The establishment is pretty straight forward restaurant. No frills, simple seating and excellent service. We've been twice, so this time I'm giving them my review. First off, the chip are good, but they could use a little salt right out of the fryer. They serve their salsa in a little decanter and they include little sides of pepper jack queso. The salsa has a little bite, but great flavor. We had the tacos de carnitas on our first visit. They were delicious. They were simple, soft corn tortillas, plentiful meat with chopped onions and cilantro in a side container. I added a little queso and salsa and they were bomb. The unexpected surprise was their rice and beans. The refried beans were very flavorful and I'm not one to eat the rice at Mexican restaurants because a lot of times the rice is not fulling cooked and/or bland. The rice here is perfect and I love it. It's fluffy, flavorful, and excellent when covered in queso. Our next visit, my wife got the same entree, but I got the chili rellenos with shredded chicken. First off, the peppers were large and tasty. They had a little bite, but they did have way too many seeds. They really needed to be de-seeded before cooking. The shredded chicken was surprisingly well seasoned and very good. I'm not sure I'd get them again with that many seeds. We also had their guacamole and it was slightly above average. We are definitely making this place a regular go to when we desire great Mexican cuisine. You won't be disappointed coming here. read more

Went to get a rice and beans, and a large guacamole which I was most excited for. They are 10 miles away from me. Got home, checked my bag, saw no guacamole! Called them and they said to come back and get it, and that it's sitting in the counter!!! Like what?! I told them no, yall are far away. I will come get it tomorrow. They said sorry and good bye. I went to pick it up and didn't offer anything, when I wasted my time, and gas to get there! Give me a free drink of something! Anyways, other times it has been fine, so I give a 2 star. read more

My impression of 3 Tequilas is that, it is a reliably consistent, good OkieMex restaurant. We drive by a couple of times a week. The parking lot is packed at noon and is never vacant through the afternoon. That was the case today. We were in at 3pm. The restaurant maintained a steady population of 8-10 diners, coming and going, over the hour we were there. The hotter salsa was my favorite. A small tasty cup of queso comes with the welcoming serving of chips and salsa. My wife went with a beef taco salad. Fresh lettuce, tomatoes and cheese hid a massive serving of perfectly seasoned ground beef. The flour tortilla shell was light and crispy, without being oily. Very good meal. I went for the Camarones a la Diabla. Although having a nice flavor, it was as I expected, simply a tomato-based ranchero sauce. The Diabla was a weak one. With help from 3 Tequilas hot salsa, the heat came up a level but still less than a respectable la Diabla would take pride in. This meal; loaded with the shrimp. Good sized shrimp and many of them. I ate shrimp until I was full, gave two shrimp to my wife, and finally gave up leaving three shrimp on the plate. Although the Diabla sauce was average the shrimp were not. The shrimp were hot in temperature, cooked perfectly. They had the desired snap in each bite, not over cooked. I enjoyed the shrimp! Good beans and rice. Great fast service! This is a rough review for me to write. Went here on Memorial Day for dinner & I know it was busy, so I'm trying to not write our experience of as terrible. But it was not a good experience. We sat down pretty quickly despite it being busy. Ordered drinks to start & I'm pretty sure we got forgotten about. So much that we didn't even get one of the drinks until we were done eating dinner. We kept reminding staff & they said oh yeah yeah. We will get it. & then food came without drinks. We ordered the La botana appetizer which looked to be highly recommended on their menu. It was not good. Sent it back, hardly touched. Our meals were really good. So I'll give this place another try, but my first impression was not great. read more

Went here on a busy Saturday night towards the end of the night. The restaurant looked a bit like a tornado had come through and there was a horrible smell which seemed like something had burnt. Although the service was friendly, the server wasn't too attentive. The Top Shelf margaritas were watery and lacked flavor (tasted like water down tequila). When I was handed my plate it was extremely hot and I got a little burnt. I wasn't given a warning even though the waiter himself had potholders. The highlights were the chips, salsa, and queso and the Enchiladas Verde which were delicious. Most likely will not be returning. read more

My wife and I have avoided 3 Tequilas for a couple of years due to a bad experience. Tonight we decided to give it another try along with two other couples. The food and drink were average. Nothing overly impressive except the portions. The margaritas were very large and tasty and the beef, chicken, and shrimp dish I had lacked flavor but left me plenty to take home and 'fix'. The restaurant was crowded so it seemed quite noisy with people waiting for a table overcrowded the cash register which made it difficult for our party to exit after we had to wait for someone to take our payments. The glaring problem occurred when the other two couples in our party received their meals and my wife and I were left for a lengthy time without our order. We watched people receive their orders who had arrived at their tables 15-20 minutes after we ordered. Finally, we stopped our waitress to inquire and was told our order was being prepared!! 10 minutes later our order arrived. Our waitress mentioned the manager was aware of the delay but we received no apology much less a complimentary meal. This lack of customer service is unacceptable and might keep us away for a few more years. read more

