We had a great experiencing ordering motorized blinds with Nan. She came and measured and had a wide variety of samples to see as well as a great sense of how to order to achieve our desired look and functionality. They also have a show room with lots of examples of their options in full size blinds. Our installer Michael also was very friendly, he was on time, and he did a beautiful job of installing our blinds, asking how we wanted the controls to work, then explaining how to use our remotes and phones to control the blinds. The Hunter Douglas products are well made and they offer some attractive fabrics and just about any option you would wish for with excellent app design for controlling the blinds. We felt the price was very reasonable after comparing to Costco's quote for less-appealing fabrics in Graber blinds. I would definitely do business with Window Vango if we replace more blinds in the future. read more

Recently used this company to replace a large blind in my living room. Heather was really helpful, and ordering and installation went really smoothly. Would highly recommend Windo VanGo and Hunter Douglas blinds. read more

We moved into an apartment that has SW facing windows. We were in serious need of sun protection. We are delighted with the blinds, with the remote controls for our 3 rooms and 6 windows. The solar collectors will obviate the need for new batteries for the blinds. Andrew, our installer was great, as was Carlton who came by a couple of days after they were installed and perfectly programmed to teach us to use the new technology. It was easy! We are delighted. read more

I'm writing about how impressed I was with the installation of my shades. My installer was Michael, and his professionalism was top-notch. He took the time to set everything up, install the products, clean up after himself, and help guide me through the operation of my new PowerView Shades. I highly recommend Window VanGo for your window covering needs. read more

We met with the owner and he was great. He fixed our problem free of charge while we discussed other blind problems we are having. We were very pleased with the outcome. read more

We highly recommend Windo VanGo! We experienced top shelf service and expertise from our initial visit to installation and beyond! We rebuilt our home after the Marshall Fire and have to say that out of the countless companies and vendors we worked with, Windo VanGo wins the top performance of them all. Paul greeted us in the showroom and delivered terrific service. Friendly, highly professional, he was a good listener and asked good questions which allowed him to give us excellent ideas. He made the process as streamlined as possible which we needed and appreciated. Paul gave us wonderful, personalized service and Tonya in the office helped us with energy rebates and pretty much whatever we needed. We were lucky to have seen Paul's VanGo in our neighborhood! read more

A sales representative visited our house for a consultation. She seemed friendly and chatty, but the first thing she said was, "I don't think you can afford us." She took a look around our house and kept repeating it. It was almost like she didn't want to waste her time. She encouraged us to go look at Home Depot and other budget providers. What she didn't know was that we were in the process of redecorating our small and modest home with luxurious fixtures. She knew nothing about our incomes, occupation or wealth and nor did she ask. We could, in fact, afford the quote she gave us. However, we were turned off by her biased assumptions and decided to go with a different vendor. I am still giving the business three stars because she did end up staying to measure after I convinced her to give us some quotes, at least. read more

We had external blinds installed on our west facing windows to decrease the heat from the sun as the temperatures increase in the afternoons. I could not be happier with the whole process from the first visit to give us the options available and the measuring and ordering to professional and complete installation and instruction for how to use the blinds and precautions to take for the windy conditions we often have here along the front range. Once again doing business with Windo VanGo was great and I highly recommend them to anyone considering getting blinds or drapes for their home. read more

Andrew at Window VanGo was absolutely amazing to work with. He stuck with us during my back and forth decision making and indecisiveness. He even came in on his day off to help us look again at the show room and weigh our options. My husband also raves about Michael the installer and how he was efficient and detail oriented. We had ordered some do the fancier blinds which meant they all had to be synchronized and hooked up to the app. The install went seamless. Andrew stopped in to verify the job was going well. This is our second house we have used Window VanGo for and have only had good experiences. Our shades turned out beautiful! read more

I requested window coverings for my living room. Andrew came to my home with different selections based on what I told him I wanted. He was very professional and quickly sent me quotes for a few different possibilities. I ultimately chose plantation shutters for the room and they turned out perfect. I had a communication problem with a salesman while getting a quote. The owner actually got in contact with me and certainly changed my original opinion of the company. Their customer service is fantastic. Based on the other reviews, their work is great at well. Unfortunately, we had already had our windows measured and order placed with another company. Otherwise we would have gone with Windo Vango. read more

