The cake itself was dry, the icing was sloppy, and the whole thing was crooked - all to the tune of over $300. When Wendy delivered the cake she mentioned that it had "shifted" in transit, but I was having my hair done at the time, so I was unable to get a look at it before she left - not that seeing it then why'd have fixed anything. Later she was tagged in a wedding photo of the cake the clearly showed the tilt, and when people pointed it out, she dismissed it as an optical illusion. She claimed that it only "looked" crooked because of mirrors flanking the cake, though she had earlier admitted to me that it had shifted. She then untagged her business from the photo so that it would not appear in her photos. I've never addressed the issue with her as I just assume not deal with the "optical illusion" defense that would only make me more bitter over the whole thing. However, I would always recommend that people go elsewhere for their cakes. In this case, I truthfully believe I would have been better served with grocery store cupcakes on a tiered display.

My bagels were very soft and fresh! I did ask for them to be toasted and they weren't. The bagels were very chewy so it would have been nice to have a crunchy texture to the bagel. My daughter's lemonade was refreshing and tart. I didn't get a chance to try her sammy but can anything with prosciutto be bad? It was neat stopping into this local coffee joint. It's darling and cute. If I had my own spot, I would probably have a similar spot. You're going to find some sweet treats and good drinks here. I enjoyed my drink very much.
