Must be nice to turn away business. 3 Day Blinds was very professional. We had three visitors: the initial sales person, a person to double check the window measurements, and the blind installer. Throughout the entire process, we were assured that items and work were guaranteed and that we should be patient because of delayed shipping times. We previously ordered from 3 Day and whilst the blinds are great quality, the customer service is awful. Whenever we tried to call our Customer Success Representative, she was unavailable. She also wouldn't respond to our emails. The only time we'd hear from her was when there was an update, such as our blinds being delayed. Despite the poor customer service, we needed to finish covering all of our windows, so we placed a 2nd order. We ordered 6 blinds. The seller, Shirley, really didn't seem to want to be here. She spent most of the time talking about the show homes and higher end properties that she does. It very much felt like we were beneath her. I paid 50% deposit and was told they'd contact me to take the rest. Fast forward a few weeks, and two of the blinds arrived the wrong size, and one was an entirely different style. And when I say wrong size, I don't mean just slightly, I mean at least 5 inches (see the pic). Shirley was so distracted that she wasn't even able to do the most fundamental part of her responsibility: accurately measure. They had also taken the remaining payment without contacting me to confirm. We were verbally told they would be remade and reinstalled in 5 days time. Then we got a call from Sarah in Customer Success who wanted to confirm the measurements as well as understand the problem. She was constantly chewing and very hard to understand. She also didn't really seem to care. It was as though we should be lucky to be their customer. After the call, we got an email saying the blinds would be delivered to the installer March 7, meaning our blinds wont be installed until after that date. I contacted Sarah requesting an explanation on why it is so long when I was promised an earlier date. But, as per our usual experience with Sarah, she cares so little that I've not received any response. 3 days later, I've followed up asking to speak to someone in management, but have heard nothing - knowing her she's just ignoring us. At least the blinds are good quality... UPDATE: So despite a comment from the company saying they monitor the case, I am still waiting to hear from management or anyone with useful authority. I have chased Sarah multiple times since the initial review, and even messaged the commenter to this post! They had sent me an email telling me my wouldn't be here till October and then all of a sudden they were here now that they put those up and I'm waiting on the correct size. Horrible Experience - Delays/Cancelation - Misinformation given I ordered my shades through 3-day blinds and I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. Half of my shades were delivered and installed while the other half were back-ordered (keep in mind, I did not find this out initially). After 3 months of being told they were delayed (multiple calls with their sales team), I received notification that they would be ready in a couple weeks. Then, a week later, I was told that they were still on back-order and would likely never be coming in. They offered for me to re-select a different option or they could simply refund my money for the portion that they did not install (none of their other options matched my others, or were anything that I would want - I originally had chosen a black banded/zebra shade). So, after they sent another salesperson out to my home assuring that they had a very similar color option (which they did not), I had to cancel the remaining order. Now, after 5 months (and still not having shades in half of my house), I've had to go with another company - keep in mind the new company's headers and other items will not match exactly. So, whether they kept receiving incorrect information and kept passing it on to me, or whether they were just flat out lying to me the entire time, I cannot be sure. I was without any blinds or privacy when I moved in for a little less than one month. Angela Williams, Design Consultant did an amazing job at my place. She is a very professional, friendly and a true expert in her field. The window we chose together treatments were actually sooner than I expected. The installer, Michael Knight was also so very professional and friendly and had my window treatments installed in a timely manner. He was completely organized bringing all the material and tools into my place before starting the installation. He followed Angela's design and they were all measured precisely so the process was completed as expected. I am so happy with the all my Faux Wood blinds, my front door Roller Shade and my back patio sliding door Vertical Blinds. They turned out to be a perfect fit, looks more elegant, perfect and so much than I ever imagined or expected for my new place. We reported a warranty issue on our less than 2 year old shade (broken cord) for our $13,000 total cost blinds with 3 Day Blinds on December 4, 2024. 5 weeks later (January 29) they sent out 2 replacement FOBS. Then they ordered a replacement shade, which arrived 13 weeks later (April 25), cords on the wrong side. 3 Day Blinds has the original order, how can they screw up the cord location on THEIR MEASUREMENTS? So they reorder the blind...send repair person out with new blind on May 23, and SURPRISE, It is the wrong shade. Next they say that they no longer make that shade and they will send out a design consultant...we accept for June 23 between 12 and 1pm. We change our travel plans and drive back home to arrive at 2AM on June 23 to be able to meet the consultant later that day. Consultant is a No show. Consultant is scheduled again for June 26. Consultant arrives and only offers full refund for the warranties shade. The very next day, June 27, 3 Day Blinds emails and rescinds that offer, stating we were offered other alternatives. I replied to that email on June 28 stating we were not OFFERED any other resolutions and requesting if the Resolution Associate, MARVIN A, had knowledge of any such offers made to us, to PLEASE ADVISE. I was sold $1100 window treatment with the premise of increased room darkening which was not the case. The second blind came damaged so it could not be installed. I told them do not order a new one and I am furious I got a product that has worse function than I had prior. I work night shift and need