I have aluminum mini blinds in the bedroom in two sidelights that make up the bay window. One of the blinds broke and needed to be replaced. After taking it out and going to Home Depot, I learned that HD only sells fixed lengths and I would need to shop on the internet or take it to a blind store. I'd rather use a local business than an internet provider so Monday morning, I took it to Windo Van Go near me. I had to ask for help, after three employees seemed to ignore that I was at the counter. Finally, after asking if someone would help me, one of the women came up and asked what I wanted. I explained that I needed the blind replaced, and she said that a salesperson would have to quote it and get back to me. I left the blind, since it has the color and measurements on a label. I didn't hear anything all day, nor this morning. I stopped in this morning to find out what was going on with this, and learned that no one had looked at the blind or quoted it. It was on the salesman's desk, but according to the woman I spoke with today, he had been on vacation and she didn't know when he would "get to it". Strike three, you're out. I guess if it were a big full house window treatment job, I would have received a different response, but i just need to get my blind replaced. read more

I had Window Van Go install some remote controlled skylight covers a year or so ago. They are beautiful, function as they should via remote, and have made vast improvements on the heat accumulation in my loft area. I had them out again recently to quote me for honey comb blinds on the rest of my windows because of the initial fantastic experience. Their prices are great and I love that I can control my vaulted upper windows and skylights via remote at a reasonable price. Also I mentioned on the last measurement visit that one of my skylights wouldn't show up as a recognized blind on my extra wifi connection package I bought and Andrew told me that they stand behind all their products and would make sure all is working correctly when my new blinds are added to the wifi app. read more

After having a big box store's "Hunter Douglas" rep basically blow us off we had somewhat less hope of finding attractive, durable, and affordable blinds for our new house. Luckily we happened upon Windo VanGo and set up an in-house appointment. We learned that the big box stores carry lower end Hunter Douglas products (possibly an OEM?) and that Windows VanGo works directly with the manufacturer. After receiving a quote for cordless faux-wood blinds that was substantially less vs. our big box store quote, we decided to proceed with Windo VanGo. Within a few weeks the blinds were professionally installed, and we were extremely happy with our purchase. Unfortunately we did notice some mild warping on a few of the blinds, as well as some issues with the cordless mechanism on other blinds. Windo VanGo was instantly on the case and had affected blinds re-manufactured. At this point we couldn't be happier with blinds, and would HIGHLY recommend Windo VanGo to anyone in need of window coverings (even those on a budget!). read more

The sales person showed up at my house 15 minutes late and offered no apology. She then asked me what I wanted, and when I replied, she told me condescendingly that there are a lot of options with blinds. She then tried to push an additional window covering on our back door, which I told her twice, I did not want. Then, when taking measurements of our windows she commented several times, in a tone of disgust and disbelief, that our drywall was "off" and then pointed out a dent in it. She also told us that our current shutters were installed incorrectly. When I asked her how long it would take to get a quote, she rudely told me she had 4 other appointments that day, so it wouldn't be until the following day. When I did receive the quote, it was $4900. To put it in perspective, another very reputable company quoted me $2100. The only reason I'm not giving this review 1 star is because the woman who scheduled my appointment was really friendly. read more

Stopped by the 'showroom' to look at some options for the windows in our new home after receiving an ad in the mail that said 'visit our showroom'. There were three other couples and ONE employee when we arrived. I overheard the salesperson say that pricing wasn't available without coming out to measure the windows. So, basically any visit to the showroom without an in home consult is a waste of time as they can bring samples to you. After doing a few laps in the store without further any acknowledgement... we left. Hopefully other elements of their business are better than the experience we received in the show room. read more

It is so refreshing to work with a local company that has amazing customer service and of course great products. We originally thought we wanted a sliding wood shutter to cover the patio door to match our other shutters in the house. Susan told us in order to do that we would have to come out 1' into the room, well the room is small and losing 1" of usable space is tough. Susan provided us a perfect option which was the Skyline shade. We ordered a white shade but during the day with direct sunshine, the shade appeared to be slightly beige. We waited a couple of weeks to see if we changed our mind on the color and we decided we needed to go one shade whiter. The shade was replaced for a whiter shade, no questions asked. Absolutely love the customer service and would highly, highly recommend Windo VanGo to anyone looking for new or replacement window and door coverings. read more

