    Roll Combo Lunch Special
    Amanda C.

3 Go Sushi is conveniently located right across the street from the Center for the Performing Arts, which makes it a solid stop before or after a show. The parking lot is big and easy to navigate, so that's already a win. Walking in, the ambience is dark and cool, but still very casual and comfortable. I went on a Saturday and was pleasantly surprised that they still honored their lunch special prices. Love when a place doesn't skimp just because it's the weekend. The lunch combos were reasonably priced and came out pretty fast. My favorite item was the lemon spicy tuna roll with salmon on top--it was fresh, flavorful, and had just the right amount of kick. That little burst of citrus really made it stand out. The menu has a great range, from traditional rolls to more creative options. I'd be curious to try some of the Korean option next time - the tofu soup with gyoza looked really good. The fish tasted fresh for the most part, and the miso soup hit the spot. However, I did find a hair in one of my rolls, which knocked down the experience a notch. I understand things happen in kitchens, but it's hard to overlook. That being said, everything else we had was good, so I'm hoping it was a one-time fluke. I'd be willing to give it another try.

Just had a bento box for dinner and this is the salad they served. Look like it should have gone in the trash days ago. When people are paying good money to eat from your restaurant. Don't serve this for a salad! Plus no dressing! Not that I ate it anyway. Will be going somewhere else next time!

Our first time to 3 Go Sushi was a wonderful time with friends. We enjoyed a variety of rolls, nigiri, and sashimi with our hot sake and Asahi. The sushi boat was a fun touch as well! Even on a Friday evening before a concert next door, we still received good service and quality food. Cute, quaint, fun!

1st timers at 3 Go Sushi. Located in Escondido in a small shopping center in same parking lot as Regal 16 Escondido. Customer service and food was good. Venue appears to be an older establishment that could use some attention and TLC. We ordered: Beef Teriyaki - bulgogi style beef, very good Salmon Nigiri - very fresh and buttery and delicious Fried squid - NOT calamari, more like squid sticks Kraken roll - good flavor but, messy roll Ramen - ramen and pork was good but broth was a bit salty

The food is wonderful and the service is wonderful and the ambiance is clean and amazing. I would recommend their food, service and amazing and friendly staff.

    Hola Roll

My favorite roll here is the Hola Roll. I love the house spicy sauce that comes on this roll. The tangled mango roll is good... really, all the rolls here are good. They have some options for Saki. Recently we've been on a nigiri (unfiltered) kick. They serve it here. The service here has always been good. They get a lot of to-go orders and things slow down a bit, but the drinks stay full and the servers are very kind. Five stars for a great menu, good food, and good service.

We got the garlic edamame, which was a nice and generous appetizers to split for 2-3 people. We also got the dragon roll, spicy tuna roll (which was ACTUALLY spicy), and the salmon avocado rolls, as well as the salmon nigiri. All of the food was delicious and very reasonably priced, and worth the trip. Additionally, a huge thank you and kudos to the staff for being so kind and warm about our excitement watching the World Cup matches that we're playing while we were eating. They were very sweet and understanding, and didn't rush us at all, which made it much more enjoyable to take our time and savour the food and the game. Overall this is a great spot to grab sushi and enjoy some quality time with friends or family, and I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a good Japanese and sushi restaurant!

It was Sunday night and we were driving back to Escondido from Anaheim. GPS says they close at 9:30 PM. We roll in at exactly 9:05 PM. Place still had customers inside, open tables, and two hostesses literally started walking us to a table. The male host said, "Last call is in 10 minutes." Cool. I jokingly ask, "For alcohol?" because I wanted TWO damn sushi rolls, not a 12-course feast. He says with a smile, "No. Last call for food and everything else." Okay... easy day. We already knew exactly what we wanted. Simple order. In and out. No biggy. Then came the look. You know the look. The "damn it, I want to go home, why did customers show up during business hours?" look from management and the sushi chefs. Next thing you know, manager says we cannot be served. Wait... what happened to "last call in 10 minutes?" Suddenly now it is, "You missed last call at 9:00 PM." It was 9:06 PM. So your establishment closes at 9:30 PM... but actually closes at 9:00 PM... but also has a last call in 10 minutes... but also refuses service? Got it. Crystal clear. Listen, if y'all want to leave at 9:00, then change the damn hours to 9:00. Do not advertise 9:30 and have people driving 70 miles just to get hit with attitude and false hope. So we walked out and went somewhere else. Being turned away wasn't the problem. The problem was being treated like customers showing up during YOUR posted business hours was somehow our fault. Change your damn hours to 9:00 pm then. Do better!