My son and I visited here on February 5, 2022 around 2pm. They were moderately busy with it being a Saturday and all, however, we were sat in less than 5 minutes. We got the standard chips and salsa and to my surprise they even provided to small sides of queso for no additional charge! Service was quick and efficient everything came out hot! I ordered the Shrimp Taco Salad and my son got the lunch Fajitas with chicken. There was PLENTY of food! I really really wanted to give this place 5 stars, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit but there was an issue. I'm a pescatarian which is why I got the shrimp taco salad. As I dug into my food, I noticed a protein that should not have been there. I dug 3-4 pieces of chicken out of my Shrimp Taco Salad. I was very glad to have looked at my food first. I picked these pieces out and put them on my son's fajita plate. He ordered the chicken fajitas. The service was excellent and everyone was friendly. I'll still come here again, but I do think they need to be a little more careful when it comes to their quality checks. Some people have dietary restrictions and expect only the ingredients listed to be what's served. read more

This location is subpar. We usually go to the Brookside location but our friends live closer to the BA location. When we arrived on Thursday night, the hostess looked at us like we were a nuisance and disrupted her conversation with the other hostess. The other hostess brought us to a table that had food crumbs all over the seats. My fork also had food residue on it. At the Brookside location, every Thursday they offer $3.99 house margaritas. I guess this location does not. The service was super slow. We were a party of 5 and went through a basket of chips real quick. After asking for a refill, the waiter proceeded to bring out 2 baskets. Our food took forever to come out, but it still tasted good. I will stick to going to the Brookside location. I'm not even sure if both locations are owned by the same people because at the bottom of the receipt, it mentions to visit the Edmond location. read more

My home girl turned me & My Guy onto this place! They brought both queso and salsa with our chips. Score! We had a round of margaritas (theirs was on the rocks with a salted rim, mine was frozen with a sugar rim) & ordered the nachos from the appetizer menu. The nachos came in such a large portion, it screamed "Share me, share me!" All food groups were covered on the nachos. Healthy eating, right? We up sold ourselves sour cream, to round them out. Arrrriiiibbbbaaaa! While travelling through the area, the hotel front desk clerk gave me a hot tip to try this place out. I have eaten A LOT of Mexican food, and almost always order fajitas. I ordered the chicken fajitas with onions only and they were the best I have ever had. The portion was enough to feed 2-3 people, a huge amount of food. Even the rice and charro beans were amazing. The chips, salsa and white cheese sauce were amazing. No wonder there was a line out the door and the parking lot was so packed people were parking in the vacant field next to the restaurant. The location is 71st andMidway. Well, I'm sorry the other Jon B had a bad experience. BUT I am very impressed. I had the Chile Verde. It's made with very tender and delicious carnitas. The tomatillo sauce was great, although I wish it had a bit of heat. Awesome meal. She had the tamales, covered in a delicious mole sauce. Awesome. The service was excellent! Not a huge fan sadly. The staff was friendly and such, but the food did not taste very fresh. I ordered the top and salad and it was very basic. I guess that's what I get for ordering a taco salad, but I thought it would be a little bit better. The shrimp cocktail, however, was fantastic. The back patio area was really nice, but we went to look at the chimnea to possibly use and it had trash all in it. That was unfortunate because it was a nice night to use it. read more

We love this place! My husband and I are regulars to the broken arrow location.The staff is so nice and welcoming the manager is the most kindest person ever! My husband always gets the chimichanga and I usually do the pollo queso but we decided to switch it up and ended up with a tremendous amount of food! My steak was so salty I couldn't eat a second bite, the enchiladas were just so-so. The 2 ordering tacos said they were good but average. Nobody wanted to take leftovers home. Drinks took forever as did other service, refills weren't offered until one of us hunted down our wait staff. Had to hunt them down again to get our check. A man did come by and apologized, offered to have something else sent out for me but by the time he came over, everyone was finished and ready to go, so he comped my order. This wasn't a super busy night for them. There was a large and loud table with kids in tow...kids were running between tables, parents enjoying their drinks too much to care.
