We have ordered take-out from 3 margaritas a few times in the past few years. It's easy to order online and you can even order for a specific time later in the day if needed. They do offer many promo codes or coupons if you sign up for the notifications and honestly, who doesn't like saving money? It's a very popular spot for carry out orders because whenever I go to pick up y order, there are usually at least 5-6 other people picking up their food as well. Sometimes the staff has difficulty finding your order, but just be patient, they will get it to you eventually. That's what happened last night. One of the hosts was looking at the orders that were ready, but said he couldn't find mine so he went to the kitchen and then came back and told me they were working on it. But then a few moments later, another person came to help me, and they found my order on the table already ready to go and packed up. Once I got home, I plated the food and reheated some of it just because we needed it to be piping hot for dinner. It reheats nicely and they do keep things mostly separated so that hot and cold items don't mix. It's a good spot for lunch or dinner and I am glad it's right down the road so that we can order for a quick and easy pick up when the craving hits. read more

I genuinely don't understand how this restaurant has such great reviews because our experience was the complete opposite. From the moment we were seated, our server acted like waiting on us was an inconvenience. She was cold, unfriendly, and came across as bothered every time we asked for something. On multiple occasions we requested items, and she either ignored us completely or took so long to return that we eventually just went without. Once our food arrived, she never came back to check on us. No "How is everything?" No refill offers. No asking if we needed anything else. She disappeared for approximately 30 minutes, and the next time we saw her was when she asked if we wanted boxes and the check. Ironically, I've never seen someone move so fast as she did when it was time to bring the bill. We paid, and then she disappeared again without so much as a thank you. As someone who spent years serving tables in a corporate restaurant, this experience was especially frustrating. I was taught that great service meant being attentive, checking on your tables, anticipating guests' needs, and making people feel welcome. I worked incredibly hard for my tips and was grateful to earn 15%. Today it feels like some servers expect a minimum 20% tip while putting in a fraction of the effort. Customer service seems to be disappearing, and unfortunately our experience at 3 Margaritas reflected exactly that. The food was decent, but the service was so poor that it overshadowed the entire meal. We left feeling like we were inconveniencing the staff simply by expecting basic service. Tucked away in a strip center this extremely clean and well kept restaurant wax a perfect spot for lunch. They have a varied menu, full bar, lunch specials and kid friendly. The beef chimichangas was filled with plenty of beef and covered with lots of melted cheese served with beans and rice. Chips weee warm and crisp and salsa was very tasty. Service was friendly and very efficient. If you're in the area and wanting some tasty Mexican food this is a place to try. read more

Update...I went in this morning, and was able to resolve the situation. I'm happy with the outcome and will consider dining at 3 Margaritas again. It's unfortunate that I have to write this review for a small business. I asked for the $10 posted special, and had a surprise of $49.16 on my bill for 27oz flavor. I was completely caught off guard as I had two line items on my receipt for drinks (I only had one drink). One item was the $10.00 frozen special the other for $49.16. I love supporting small businesses, but will not visit 3 Margaritas in the future. read more

My system for judgement of a restaurant is pretty simple. I either had a good one or a bad one. I see this place has three stars. My wife and I came here in part due to having a doctors visit near here. We went when it wasn't busy. Around 12:30 on a Wednesday. As far as service goes. It was quick, we were immediately sat at a table, within minutes the waitress came, brought us drinks, and really was doing what you expect of a waitress to do. If you want to know the vibe of the place, it's pretty colorful on the inside especially the chairs & tables. Of course like a lot of Mexican restaurants they had some Spanish type music playing in the background. Nothing crazy loud or anything. Now if we're talking food, the food came out hot & was exactly what we ordered. I ordered arroz con pollo but here at 3 Margaritas they do it slightly different. They just don't give you a plate with a big portion of Arroz con Pollo but they also give you a side which included a mix veggie. My my wife ordered Jose's Chicken which to me is arroz con pollo but Jose's Chicken comes with warm tortillas, refried beans, and rice. All in all it wasn't bad at all. My only negatives are slight, and more so related to the actual restaurant. One is, on your way to the restrooms in the back against a wall is a bunch of random supplies regarding like toiletries & cleaning supplies. I think they should have a place alone for that kind of stuff. Two, it's kind of poor placement for when you go to pay at the register it's right by the entrance. I can see when it gets busy it getting congested. Third, is they only have one kind of hot sauce I do believe and it's Chalula. My last issue really ain't even an issue, but they have candy dispenser at the entrance & one of the candies is Raisinets! It was empty but I was thinking like who in the haberdasheries & hemoglobin eats that out of a dispensary?! I prefer em fresh in a box myself. I just thought it was a weird candy to have. Jose Solorio, As a 3 margaritas customer from day one I feel i need to reach out after last night's dinner service. My family and I came in for dinner at about 6:45 PM We had a young lady for a server that I had never seen before. We had an extremely simple order And she still had a hard time. One deluxed fajita and 3 waters. Our food took a long time come out which is very out of the ordinary, It was also about 50% green peppers And only 2 shrimp, this is also not normal for this order. We never received our drinks and when she brought the food she did not bring any plates. She asked if we needed anything and I said yes we need drinks and plates...... She just gave me a blank Look. After a few minutes I had to get-up-and-go to the register and And let the other Hostess know that our server was having problems and we had not gotten drinks and we were not given any plates with our food. She went off to get our server and our server came back with ONE plate for 3 people And we still didn't have any drinks. We finished our meal and I went up to pay, Your father was at the register and he asked if everything was OK. I let him know the problems we had and he just chuckled... As a Hospitality server trainer for more than 12 years, I don't find this amusing at all. He had no concern whatsoever for the problems that we had during our meal. read more

