was in the mood for some fried pickles so i took my kids and wife out to try this place for the first time. when we arrived the bartender greeted us and told us we could sit any were. after seating down we waited patiently for service but no one ever came, we were hungry and i was already upset so we decided to walk out, the place wasnt even busy so i dont understand why the service was terrible. took my money and family someplace where they had better service. i do not recommend this place. read more

Great crawfish! Very clean! They put enough boil in the tray so they stay warm and or dry out! The corn and potatoes were also tasty

We decided to stop here on our way down the highway to another restaurant. It was early and no other diners were inside. The restaurant look clean and well laid out. We were seated immediately by a very nice and attentive waitress. The menu had a lot of variety that was typical for a place like this. We started out with the "highly requested" (as stated on the menu) fried pickles. The pickles were fried in a tempura style batter which I don't care for. They were also very greasy (the plate had grease on the bottom). My daughter ordered the 3 mini burgers that were on the lunch special for $7 (?). They were pretty good. I had a craving for the chicken fried steak for $9. It was ok. It didn't have much taste to it, but it was fairly tender. The cream gravy didn't have much of a taste to it and tasted a little watered down. Overall, I would say our experience with 36 Bar and Grill wasn't terribly bad. Since it's out of the way for us it probably won't be one of our regular stops. However, I wouldn't have a problem trying it again. read more

If you're coming in for drinks and appetizers it's good. The regular menu items not so much lately. I ordered the special (chicken Parmesan) and it was just their chicken fried chicken with sauce and overloaded cheese. Lots of money for hit or miss taste. read more

We just drove back into town from the weekend and decide stop in before going home. We walked in at about 6:30 on a Sunday evening. The place was not crowded and had plenty of available tables. We stood at the entrance for 5 minutes and NO ONE even acknowledged our presence. That is just bad business! We have eaten here and called in many times before. Subpar food for subpar service at ridiculously expensive price. It's honestly hit or miss, but more misses than hits. It's a restaurant in a strip mall and nothing more. When it was 36 Bar and Grill it was much better. Calling it pub is a complete misnomer because it's nothing like a pub. The menu fairly limited and if you want an over priced cheese burger in a strip mall environment knock yourself​ out. Just be prepared to wait a long time for your overpriced cheese burger. Or just go to Rosenberg to a restaurant with attentive staff and good food, and prompt drink service. The prices at Rosenberg restaurants​ vary comparable. Additionally, their website menu doesn't reflect the actual menu in the restaurant. They have a Facebook page that rarely posts what the daily special is. They also don't answer their phones. This happens far more than it should. I really don't blame the employees at all. They seem to try to do there best, but it seems management simply doesn't care, creating a revolving door of employees who don't seem happy at all. read more

I love the drink specials here & the bartender is really nice! My favorite foods are the crawfish, cheeseburger, & the purple onion rings with jalapeno ranch!!! They started having live bands. Its a great friendly atmosphere! Keep up the good job! read more

Service is really slow. We waited over an hour for our food, and all we had was burgers and chicken strips. No one seemed to know what they were doing. We had two different waiters and then they got confused about the checks. Food is okay, but not worth the wait or the hassle. read more

I visited here for the first time the other day. I left disappointed. I was in the mood for seafood and ordered the Catfish Plate. Yum, right? No. I mean this is Needville ,Texas. You're thinking cornmeal battered crispy filets of catfish. Try 1 slightly over-cooked piece of catfish, And as a side a spoonful of dirty rice from a box! And about 5 tiny, dry hush puppies as side #2. I was horrified at the presentation. I expected maybe a lemon slice or two with, I don't know, cocktail and tartar? I did request cocktail sauce which was very good. Our waitress was MIA after the food came out. I ran out of drink about 3 minutes into the meal and was finally able to flag her down at some point after I had finished eating. I asked for a refill and she asked if I wanted it "to-go". The food I had here was quite good. We all had some version of burger and the waitress was very nice. Also, stopped in here to check e-mail (free wi-fi) and they brewed a fresh pot of coffee for me. The waitress was super sweet and the time gave me a much needed internet fix. read more

I stopped in on our through town and decided to get a bite to eat. Our waitress Ashley Almazan was awesome and friendly. The best part was we didn't wait very long for our food. Service was good. We will definitely return and hope Ashley will be our waitress again. read more