room darkening. They promised to work with me and get a product that will increase room darkening. This has been an over 3 month process and I still don't have a resolution from 3day blinds but they were happy to keep my $1100. I have used 3day blinds in 3 homes spending over $10,000 each time. Each time, I was pleased with the product and the sales person. Yesterday, 3 day blinds installed over $10,000 worth of product in my new home which included soft roman shades. The installer was wonderful. However, the product was very poor. The salesperson admitted at install that 3day blinds had recently changed manufacturers. There are large plastic plexiglass pieces now inside the blinds. The tracks don't function properly, the seams are not sewn with any precision. One side hangs down on most of the windows. There are plastic adhesive pieces instead of being hand sewn. In all, they are worse than anything you could make yourself or buy at Walmart. I tried calling customer service and was sent to 3 individuals. I simply asked for a refund citing the poor quality and change in manufacturer. The "leadership team" says "take a hike" and "there are no refunds." They said "I need to see how the plastic piece is inside the shade because I don't understand." (They don't even know how their own products are manufactured). One customer service rep told me the manufacturer hadn't changed. Then when I explained the salesperson had divulged it had, he agreed it had. I have been a HUGE fan of 3day until this incident. 3day is extremely short-sighted that they will not refund a spokesperson for their company who has recorded advertising videos. I really wanted to try and find a positive resolution with a refund because the product is so poor, but they refused. They continued to offer to remake them, but I can't think of anything worse than remaking blinds that are made with plastic, plastic plexiglass and plastic "tags" and playing nearly $12,000 for them. When you call on the status the phone reps seem new and don't give you a lot of updated installation information. The gal that came to our house had no personality and did not seem very happy. She was very condescending and when we asked questions she made us feel dumb. She seemed burned out. No follow up with us at all. The installer came out and again not happy and not very friendly. He put up the blinds and never cleaned up at all. When he left we had to get a vacuum out to clean up the carpet and wipe down all the window sills. The wrong valances were installed. Spoke to the rep who seemed completely inconvenienced that I wanted it fixed. YET He said he would get it resolved. After weeks of waiting I followed up with customer care and discovered that he in fact did not work on this at all and customer service had no record of it. I've been trying to get help since 12/23. Ten + years ago, I would have recommended 3 day blinds. Not today. If there was an option for zero stars, I would have chosen it. The service has disintegrated. Zero service. I've spent in the neighborhood of $25,000 in faux wood blinds to cover every window in my home. With the exception of the discoloration of the windows in my master bedroom, I've actually been pleased with the quality of the product. Their service is terrible! After the salesperson came out to measure, the product was ordered and there were four separate errors. The first is that the blinds were the wrong size, so they had to be replaced. All of this material is thrown away. They have no environmental conscience. That's important to me. So, I thought errors happen and I was forgiving about one error. What followed were three other issues including wrong sizes of valances, no valances. I reached out to the salesperson via text. He ignored me twice. Crickets. Terrible. I asked him for the contact information of the president, thinking the leadership of the company would want to learn of the service issues. He did not respond. Then, I reached out to their 800 customer service team. I asked for the contact information for their regional sales manager. They were reticent to share it until I explained my experience with all the hiccups. After receiving that person's email, I wrote him. No response. Crickets. I had to follow up with him and received a lame excuse..."customer service will contact you, blah, blah, blah." Never. Never was there a question like, "what can we do to make this right for you." Never. That is the sign of a quality organization that sincerely cares. So, the salesperson blew me off. As did the regional manager in my area. Not a good sign. I did receive an email from a person in "customer service." A joke. I had to explain the whole scenario and we had three exchanges when finally I asked him for recompense for this debacle of an experience. I was told it will take up to 3 months before they get that color back in stock. So now I'm going to have their competitor come over and give me a price quote for the basement. Must say I'm not impressed. First off, the name 3 Day Blinds should be more like 3 week blinds or longer, as it took over a month for my order to be ready, which wouldn't normally have been an issue since my new home was awaiting closing, but it still took more than 2 weeks after I moved in to get my new cellular shades. After quoting and installation, I decided I'd prefer to have a motorized blind placed in my master bedroom after the reach was too high for me to open them from the top (I did get an extender bar which opens them fine, but doesn't close them back up at night). This is less than 2 weeks after the shads had been installed. I called customer care and was referred back to my design consultant (sales person) and was quoted replacement cost that was double of what it would've been just to have the motorized blind installed in the first place. I asked for a break (and would have still been willing to pay more than the initial price quoted which was $250-280) and was referred back to customer care as I was told there was nothing more the design consultant could do. I contacted customer care and was told it was up to the discretion of the design consultant to offer discounts (and that they were sure I was offered discount already), so now I'm getting the total runaround. I wish I had read all the reviews first before going with this company as I don't feel like a valued customer after spending almost $6K for shades, which exceeded my original budget too and I had other options I bypassed. I told customer care that if there was no one willing to assist me with this that I'd take appropriate action so hence my review... They want to charge me now for reinstallation of the replacement shade, plus handling fees that could easily be waived if desired in the name of proper customer service. Because we had no coverings on windows, we agreed for the quick turnaround. On July 23, 2019 (not 3 days) Some blinds & duette-style coverings were installed; one was an incorrect measure and re-measured & re-submitted order.... Finally all were installed - at Day # 73 . This is a horrible company and I recommend the you do not work with them. Here are my issues: 1. The product delivered was not what was promised or expected. 