Chicken Teriyaki Ramen
Karina M.

Three Go Sushi has become one of our favorite spots in Escondido. It's one of those little hole in the wall places that doesn't look like much from the outside, but somehow always ends up being exactly what you're craving. The service is consistently great. They always make us feel welcome and this time they took care of us even though we came in right before closing. We ordered three sushi rolls, but honestly they never stood a chance. We ate them so fast I completely forgot to take pictures. If you're a sushi fan, get the Dragon Crunch Roll. It disappeared from our table in record time. We also ordered the house special fried rice, chicken teriyaki ramen, beef and chicken yakisoba, and the Korean popcorn chicken. The fried rice was packed with flavor and had a little bit of everything. The yakisoba was delicious, the ramen was comforting, and the Korean popcorn chicken was perfectly crispy with a nice little kick. It also came with miso soup, salad, and rice, which was more than enough food. Nothing here is overcomplicated. It's just good food, good portions, and genuinely great service every time. When we're trying to decide where to eat, Three Go Sushi is usually the answer. We'll definitely be back. Hopefully next time I'll remember to take pictures of the sushi before it's gone.

I have been here several times, with the first bring on a day when it was a bit chilly and i was craving some ramen. There is not really a large selection in Escondido for ramen, and I'm always in the lookout fur a good one. This place is in a large plaza with ample parking, and it wasn't too busy during the weekday lunch hour. I ordered the black sesame garlic ramen with pork. It really it hit the spot, as it was a huge portion, and the broth was very flavorful and warm. The pork was tender, and there was a good amount of it. I ate half of the bowl and took the rest home to enjoy later. It was about $16 for that particular Ramen, and the have about 4 or 5 different options. I've also been back here for the sushi as well, and thought it tasted pretty good. If i go with someone I like to share a bowl of Ramen and 1 or 2 sushi rolls for variety. The have a lot of different options and they also do poke bowls which is on my list to try next. I think this place is worth a stop for sure. The service is also good, and everyone has been nice and attentive on the occasions I have gone.

Roll Combo Lunch Special

3 Go Sushi is conveniently located right across the street from the Center for the Performing Arts, which makes it a solid stop before or after a show. The parking lot is big and easy to navigate, so that's already a win. Walking in, the ambience is dark and cool, but still very casual and comfortable. I went on a Saturday and was pleasantly surprised that they still honored their lunch special prices. Love when a place doesn't skimp just because it's the weekend. The lunch combos were reasonably priced and came out pretty fast. My favorite item was the lemon spicy tuna roll with salmon on top--it was fresh, flavorful, and had just the right amount of kick. That little burst of citrus really made it stand out. The menu has a great range, from traditional rolls to more creative options. I'd be curious to try some of the Korean option next time - the tofu soup with gyoza looked really good. The fish tasted fresh for the most part, and the miso soup hit the spot. However, I did find a hair in one of my rolls, which knocked down the experience a notch. I understand things happen in kitchens, but it's hard to overlook. That being said, everything else we had was good, so I'm hoping it was a one-time fluke. I'd be willing to give it another try.

Just had a bento box for dinner and this is the salad they served. Look like it should have gone in the trash days ago. When people are paying good money to eat from your restaurant. Don't serve this for a salad! Plus no dressing! Not that I ate it anyway. Will be going somewhere else next time!

Our first time to 3 Go Sushi was a wonderful time with friends. We enjoyed a variety of rolls, nigiri, and sashimi with our hot sake and Asahi. The sushi boat was a fun touch as well! Even on a Friday evening before a concert next door, we still received good service and quality food. Cute, quaint, fun!

1st timers at 3 Go Sushi. Located in Escondido in a small shopping center in same parking lot as Regal 16 Escondido. Customer service and food was good. Venue appears to be an older establishment that could use some attention and TLC. We ordered: Beef Teriyaki - bulgogi style beef, very good Salmon Nigiri - very fresh and buttery and delicious Fried squid - NOT calamari, more like squid sticks Kraken roll - good flavor but, messy roll Ramen - ramen and pork was good but broth was a bit salty

My favorites, Kama, Sashimi, Steamed Veggies. Friday nights can be busy because there's a weekly farmers market venue that includes outdoor vendors, and music. (4pm - 8pm). Our party of two waited about 20 minutes on a Friday night with no reservation. It was quite busy that day with many other tables waiting to be sat. There are a lot of options on the menu, ranging from cooked items to sushi and rolls. After placing our order, it took only about 10 minutes before we received the first dish and everything else followed. We ordered a roll the sashimi set a hand roll and also a bowl of ramen. Their salmon and engawa was tasty, but I wouldn't say their fish is the freshest or have much flavor to them. Unfortunately, we had an issue with our spicy tuna roll (there was a piece of metal found inside). I'm sure it was just overlooked. But service was very friendly and accommodating. They immediately remade our roll and also provided some complementary dessert. The service here was quick and friendly. I appreciated it given how busy the restaurant was.

We got the garlic edamame, which was a nice and generous appetizers to split for 2-3 people. We also got the dragon roll, spicy tuna roll (which was ACTUALLY spicy), and the salmon avocado rolls, as well as the salmon nigiri. All of the food was delicious and very reasonably priced, and worth the trip. Additionally, a huge thank you and kudos to the staff for being so kind and warm about our excitement watching the World Cup matches that we're playing while we were eating. They were very sweet and understanding, and didn't rush us at all, which made it much more enjoyable to take our time and savour the food and the game. Overall this is a great spot to grab sushi and enjoy some quality time with friends or family, and I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a good Japanese and sushi restaurant!

It was Sunday night and we were driving back to Escondido from Anaheim. GPS says they close at 9:30 PM. We roll in at exactly 9:05 PM. Place still had customers inside, open tables, and two hostesses literally started walking us to a table. The male host said, "Last call is in 10 minutes." Cool. I jokingly ask, "For alcohol?" because I wanted TWO damn sushi rolls, not a 12-course feast. He says with a smile, "No. Last call for food and everything else." Okay... easy day. We already knew exactly what we wanted. Simple order. In and out. No biggy. Then came the look. You know the look. The "damn it, I want to go home, why did customers show up during business hours?" look from management and the sushi chefs. Next thing you know, manager says we cannot be served. Wait... what happened to "last call in 10 minutes?" Suddenly now it is, "You missed last call at 9:00 PM." It was 9:06 PM. So your establishment closes at 9:30 PM... but actually closes at 9:00 PM... but also has a last call in 10 minutes... but also refuses service? Got it. Crystal clear. Listen, if y'all want to leave at 9:00, then change the damn hours to 9:00. Do not advertise 9:30 and have people driving 70 miles just to get hit with attitude and false hope. So we walked out and went somewhere else. Being turned away wasn't the problem. The problem was being treated like customers showing up during YOUR posted business hours was somehow our fault. Change your damn hours to 9:00 pm then. Do better!

We looked at all the sushi in SM and my husband gave Ahi a chance. We called it in for pick up, they quoted 20 minutes but I had to wait an extra 15 minutes for it when I got there. They were a little busy. I got the chirashi bowl, my husband got 3 rolls, and we ordered a kids meal came with Teri chicken, cali roll and potsticker. Honestly the sushi wasn't bad. It's a notch higher than sushi deli IMO. Their chirashi bowl, for the price was a great deal. The only fish I didn't like was the tuna, it was tasteless, probably previously frozen too. The others weren't bad. We also judge sushi by their California rolls, and they made it right. The best deal is the kids meal. My little boy ate it all! Even the roll.
