank you for the stress and agrivation I am really looking foward to buying/installing new suspension components this weekend!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH SANDY MOTORS!!! read more