We were not sure if we want to come here because of the reviews. But coming on a Friday night with two kids and two adults we were able to get in and sit down without any weight. Our drinks came about a minute after we ordered so that was really fast. Then we had to order. Well that took no time at all we ordered and within five minutes 5 to 10 minutes the food was out. It was hot and it was really good! The kids enjoyed everything and we did as well! Our waiter was amazing. He was kind and patient with the kids and also offered recommendations to some things on the menu. there was parking that was easy to get to, and the prices were not bad at all! Ive been here countless times and have not had a bad experience ever. I usually order one of the same two entrees when I visit. The service and timing is always good. A little longer wait on a busy weekend but not so much longer. The waiter we usually have when we go is always friendly and knows I want an Horchata every time I come in lol. Nice atmosphere. Came here for lunch break on a Thursday. There were 2 other customers already seated. I stood for 10 minutes waiting to be seated. A waitress, seemingly the only person working, waited on someone body already seated. Saw me standing and waited but took there drink order, came back with their drinks, went back to the kitchen, came back with their chips, took their food order, went to the kitchen to put it in before coming to ask if I wanted to be seated. After being seated, another 2 people came from the back. Took my order. Food came quickly but then no site of my waitress for the next 45 minutes. The day started at a sharp 7:00 am in the morning. It was a regular day, roll out of bed, make breakfast, and head to work. Work was chill, got all of the things I needed to do checked off my list. A friend and I decided we'd reward ourselves with our hard days work, and grab food at 3 Margaritas. Upon arrival, 6:45pm sharp, with adequate parking near the front, we made our journey in. The atmosphere was very welcoming and comfortable, as if stepping into a genuine and authentic Mexican restaurant. We were quickly seated and given chips and salsa, which I'd rate an 8/10, very good. The service was also very well, giving us our needed time to scan the menu, yet without staying away for too long as to make us wait. After ordering, our food was delivered quick and hot, but not a "quick" where quality is bad, but a "quick" as compared to your average Walgreens pharmacy. I had ordered the fiesta nachos, and a fiesta is what it was, a fiesta of flavor. It was very delicious, and I had devoured the entire thing like your dog would when you drop a piece of food on the ground. Overall, I'd say 3 Margaritas is a 4 star experience, especially for the price is such a horrendous economy. I'd rate this place a 23/30. read more

Not impressed with this place at all. To start with my friend was struggling to get her baby's stroller in the door and the hostess stood staring at her instead of kindly holding the door. We also over heard where a to go order was done wrong and instead of replacing it for the customer they argued with her and said if she wanted a replacement she would have to pay for it. The server did not keep up with drink refills and we waited over 20 min just to get the check when we were finished eating. The food - bland to say the least the cheese sauce on my burrito was really runny and had no taste. I hate to give only 1 star to any restaurant but if I could give no stars I would. Nope. Higher prices. Lower quality. They changed their salsa to a far poorer version than it was a few years ago. The steak I had was tough and chewy. The Chili con Carne was cold in the middle. And last but not least, the place smelled very strange as we walked in. I cannot point out what it was but it was not pleasant. BUT the chips were good. :) It is a terrible shame as this was a good place for us to go to when we lived in this area. As we are just passing through, I am glad I have better options in my area. Tired worn and lacking any flavor. Gone are the days of the only Mexican restaurant in Fenton packed with people. Jose' father knew how to run a well-established restaurant with amazing atmosphere and great food. I remember going here in high school and you had to wait to get a seat. His father and mother were always there to greet you and put a smile on your face. Things have change, and not for the better. The salsa was more like crushed tomato's with a few specks of cilantro and tiny onion. Asked if they had a spicier salsa and was brought hot sauce. The cheese in my chili relleno was still solid in areas and the tamales seemed as if it was pulled from the freezer. Service was outstanding, but our waiter could not make up for the lack-luster meal. There are many other Mexican restaurants in Fenton. I strongly recommend visiting one these establishments. I picked up a to go order & went straight home (9 min). The food wasn't even luke warm! I got there early & waited so it wasn't because I was late picking it up. They put the taco & tostado in the same container as the chile relleno so the tostada & taco were ruined (soggy) from the sauce on the Chile relleno, see pic. Like I said the chile relleno was cold so it was trashed the same as the tostada & taco because it had sauce on it so I couldn't put it in the air fryer to warm it & crisp it up. My friends and I had lunch at 3 Margaritas yesterday. I just wasn't thrilled with it. Their prices are very high for the area and the quality. Some of the premium Margaritas are $18. And they aren't worth it! Just really sweet concoctions that don't taste at all like alcohol. The restaurant itself is kind of dirty feeling and the tables and chairs were crammed all together. The food was just ok. I liked the salsa and chips but the queso was pretty tasteless. We ordered the appetizer sampler but the quesadillas were greasy and the meat portion was small. Queso fundido served with the sampler was good, spicy and plentiful. They also had some yummy shrimp. But for 2 Margaritas and an order of fajitas, $38 is way too high.