2. Shades installed unexpected dangerous controller strings (see more information below). I would never knowingly put something this dangerous in my house and my salesperson did not tell me he would knowingly deviate from the design I requested that did not include controller strings. Corded blinds are dangerous to children and pets. Roughly one child per month dies from blind cord strangulation, and more than 600 children per year are injured. That's nearly an average of 2 preventable injuries to a child per day. Between 1990 and 2015, more than 16,000 children were injured. In my installation, the cords hang almost to the floor, making them extremely dangerous. b. Low-quality material and construction c. Shades are not the style requested or promised. The blinds are fine. I'm giving this review because every aspect of this (besides meeting with Jenny) has been a mess. I was quoted that they'd be here between Oct 10-17th. That was crucial because of my work travel schedule. By Oct 14 I hadn't heard anything and called. They explained that if I wanted them by the 17th, I would need to pay $100 expedited fee. I argued with them, which is absurd since that was within the date I was quoted. Eventually it was waived. But not without several calls, which is very annoying to me. The installer was set to come at 3pm. He called to let me know he was running 4-5 hours late. So he ended up installing at 8pm and I had to cancel my plans for that evening. Upon install, I realize that although I ordered a wand on all 9 windows, only one had it. The installer said he will install them anyway and I have to talk to the company to order all new ones. This meant I would have to have someone come and uninstall all of these and install new ones. As if I hadn't already spent like 5 hours waiting for this first install. Why would I possibly want to do that again?!? I genuinely do not have time for another install. I explain to the company that despite this not being what I ordered, I can't keep scheduling new installs and will keep what I have. You'd think they would be super apologetic and offer some kind of "I'm sorry this was our fault" discount, but they did not. I probably wouldn't have bothered to write a review had they tried to do that. But here we are. In summary, the blind rep is great and the blinds are nice, but literally every other step in this process was exhausting. And for that insane price point (I got several less expensive quotes) I should have had white glove service. This was not the case. read more

The 10'+ drapes are completely wrinkled and there is no way to get them pressed once they are installed. They do not offer steaming or pressing before they are hung. They have been up 3 weeks so far and have not gotten any better. Our installation was a nightmare. The man was rude, and first installed the drapes in the wrong location. I don't think there is any communication between the sales team and the installer. Then he redid them and hung them too high leaving several inches off the floor. We had just had our walls painted and he created 4 news holes at over 10' in the wall that have to be repaired and repainted. This company has poor customer service and installation. They don't explain anything to you or go over the contract when you sign it, and then the quality of the product is not worth the cost. One of our shades was a weird shape, not a rectangle, and it didn't go to the end of the windowsill so light sleeps through, and also on the sides. Another shade was installed similarly, where it doesn't go past the sill and lets light in, and it's pull has rubbed away our window trim. The blinds we got appear the same quality as Home Depot, but are much more expensive. When customer service is contacted, they make it very clear they only care about your money and not your happiness with the product. Would recommend to steer clear of this company. Excellent appointment - estimate - friendly - etc. Except...did not stand behind the product. Within 2-3 months, the valance material started to separate from the valances, (there were 3 valances) and hang down. They sent an installer who pushed the material back up but as soon as he left it started hanging down again, (material was not secured on the ends of the valances). I called and emailed but the salesperson refused to talk, or replace or look at the valances, (or refund my money for the valances). I had to hire a contractor to replace the valances. I used 3 Day Blinds for my entire house after a remodel, 27 window coverings in total....I don't remember it taking too long to get them, but since I purchased them I have had seven of the coverings break and have had to have repairs. That's 25%. And two of the repaired blinds broke again in the same way. At first I didn't have a problem with the repairs, although it's a hassle, but after a while the customer service got to be horrible....they wouldn't return calls when they said they would, I'd be on hold forever, they didn't keep notes in their system about what was going on, etc. They lost the repairs on two occasions and could never find them in their warehouse and finally had to provide me with new shades, both times it took nearly two months from initial contact to delivery before I finally had my window covered again. One of the worst of the types just broke again....they are Roman shades that are top down and bottom up. NEVER BUY THESES. I called and was told the blind was too old to replace. I told her my sales person told me they had a lifetime guarantee, and she said that's not really true. I also told her the shade had been previously repaired in September of 2019, so the repair only lasted about two years. She put me on hold for about 20 minutes and then told me she could call me back so I didn't have to hold....she promised she would call before day end to give me an update regardless of whether she had a final answer or not.