She's always attentive throughout our entire dining experience and makes us feel well taken care of without being overbearing. She has such a warm friendly personality, and it's clear she genuinely enjoys what she does. As for the food, we like to try different rolls each time. Some of our favorites so far are the Escondido roll, Dynamite roll (definitely one of our top picks), Dragon roll, and the asparagus tempura roll. We'll sometimes add a spicy California roll too. On colder days, I love getting their miso soup or spicy tonkatsu ramen, you can even switch out the protein for an extra charge, which is a nice option. My husband usually goes for the chicken katsu curry, and I really enjoy the beef yakisoba or the teriyaki salmon. So if you're in Escondido definitely give them a try!

If waiting were an Olympic sport, this restaurant would be taking home the gold medal every year…read more I've given this place chance after chance over the last year, hoping each visit would be the one where everything finally clicked. Instead, it's become a masterclass in patience. The employees seem to have discovered the secret to unlimited break time because every visit they're either in the front or the back enjoying conversations while customers stand around wondering if they've accidentally become invisible. When I judge a sushi restaurant, I keep it simple: miso soup and a basic roll. If you can't make the opening act exciting, I'm probably not sticking around for the encore. Unfortunately, the miso tasted like someone waved a seaweed packet over hot water and called it a day, and the basic rolls had all the excitement of eating cardboard with a gym membership. Then there's the outside food policy. Apparently, if your toddler dares to nibble on a chicken nugget from next door while the rest of the family orders sushi, the Food Police are ready for action. You could walk in wearing a tuxedo made of hundred-dollar bills and order the entire menu, but one tiny bite of outside food? That's apparently the culinary equivalent of a federal crime. The strange part is that the restaurant actually has potential. The problem isn't the building... it's the complete lack of urgency. Watching customers wait while staff casually chat feels less like dining out and more like watching a sitcom where everyone forgot they're supposed to be working. After a year of giving this place more second chances than a reality TV contestant, I'm officially done. If you're in Escondido, do yourself a favor: spin around, point in a random direction, Google "sushi near me," and you'll probably find a place where the staff remembers customers exist. I genuinely wanted to like this restaurant. Unfortunately, the service disappeared faster than the flavor in the miso soup.

After placing our order, it took only about 10 minutes before we received the first dish and everything else followed. We ordered a roll the sashimi set a hand roll and also a bowl of ramen. Their salmon and engawa was tasty, but I wouldn't say their fish is the freshest or have much flavor to them. Unfortunately, we had an issue with our spicy tuna roll (there was a piece of metal found inside). I'm sure it was just overlooked. But service was very friendly and accommodating. They immediately remade our roll and also provided some complementary dessert. The service here was quick and friendly. I appreciated it given how busy the restaurant was.

Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures, but the food was beautifully presented, and the inside was casual, clean, and simple. I was going to get traditional ramen, but at the last minute changed my order to the Mazesoba (a brothless ramen) as it was a special, and sounded interesting. I also ordered a spicy tuna onigiri, and my friend ordered the BST ramen and karaage. The onigiri was pretty good and I enjoyed it as an appetizer. The Mazesoba was very interesting since it's a "dry" ramen and then you add vinegar to taste. Once you've eaten your way down to the "good bits" of meat, herbs, and sauce at the bottom of the bowl, they give you a little side of rice that you can then mix into the deliciousness left over and it basically creates a new meal! I found that part super cool, and thoroughly enjoyed this second iteration of the meal as leftovers the next day. I LOVED the broth in the BST ramen (and I'm not a broth person), and it almost made me jealous that I had not gotten it myself. To finish, we split a raspberry and lime tart, which was beautiful and perfectly light. The service here was also prompt and friendly, which I always appreciate.
