This place cares about the quality of their tea. Most places that have matcha it's pretty sub par but 3 Leaf is top notch.

Lucy is very knowledgable and attentive to detail in preparing an excellent cup of matcha (and other tea for that matter).

This place is so cute and the ambiance is lovely. They have a market with local foodie items. They…read moreserve Gimme! coffee, but they don't know quite what to do with it. When I asked the barista how many ounces of espresso went into their lattes or ameicanos, they didn't know, and then explained that they just press buttons. If I wanted coffee made by buttons, we could just go to Starbucks or McDonald's. It hardly justifies $5 for a latte, which should ideally be made by a person. That said, the my coffee tasted great. Unfortunately, my friend ordered an americano. When I saw the barista pumping a thermos into his cup, I asked them what they were doing. They said "Oh, we pre-make it so it's easier for us." I didn't know that coffee shops are made to be easier on the purveyors. And they clearly don't know that within 15 minutes, the precious and delicate and delicious qualities of espresso disappear. I'm still shocked by their response. Also, his Americano wasn't hot as most of those thermoses don't keep things hot enough. But at least they didn't have to stress, which seems a large concern considering no one else was in the place. Ugh.

My personal favorite: a vanilla (did i mention their syrups are HOMEMADE????) breve. My favorite breve in town. SECOND OFF: the food? local, fresh, made right. Also for those days when I can't really be around the public: amazing food to-go! Also very vegan-friendly. THIRD OFF: the goods! the variety! whether I want local honey, some kombucha, local cheeses....milk, lassi even! pastas, spices, just visit and see for yourself. FOURTH OFF???: the homemade baked goods (best kept secret: theyre $1 after 5 pm). I live for the chocolate croissants. FIFTH OFF: super fun weekly drinks! My favorite so far: Thai iced tea. SIXTH OFF AND MOST IMPORTANT: every single employee that works there is incredible, welcoming, loving, I consider them my cafe family. Truly. I refuse to leave this apartment if it means taking me further from Pure! For now, I only have to walk downstairs for dreams come true.

I hate to write a negative review, as this review is solely based on one employees poor attitude who it seems has received negative reviews on other platforms. There are numerous other issues, but it is solely you who caused this review. In the Cafe industry some standards should be set, you have to have good coffee and employees who are kind and respectful to customers. To complain the majority of the time you are working and say no sorry we don't do that to nearly everything that is at a typical cafe is not sufficient to be a barista. If you are asked to use a smaller size cup or for a drink to be not filled to the top, that should not be an issue. Respect goes both ways, and disrespect will not get you anywhere. Here are some things that NEED to change. Espresso is brewed into glass, not the steel canister used for milk. Steaming milk is not a set it and forget it while the steamer vents off into an unattended mixer. Americano's are made with steam, not hot water from the faucet. Fresh breakfast Sandwiches are not ones that sit in a plastic container rotating under a heat light for the entire day. When a customer walks in an empty store, they should not have to wait while you unload a box and restock shelves. To be a barista you need training as there are standards and methods to brew individual drinks. Whoever owns this place needs to learn themselves how to actually be a barista and train the baristas on how to actually make proper espresso, americano, cafe latte, etc. Do NOT advertise fresh made breakfast sandwiches for the garbage you have rotating in plastic containers for eight hours. Step your game up, this place is absolutely pathetic as it is. Soon someone will open a decent coffee spot to sit and drink if standards here are not changed. To the younger women who work here your customer service is excellent. Thank you for being kind and friendly. I've come here a few times in the past few weeks, and after dealing with the rudeness this morning I will not come back.

Riverbend Coffee - Great little seating area, but it doesn't stop here! There are plenty of tables/seating, and the whole store is very cozy.

The inside is very clean they have tables and a dining room area to sit and enjoy your food, and they recently opened up their outdoor patio to enjoy some fresh air while enjoying your food. The bathrooms are clean and the kitchen area is clean too. The service was excellent . I've been here three times since visiting Auburn, New York and every time the service has been amazing. The staff was quick to take our orders. They were quick with preparing the food, and they all worked as a team communicating, and helping each other. I saved the best for last, let's talk about the food! I got an everything bagel, toasted with scallion cream cheese, red raw onions, and fresh tomatoes. I also purchased a cinnamon scone for the road. All their pastries are made fresh as well as the bagels. They have a regular menu of the most popular bagels and they always do a bagel of the week. This week was a chocolate bagel. They also have gluten-free bagels. You can do breakfast sandwiches, they have specialty sandwiches. They have a large variety of flavorful cream cheese spreads. In addition to serving pastries and bagels, soups, salads they also serve a variety of beverages. In conclusion, Auburn bagel Company, as they say "A Schmear above the rest!" if you're visiting in the finger lakes area then you must try Auburn bagel Company, I promise, you will not be disappointed! Tony the owner and I had a very nice chat about bagels, lox and New York City!. Prices are in line with other scratch made bagels in the Syracuse area and they also mix their own spreads. I had a plain bagel with smoked salmon, scallion cream cheese spread, tomato, red onion and capers.there was a generous amount of spread and salmon and capers. They have hot coffee, tea and hot cocoa and a case full of cold drinks of all kinds. I had my breakfast with a nice cup of English breakfast tea and ordered 1/2 dozen bagels for take out.
