    3 Day Blinds Angela Williams, Design Consultant I am extremely happy I chose 3 Day Blinds for much needed window treatments at my new town house recently. I was without any blinds or privacy when I moved in for a little less than one month. Angela Williams, Design Consultant did an amazing job at my place. She is a very professional, friendly and a true expert in her field. The window we chose together treatments were actually sooner than I expected. The installer, Michael Knight was also so very professional and friendly and had my window treatments installed in a timely manner. He was completely organized bringing all the material and tools into my place before starting the installation. He followed Angela's design and they were all measured precisely so the process was completed as expected. I am so happy with the all my Faux Wood blinds, my front door Roller Shade and my back patio sliding door Vertical Blinds. They turned out to be a perfect fit, looks more elegant, perfect and so much than I ever imagined or expected for my new place. I highly recommend 3 Day Blinds to family and friends for overall great value, top quality and design.

    Left side Room darkening 3-day blind product. Right side our current window shade that came with the house. I was sold $1100 window treatment with the premise of increased room darkening which was not the case. The second blind came damaged so it could not be installed. I told them do not order a new one and I am furious I got a product that has worse function than I had prior. I work night shift and need room darkening. They promised to work with me and get a product that will increase room darkening. This has been an over 3 month process and I still don't have a resolution from 3day blinds but they were happy to keep my $1100. Also the service recovery team was great on a one time phone call and never heard from again.

    I have used 3day blinds in 3 homes spending over $10,000 each time. Each time, I was pleased with the product and the sales person. Yesterday, 3 day blinds installed over $10,000 worth of product in my new home which included soft roman shades. The installer was wonderful. However, the product was very poor. The salesperson admitted at install that 3day blinds had recently changed manufacturers. There are large plastic plexiglass pieces now inside the blinds. The tracks don't function properly, the seams are not sewn with any precision. One side hangs down on most of the windows. There are plastic adhesive pieces instead of being hand sewn. In all, they are worse than anything you could make yourself or buy at Walmart. I tried calling customer service and was sent to 3 individuals. I simply asked for a refund citing the poor quality and change in manufacturer. The "leadership team" says "take a hike" and "there are no refunds." They said "I need to see how the plastic piece is inside the shade because I don't understand." (They don't even know how their own products are manufactured). One customer service rep told me the manufacturer hadn't changed. Then when I explained the salesperson had divulged it had, he agreed it had. I have been a HUGE fan of 3day until this incident. 3day is extremely short-sighted that they will not refund a spokesperson for their company who has recorded advertising videos. I really wanted to try and find a positive resolution with a refund because the product is so poor, but they refused. They continued to offer to remake them, but I can't think of anything worse than remaking blinds that are made with plastic, plastic plexiglass and plastic "tags" and playing nearly $12,000 for them. I can't even begin to put into words how disappointed I am. The short-sightedness reflects 3day blinds as a company and their inability to make it right. I don't want more "remade" crappy blinds. I just want my money back. I'm a single mom and an educator.

    I had an appointment with Lisa, she supposed to show up between 9 and 10am, after passed the scheduled time, she called me that she would be arrived by 11:00am, I patiently waited till 12:50, then I texted her wanted to know if she still coming, no word returned, so I called the office wondering where is Lisa? is she okay? the lady answered the phone told me she would call me back once she contacted Lisa, but she didn't.

However, my overall experience with her ended in deep disappointment and frustration. If you choose to work with her, do not let her refer you to Hummingbird HRD (Crystal and Brian Mansanares), as that is where everything unraveled. Jaime first helped me after a Christmas morning plumbing disaster, and at the outset, she was fantastic--quick to respond, knowledgeable, and actively engaged in creating thoughtful layouts. Because things seemed to be going well, we also hired her for additional design work in our kitchen and living room. But when she referred us to Hummingbird as the general contractor, she stepped away entirely, leaving us in the hands of an inexperienced team that led to an overpriced, incomplete, and poorly executed renovation. Where Things Went Wrong Jaime and Crystal turned out to be personal friends rather than longtime collaborators, and our home was essentially a "guinea pig project"--a fact Jaime admitted only after things had gone terribly wrong. The staggering lack of professionalism from Hummingbird resulted in months of stress, wasted money, and a home that remains unfinished to this day. After Crystal declared the project "done" (despite glaringly poor workmanship), I asked Jaime to see the state of things herself. She agreed with me that the quality was unacceptable and even apologized for how badly things had turned out. She admitted that Crystal lacked the necessary experience and recognized that we had been unintentionally used as a test project. To make matters worse, she also told me, "Wow, I didn't realize you were so detail-oriented--I would feel exactly the same." As if they thought they could get away with subpar work and I wouldn't notice--truly insulting. Jaime's Final Disappointing Choice To her credit, Jaime convinced Crystal and Brian to attempt to fix their mess, but she ultimately abandoned the project. Despite personally acknowledging all the flaws, she later sent me a completely contradictory statement: "I have every faith in Hummingbird completing the project as promised, and overall, I believe they have done an exceptional job." This project was supposed to take 4-6 weeks starting in March--it was still dragging on in November, at which point I cut ties entirely because it was no longer worth the emotional toll. To this day, our home remains unfinished and cheap-looking, a painful reminder of the stress and financial loss we endured. What We Actually Got for Jaime's Fees After paying her design fees for both the bathroom and kitchen/living room, all we truly received was: * Layout options * A recommendation for Hummingbird (which proved disastrous) * Help selecting a kitchen table and rug Had we gone with a different general contractor, I might be writing a glowing five-star review. Unfortunately, given how this played out, I cannot recommend Jaime Langer at all.
