During the meet-and-greet, Erica took the time to get to know Kira and her routine and preferences. For example, Erica asked about Kira's favorite toys, and where she might hide. When I am away, Erica sends daily text updates and pictures, which puts my mind at ease. When I return home, Kira is happy and relaxed. The litter box is clean, and her food, and water fountain are full. Erica's reliable, attentive, and loving care make my trips much more enjoyable because I don't have to worry about the care Kira is receiving. Kelly leaves a little note every day with the time she arrived and what they did during her 15 minute visit. She is also very understanding and accommodating when I need him walked longer (30 minutes) or at a different time of day. In order to not be charged for a cancelled visit, you need to provide at least 24 hours notice, which is sometimes impossible because, hey, life happens. I understand they have a schedule to work around, but I wish there were 1 or 2 "freebies" for cancelling with less than 24 hours notice (or at least only charge half for 12 hours notice). That being said, I know my dog is in great hands while I am at work, which is extremely comforting. I would recommend Wagabout to anyone who is looking for a dog walker in Bethesda or surrounding areas!

It was easy to schedule a "meet and greet" with Amy and Andrew, who are visiting our two dogs (a quiet 9-year old and a 5-year old with attitude; both sighthounds) about 3 times a week. Since then Amy and Andrew have taken care of our pups for the past month or so. They are both responsible and have the kind of calm personality that all dogs feel comfortable being around. They've followed all our instructions, provided very detailed updates and pictures, and taken good care of our doggies. So far I am very pleased with the service. We love our dogs like children and feel good about entrusting Amy and Andrew with their care.

After numerous attempts to remedy this, they decided (Customer Service Agent Becca) to cut me and my dogs loose. I contacted them to give them "NOTICE"; that I would be looking for another service. I am a senior citizen wtih Dystolic Heart Failure. What a way to treat a senior citizen.. Terrible service... And the owner, did nothing, even though on her web page she states "If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with our service, we will correct it right away and offer a money-back guarantee". During out consultation, she spent the time to tell me how to set up crates and potty train my pup. I was completely overwhelmed with my new 11-week old puppy, and her advice was spot-on. Between her advice and dog walking, he has turned into a well-trained puppy. Jackie makes sure I understand any commands that she's working on with him (and vice versa) so we can both enforce his training. This has helped him pick up basic commands a lot faster. It's a great feeling to come home one day and your puppy finally understands sit when he didn't get it that morning. I've used this company for both dog walking and overnight stays. People (lovingly) tell me that I'm a helicopter doggy mom, and I trust Jackie 100% with both of my munchkins. Typically the best part of my work day is getting pictures of my pup or a funny story about something he did that day. Jackie has continually provided exceptional service for both my pup and cat. She is great with them, and continues to give great advice. She works my puppy hard to get out his energy during the day.
