If you're craving a soul-warming bowl of ramen in North County San Diego, Ramen Mik is a must-visit. From the moment the steaming bowl lands on the table, you're greeted with an inviting aroma of rich broth and perfectly cooked noodles. The miso broth I ordered was outstanding--deeply savory with a balanced, slightly creamy texture that clings to every strand of noodle. The noodles themselves were springy and perfectly chewy, a true sign of a kitchen that cares about technique. Generous toppings of crisp vegetables, tender slices of pork, and a marinated soft-boiled egg elevated every bite with layers of flavor and texture. Service was quick and friendly, and the modern, casual atmosphere made it easy to relax and enjoy every slurp. Portion sizes are generous without being overwhelming, and the ingredients taste fresh and thoughtfully prepared.

I heard about this place from Instagram. The food vlogger raved about their ramen here, so I had to try it while I was in the area. We ordered the brussel sprouts, onigiri, katsu curry, and the Me So Delight ramen. The brussel sprouts are deep fried, but it wasn't crispy like I had expected. Flavor is good though. The onigiri was good too. I can't remember which one we got, but it was pretty basic. The katsu curry was delicious. The meat was tender and juicy, and the curry was perfect. It's one of my favorite comfort foods, and it did not disappoint. The ramen was so good. It was probably one of the best I've ever had. The noodles are handmade and had a good bite to them, not overcooked and mushy. The broth was so good, not overly salty. I was sad I couldn't finish my entire bowl. Overall, great food at reasonable prices. Definitely a place to try! Finally, an Instagram review that wasn't just hype!

I didn't think there would be a good Japanese restaurant in Escondido but I was wrong. The place is nice but beware when asking for anything extra, we got the bad experience that we noticed the ramen didn't have enough soup so we asked the waitress if they could add more, she didn't know and said she would ask then, a few minutes later she came with more soup and said nothing. To our surprise she charge the extra soup and it was 60% of the price of a full ramen dish, that is unacceptable specially considering she didn't mention that it would cost extra and the price is so high. If you come be careful and ask if anything they bring has an extra cost. We ordered: ME SO DELIGHT RAMEN KATSU CURRY Ginger Pork For the bad experience I reduced a star but the food was good.

Delicious ramen joint in Escondido! Finally, I do not have to travel all the way to Convoy for good ramen. Located in the McDonald's shopping center. The restaurant is colorful & casual. They serve a variety of ramen flavors & they have a chicken & vegetarian options too. They also serve other Japanese dishes such as Katsu Curry, Onigiri, Gyudon Bowl (which I am planning to get next time!) & more. BST: My fav ramen! Super flavorful & creamy, & a generous portion too.

Very good Japanese ramen spot in Escondido! Our favorites are Me So Hot and Me So Delight Ramen. The noodles, ramen egg and sliced pork were all perfect and good quality. The miso-based soup is rich and flavorful but a little too salty for me. The soup had a bunch of cabbage pieces, but I like cabbage so I didn't mind. The soup and pork didn't smell like pork at all and very easy to eat. They have THE BEST gyoza! (pork dumplings) I like them well-done and crispy outside. So good! I crave their gyoza and want to go there just for gyoza. Karaage fried chicken was overwhelmingly garlicky but tasty otherwise with crispy outside and juicy inside. Nice and fast service. Clean, simple and modern decor. The tables were too close to each other so it's not a place to talk about your secrets. ;)

