We were immediately seated, however no one EVER returned, so about 20 minutes in someone from our group attempted to get the servers attention (she was at the bar) she gave him a rude look and said "I'll be right with you " as she continued to talk with other people who worked there. Where to begin ?! I was in search for a venue to host my boyfriend's 30th surprise party, and came across 333 Lounge through a friend. I was immediately amazed with the level of professionalism. Erwin the owner walked me through a couple of package options for my boyfriend's birthday, and he ensured that his staff met all of our guests needs. I was able to get the back section of the lounge exclusively for my guests, which I recommend because it's very cozy and intimate. We ordered jerk wings, thai wings, and codfish cakes for appetizers. Codfish cakes AMAZING! The wait staff were extremely efficient with serving our guests and cleaning up the area. They were also able to provide us with platters for cupcakes that I had catered as well. The DJ played a great variety of music and everyone had a blast. You know how they always say you can never go wrong with ordering chicken and waffles off a brunch menu. Wrong. I ordered this dish and was highly disappointed. What should have been chicken wings turned out to be three small pieces of chicken tenders, barely seasoned. The waffles were soggy even before I put syrup. Amazing service and staff. Food was also super bomb. We had initially planned to go to brunch at woodland and the sweet chick but both had 1-3 hour wait times. Then we noticed a little sign advertising bottomless brunch and karaoke ! So I personally was confused as to why we didn't choose there first lol. We were sat right away. Met with friends to watch the game. Atmosphere was nice. DJ was good. Our waitress was friendly and looked out. One draw back tho, they kept messing up my order and it took long to fix. Said they were short staffed. They did comp a drink for the delay, which was nice, but I was kinda hungry and my friends that showed up much later than me got their food and I was still waiting? Went outside for a quick smoke and then they tried to make me pay a cover to get back in..? To add to the frustration, I had to argue with the bouncer inside to get the guy to understand that I was already in there and had just stepped out for a few minutes. I asked the bewildered security professional at the door if I could speak to the promoter or manager as I was interested in holding a gathering of 50-100 black professionals for my 40th birthday. Security guy 6ft tall with dreds twisted into braids told me I had to pay $20. After telling him in not even interested in coming in, I just want to speak with someone that makes decisions, he said I would have to go to the bar and ask for someone...but in order to go to the bar I would have to pay the $20 dollars. There was additional requests that were ignored. After looking through the window and seeing there was no vibes(2AM) and majority of the crowd dry and undesirable to the eyes, I decided its best to go with my other options. So...this story is a but interesting. I give 4 instead of 5 for the reason below. My friend and I were in Park Slope and really had a craving for chicken and waffles. We saw the sign for a pre-fix brunch menu at 333 for $20, so we decided to go in and see what's tea. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by the host and seated. We immediately noticed how warm it was (it was 90 degrees that day & the doors were wide open). It took forever for our orders to be taken, amidst conversation; I noticed used cups on the table... still no server. A larger party that came in after us and seemed to get service before us. ‍ After waiting, getting our complimentary drinks (my mimosa was pretty good!), our orders were taken. I ordered the chicken and cinnamon waffles. This was the breaking point!! It took over an hour for our food to come out due to some incident in the kitchen. Our server (who's actually the reservationist) came to speak to us about 45 mins after our order was taken to explain the situation. When we finally got our food, which was very good. This place has been on my list of restaurants to try for at least 6 months now. However, after attending on Friday I regretted ever spending my money here. It's not the food, drinks, or atmosphere that is an issue- it's the service that is DEEPLY lacking. In fact the food and drinks were quite good!! Initially I had a different bartender who was pleasant and attentive- no complaints about her. But a soon a her shift was over my tab got transferred to a different bartender named "Pumpkin" (the receipt said Nadeshka though, so I'm assuming that's her actual name) and it was ALL DOWNHILL FROM THERE. She spent the majority of the time I was there talking with her cousin at the end of the bar and taking shots