We received a card in the mail for Window VanGo and since it was a brand new home with zero window coverings, we made a call for the "free" in home quote. Andrew was very easy going and absolutely no pressure. We were very happy with the shades and curtain panels at the completion of the installation. The installers were very professional and respectful of our new home. One of the shades would not fit in one of my windows and without hesitation it was quickly remade and installed. I'm giving 5 stars because I believe this company is on their way to awesome customer service with one small improvement. I had to call a couple of times to get an update on my order and I wish they would have called me first! I would highly recommend this company for Hunter Douglas products. read more

Windo Van Go is supposed to be an authorized Hunter Douglas repair facility. I took my Hunter Douglas blind into them for repair and two weeks later (after calling to find out where my blind was) received a blind that does not function at all. When I try to lower it down, it wants to stop halfway down the window and with gentle pulling, it goes to the bottom on one side and leaves a 2-3 inch gap above the window sill on the other side (it was NOT doing this when I took it to them it just needed to be re-strung). I called them back the same day I picked it up letting them know how it was functioning. They said their installer was in my area and he would be coming to pick it up. He never showed up and no one has called since. What kind of customer service is that? Update: I took my blind to their competitor (Innovative Openings) and got it back in two days. The repairman came out to talk to me directly and said he'd never seen anything like it before: the interior mechanism had been installed backwards and had been improperly re-strung as well. They were shocked that it had been sent home in that condition. Innovative Openings not only sells the same products as Windo Van Go but also has competent service/repair. read more

Andrew and his team were a dream to work with! Andrew made the trip all the way to our home in Fraser and was extremely helpful when selecting my Hunter Douglas roller shades. I had several quotes from him in my inbox within 24 hours. The quotes were so competitive that I simply could not justify going with either of the other two companies I consulted. The shades were installed two weeks later and they look amazing! I was working with a tight schedule and Michael (the installer) arrived early just to make my day easier. He did a wonderful job and took the time to explain everything I needed to know about my new window coverings. Highly recommend! read more

This was a great experience from start to finish. Initially there was a glitch when I contacted Windo VanGo through yelp; they received my inquiry but the response wasn't working. We did hook up later that day and it was smooth sailing from there. They came to my home for an estimate and 2 weeks later the blinds are up. They fit perfectly and look beautiful. We've used Window Van Go for many years and wouldn't think of going to anyone else. Prior to finding this gem of a business, we checked out Costco, as well as some "other" businesses, but none of them could touch Window Van Go in price. Their customer service is top notch. They are able to give suggestions that we didn't even think of, and that actually made a difference in what we would have originally chosen. We're so happy with this business, and we are so happy that they are still around. I suppose it has something to do with the stellar customer service, great prices, and awesome products that they supply. read more

My husband and I were so happy we went with Windo Van Go! Andrew came out and helped us pick out the exact right shades for our large bay window. He spent lots of time going over all of our options and went over each price point with us as well. He was very patient with us and made sure that we understood everything and that we would be happy with what we ordered. We had told him that we had our housewarming party coming up in a few weeks and we told him we hoped it was possible to get the blinds installed before then. Andrew told us he hoped it would be. when the time came he called us and set up a time to get them installed 2 days before our party. When the time to get them installed came we were surprised to see Andrew show up. He explained that he wanted to make sure that the blinds got installed before our party and since he used to install them he came out to do them himself! They have been up for a couple of weeks and we couldn't be happier with them! Thanks Andrew :) read more

Ordered a large variety of product from these folks less than 2 yrs ago. One shade cord snapped. Took it back (25 mile drive away, 36 minutes 1 way) to have the cord replaced. They called 3 times to say the shade had been fixed. Husband said it was in a nice sleeve that said DONE on it and low and behold it hadn't been touched, still as it was when it was dropped off 2 weeks ago. Am I furious???? The answer is YES! No one at the store knows what happened said they will need to ask Jackie the person whom was responsible for the fix and she won't be in for another couple of days. Absolutely ridiculous. We were going to order more product from them for our master bathroom renovation and there is NO WAY I will be doing business with such an incompetent bunch. read more
