They also have a show room with lots of examples of their options in full size blinds. Our installer Michael also was very friendly, he was on time, and he did a beautiful job of installing our blinds, asking how we wanted the controls to work, then explaining how to use our remotes and phones to control the blinds. The Hunter Douglas products are well made and they offer some attractive fabrics and just about any option you would wish for with excellent app design for controlling the blinds. We felt the price was very reasonable after comparing to Costco's quote for less-appealing fabrics in Graber blinds. I would definitely do business with Window Vango if we replace more blinds in the future.

I couldn't handle living in a fishbowl and Yelped blinds companies via the app. This was our first attempt at ordering blinds for a house so the task was daunting. Dan instantly responded and had an opening and came out the next business day to measure. The quote was a smidge higher, but only 4 weeks for delivery and installation!! Winner winner chicken dinner! We are so glad we didn't opt for the cheapest company and went with 5280 Blinds and Shades. Not only did he put up temporary paper blinds (btw nobody else even offered this), he changed into clean working shoes to work around while his coworker had on booties. Extremely fast, efficient, courteous, and respectful. I wish everyone we worked with was this great. Oh and a plus is our blinds look freakin' phenomenal. He tested every blind to make sure it worked properly and went back to the vendor if an item wasn't working! Above and beyond service!! 100% would recommend.

He was super polite, friendly, and efficient, which was awesome to see in an installer. He also had no problem throwing on a mask, which we appreciated since my wife is 8 months pregnant and we have a 2 year old at home who cannot be vaccinated. Andy had come for the consultation, and made that part really easy for us. Everything was pretty straight-forward, and he was up-front with their pricing. Courtney was awesome with scheduling, and even accommodated my communication preferences with text and email, which I found super helpful as a millennial and a software developer :) I am very happy we went with them instead of the other guys that quoted our blinds, and I recommend them to anyone reading this.

I have used this company for nearly all the window coverings in my house, over a period of 30+…read moreyears, when then they started in Boulder. They have always done stellar work and carry high quality products. Unfortunately one of our Hunter Douglas shades of the mid 90s had a failed cord due to its extended use in a bedroom. When I called to see if it could be restrung, I learned the sad news that they cannot, due to federal safety laws regarding the child strangulation prevention measures of current manufacture. A good thing for children of course, but a complication for homeowners. We went out to their facility and worked with one of their designers and chose a shade similar enough in color and style to fit in our home. We ordered the product and waited about 4 weeks until it arrived. We picked it up and planning to install it ourselves, having done so for some of the older ones in the past. As it turned out, the method of install is so different now, the tools required and the shape of the brackets now also different, we were unable to do it. I called the designer and asked if we could have an installer after all. She contacted installation and got me the contact to set it up. Today the installer got here, a true professional, on time and with tools in hand, had it done in under 20 minutes. Nothing like having the skills and the tools and the height to do it with ease. We felt very fortunate and the price to do this was very reasonable. I will continue to use Innovative Openings for all of our window coverings. One more note, if you do have an older Hunter Douglas window shade product in your home with any small plastic fasteners or pull tabs for the old cord system that have cracked with age or high altitude sun exposure like ours, those parts can be ordered directly from Hunter Douglas online. It is simple to replace most of these parts. The parts are free and I was only charged a minimal shipping fee. I was able to get about 7 pieces. I was able to match colors for past products up to nearly 20 years old. I did those replacements myself. I even switched one to the same color but a different shape to better match the older blinds in the adjacent room. It's the internal cord system on the older blinds that they can no longer re-string. If you want to prevent replacing, be very gentle on them as they age.

It was a minor fix, and they handled it quickly and at no charge, which I really appreciated, especially after the original retailer stopped responding. That kind gesture stuck with me, so when it came time to get new blinds for our windows, I knew I wanted to get a quote from The Blind Spot. We started with a visit to the showroom, where we met Jerod, and later scheduled an in-home consultation so he could walk us through more options. At no point did I feel pressured or upsold. He focused on helping us make an informed decision based on our needs and preferences. The blinds arrived within six weeks, and Jerod installed them efficiently by himself. They look great! I also feel confident they'll be responsive if we ever need repairs in the future, which gives me peace of mind. Overall, I highly recommend The Blind Spot for anyone in the market for new blinds.
