Good evening, I just…read morewanted to say, either I can't remember because it's been so long, or I just simply have never encountered a company with such dedication to customer service. From the warm welcoming personality of the woman (sorry I don't recall her name), I spoke to on phone, to the electrician (Jake) you guys are simply amazing! After installing our new pendant light, my wife and I were disappointed that it was defective. Jake came back and took it down, so we can return it for another. You did this for no additional charge. Then Jake came back to reinstall the replacement fixture, again for no additional charge. In this age, where profit outweighs decency, Home-N-Around is a beacon of light. You guys are setting the bar for what doing good business and true customer should look like. If anyone ask us, if we know a good electrician? We will shout "Jake & Home-N-Around!" from the rafters. I promise, when we are ready to finish our basement, we will be calling Home-N-Around! Thank you so very much! Sincerely, Sheldon & Clarissa

Outstanding Electric Company!…read more I had an extremely challenging situation with a master bathroom project after the previous contractor abandoned the job. The walls had already been tiled, and the electrical work for the fixtures had been done very poorly. Several electricians and contractors came out to look at the project, but most declined to take it on because the situation was such a mess. Then I called Lightning Bug Electric, and they were absolutely fantastic from the very beginning. They immediately arranged for Cody to come out for a site visit. He took the time to really understand the situation, carefully thought through each challenge, developed a plan, and provided me with a quote on the spot. I was incredibly impressed with his knowledge, professionalism, and willingness to take on a difficult project that others had walked away from. The very next morning at 9:00 a.m., two technicians arrived and got to work. Marcus and Anthony were brilliant, respectful, hardworking, and incredibly skilled. They navigated an extremely complicated situation with expertise and a great attitude. Not only did they never seem frustrated by the challenges they encountered, they were so kind and courteous. They took the time to do the job correctly rather than taking shortcuts. What impressed me most was that all three--Cody and the two technicians--mentioned how much pride they take in their work. And it absolutely showed. The quality of the work was outstanding. They were professional from start to finish, communicated well, showed up when they said they would, and left me feeling confident that the electrical work was finally done properly. Lightning Bug Electrical exceeded my expectations in every way. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for knowledgeable, professional electricians who genuinely care about the quality of their work. Five stars without hesitation!

If you're looking for a dependable electrician who actually cares about doing things the right way,…read morecall Mr. Moore at 1st Class Electric. I don't usually write long reviews, but good work and good people deserve to be recognized. From the very first conversation, he was professional, patient, and straightforward. He showed up exactly when he said he would, walked me through everything step-by-step, and made sure I understood what needed to be done and why. No pressure, no "mysterious" charges, no talking in circles -- just honest information and fair pricing. You can tell immediately he takes pride in his craft. He worked efficiently, kept everything clean throughout the process, and double-checked his work before wrapping up. When he finished, the space looked better than when he started -- and most importantly, everything worked perfectly and safely. Electrical work is not something to gamble with. It's dangerous, and the wrong person can make a bad situation worse. Mr. Moore is the real deal -- knowledgeable, trustworthy, and extremely thorough. It's rare these days to find someone who brings skill, professionalism, and integrity all in one. I will absolutely be calling him again for future work, and I highly recommend him to anyone who wants the peace of mind that the job was done right.

I hired this electrician to service my home twice. Given the extent of the issues I discovered…read moreafter purchasing my home, I specifically made sure to hire a licensed electrician. After the initial service, I asked whether his work was covered by a warranty, and he told me it was covered for one year. I initially had no issues with his service. That changed when I brought an issue to his attention that he himself said could potentially create a fire hazard. Rather than addressing the concern promptly, he told me I would need to pay an additional travel fee because it was after hours and he was no longer in his work clothes. I understood that he had a schedule and declined the after-hours visit, then made an appointment for the following day. When he came out the next day, I again asked about the warranty on his work, and he again stated that it was one year. Within approximately two months, I experienced a relatively minor issue related to the prior service that had a reasonable fix. When I contacted him about it, however, he denied ever agreeing to a one-year warranty and would not honor what I had previously been told. That was extremely disappointing. My concern is not simply the cost of addressing the issue; it is that I relied on his representation that his work was covered for one year, only to have that position change when I actually needed the warranty. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend getting the terms of any warranty in writing before allowing work to begin, including exactly what is covered and for how long. I would also recommend getting any additional fees and service terms in writing. One additional note: much of our communication was through text, including messages that appeared to be generated or assisted by ChatGPT. Regardless of how the messages are produced, make sure the important terms of your agreement--including any warranty--are clearly documented in writing. My experience was that the warranty I was verbally promised was not honored when I needed it.