My wife and I stopped here on a chilly evening for what we hoped would be a cozy ramen date night. Unfortunately, it turned into a very disappointing (and honestly gross) experience. We ordered the chicken karaage as our small plate and two bowls of ramen -- Me So Hot and Me So Delight. The karaage came out first, which is usually our go-to appetizer. We've had this dish many times at other places and never had an issue... until now. The chicken was pink on the inside. Not slightly underdone -- visibly raw. The batter was also thick, slightly wet, and the chicken itself wasn't even hot. I was so disgusted that I forgot to take a photo before calling the server over to ask if I could speak to a manager privately. What I was told made the situation even worse. The server said they've had several complaints about the chicken being undercooked and that the owner told them to tell customers that they "use baby chickens." What?? That explanation makes absolutely no sense. Deep-fried chicken should never be pink, regardless of the size of the chicken. Yes, they did compensate us for the karaage, but that doesn't change the fact that it was unsafe to serve and extremely off-putting. As for the ramen, the broth was very light compared to what we're used to. I understand it's miso-based, but it lacked the depth and richness we expected. Overall, this experience left us uncomfortable and disappointed. Food safety should never be questionable, and the explanation we were given was unacceptable. We won't be returning.

Ramen was decent. Comes with one piece thin pork chashu and egg. I wish the egg was jammy or soft boiled but both of ours were already hard boiled and I even took it out of the ramen as soon as it came (to give to my son). The noodles were nice and chewy. I LOVE extreme/tons of garlic and liked the BST at first but this flavor was overpowering after a while. I didn't like the gyudon. It was just sweet and more so than the beef flavor. (For reference I never liked Yoshinoya here too much but I loved Yoshinoya in Japan.) The geso karaage was delicious and I wish we had 2 orders of it. We tried their other location a while ago and didn't have the best experience (both food and service) so we wanted to give it another chance. Service was friendly here and quick, but not sure we'll be back.

Ramen Mik located in Escondido in a shopping center where parking is ample. Customer service was good and food was good as well. Noodles were cooked to perfection and broth was good. I liked the fact if you order the "Me So Hot", the heat factor which is the (spicy bomb) is on the side so you can control how hot you'd like your ramen. We ordered: Me So Hot ramen - DELISH Me So Delight ramen - DELISH Geso Karaage - AMAZING squid legs cooked to perfection with a light crispy coating. Mik's fry - good Onigiri Rice Ball (salmon) - Delish

Authentic ramen spot in Escondido, specializing in Hokkaido-style ramen, known for its rich miso-based broth and stir-fried vegetables. The owner, Sachi, was incredibly sweet and our waitress Bella, took the time to explain the menu. I brought my friend Chi, who lived in Yokohama, Japan, for over 25 years to put it to the test. Her verdict? Legit. The broth was flavorful, hearty, and authentic! Sorry ate too fast didn't take the before photo.

I've tried their location in San Marcos first, but when they opened this spot, I went to check them out, since it's a bit closer. This location has more options like onigiris! We shared a bowl of ramen, a bunch of onigiris, spam musubi, the tonkatsu/pork cutlet, and an order of gyozas. For drinks, we enjoyed the ramune and bottle matcha. I loved everything we ordered! The food is delicious and authentic. I heard they might be opening up another location down south, so I'll be waiting hehe.

OMFG Ramen Mik is hella bomb!!! Ordered the Shoyu Ramen and the fried squid legs -- flavor explosion in every bite The broth was rich, savory, and absolutely soul-warming, and those squid legs? Perfectly crispy with the juiciest bite. Joanna, our server, was the absolute sweetest and made the experience even better. Highly recommend this gem if you're in the Escondido area Came straight from an epic Lotus Moon Gathering up in Temecula and this was the perfect way to close the night #FoodieHeaven #EscondidoEats #RamenLove #ShoyuRamen #FriedSquidGoals #LotusMoonVibes #SupportLocal The space is hella cute and I'm going to try the matcha next door next!

Was waiting for my vehicle being serviced at a nearby dealership and decided to grab some lunch. Highly rated on Yelp and decided to give it a try. Impressive decor and very clean/organized. Service was very friendly. All off to a great start. Decided to try a healthier option with Jidori chicken and a warm comforting broth. It was just that and the portion was perfect as well. Attention to detail + attentive and friendly service. If you are looking for ramen in Escondido, I recommend Ramen Mik.