with her. When my friend arrived to join me at the bar she sat with no acknowledgment/water for a while until we asked for menus again. Before she could finish placing her order pumpkin kept interrupting and saying "is that it?" When we finally got the order to the table we asked for water again --to which she responded " I always give water when guests get their food" why should a guest have to wait until you're done talking to your cousin/ the food arrives to receive water on a hot summer day?! My friend and I both had plans to stay and enjoy the evening there but after we realized we'd be stuck with Pumpkin we decided against it ASAP. When I tried to redeem the welcome coupon that 333 lounge offers for first time diners through their website Pumkin had an issue with that too. Telling me that since I didn't eat a full meal I couldn't redeem the drink coupon (which isn't listed anywhere on the coupon) then when I proved that those stipulations weren't listed anywhere she tells me "well I'm just gonna give you a free drink instead" at which point I was done drinking and I no longer wanted to be in the establishment. She kept saying " well it's only a few dollars off, you might as well take the drink" After stressing that I did not want the drink she took the discount off the check and made it a point to let me know that "Auto gratuity is already included" with a smirk as though to let me know there was nothing I could do about the terrible service I received. I didn't protest however I know that any mention of auto gratuity being included should be listed somewhere on the menu or wall behind the bar so that guests know BEFORE the receipt gets put in front of them that they have to pay for service that they didn't ever receive. As someone who has been in the hospitality industry for 13 years myself it takes A LOT for me to write a negative review online or to be worried about an employee getting auto gratuity but Pumpkin was really that bad and interacting with her ruined the entire experience read more

I came here on a Saturday night with my cousins who were visiting from out of town. It's not that big inside. There was a large crowd (for the space) but we still had space to sit down. The drink prices were decent. My cousins and I agreed that they tasted watered down. There was only one bartender, but she moved quickly taking and making the drinks. The DJs were good and played the latest dancehall, hip hop, afrobeats and soca. It was just annoying that they rotated so many times and continuously replayed the same songs. There's so much new music out to be hearing the same song 4 times within an hour. I had my birthday brunch here this passed weekend and had the time of my life. My friends and family loved the food and enjoyed themselves so much, their anticipating to go back. I had a party of 20 people and everything went so smoothly. I was able to reserve our tables using the company's email and when I tell you they were so prompt with replying. Prior to coming I still had questions and the manager Wayne was very helpful. Our waitress Tiffany was amazing. The entire 333 staff made my birthday an amazing experience. On our 4th round of drinks, a young lady (not wearing a mask) approaches the bar and attempts to sit on the stool that was occupied by my friend who was in the bathroom. I informed her that the seat was occupied. She didn't budge. I expressed to her that she was not adhering to the 6 feet policy and she needs to move back some. She didn't. I continued swaying to the music, but noticed she was literally on my ass! I asked her again to move, and she decided to call a man over to the scene. He obviously seen that she was wrong and attempted to calm her down. Words were exchanged between us and she was removed from the establishment. A few moments later, the guard came back to me and asked me to pay my bill and leave also. The nerve! 2 hours of peaceful fun. Hood bugger comes in and ruins our night and we get kicked out?! I've never been kicked out of any place in my entire life! After speaking with the "owner", his scary ass said she was threatening to bring a gun back so he wanted us both to leave. Bullshit. Security told us straight up that it's a $3 coat check before we did anything. It's a good thing he told us cuz not a lot of people walk with cash now a days. We visited Saturday October 30 around 10pm and there was a Halloween celebration happening. There was a $10 cover charge for women, which could be paid via cash or cash app. We opened a tab and ordered a round of drinks for a party of 4 at the bar. I went back to order another round on the card my friend opened (her personal card) and the bartender was absolutely rude. Typically, one informs the bartender that there is an open tab that you would like to place the drinks on. I did just that and her tone, body language was deplorable. I will never return.
