Their estimate was outrageous- we needed two outdoor faucets replaced that were leaking. Their bid of $1200 included over $1,000 in labor charges alone. I asked for a breakdown of charges but didn't really get a clear answer. I hired someone else, licensed and bonded, and the job took 90 minutes, including a run to the hardware store. $1,000 for basically an hour of pretty simple work felt like an incredible ripoff to us. We paid more for the estimate fee to Cross and Sons than we ended up spending on parts and labor with a friendlier company.

My home warranty company, Choice Warranty, contacted Premium Plumbing and Septic to repair a leaky…read morevalve under my master bathroom vanity. The next day I received a call from Premium to set up an appointment for the repairs. The following day a plumber came to replace the faulty valve but noticed a large amount of water had seeped under the vanity, possibly under the tile and onto the cement slab floor. He suggested a mitigation company to determine if any further damage occurred which could eventually cause mold. I received a call from Matthew Cavander, Premium Plumbing & Septic, who came the following day to evaluate the situation. After testing with a meter which indicated high counts and not knowing if water seeped under the tile floor, he suggested about three days of mitigation to remove any water issues. He thoroughly explained the steps of the mitigation process. The following day the process started by covering my wood flooring leading from the front door to the master bathroom. The damaged vanity and toilet were removed and machinery was installed for approximately. Under Matthew's supervision someone came every day with a meter for testing. During the whole process, every time I contacted Matthew with a question/concern he always called or texted me immediately. Since this was also an insurance claim, Premium filed all the necessary documentation with my insurance company. Also, when the insurance adjuster came to evaluate the claim, Matthew made it a point to be here to speak with him. Premium Plumbing is definitely a five-star company and I would use them again for my plumbing needs.

I told him I had a previous company that came out but my toliet continues to get clogged and this time over flowed to downstairs . He told me that the issue could be in the pipes If I had some one to snake it and replace parts . He just proceeded to tell me what he think the issue is but could not look at anything unless the warranty company gave him permission. So he sat on my tub and got on the phone . He said the toliet was not clogged because I had unclogged it. I wanted them too check things out he refused to do anything but charge me 85. I asked can he snake it he says no ..can you change a part he said no ... so I preceded to say you came out and did NOTHING. He also had said if the warranty would not pay he would do the work with his company so at that point I knew i Was getting ripped off. I lost 85 and canceelled the service with Choice Warrenty lost money for doing that . On top of that the guy asked why I had an attitude he trying to help . I was very professional and just told Him I never had someone say they think this is the issue and did nothing else . I will tell all my friends and family not to use Premium PLumbling or Choice Warrenty . Worst experience ever lost 85.00 in fifteen minutes and the guy did NOTHING!!! We called Tom at TLC plumbing and he came over that afternoon. After a lot of investigation including sending a video camera down our pipes, he was able to find the culprit! Some lovely raspberry bushes that I had planted a decade earlier literally cracked the pipe leaving our home and created a 70% blockage. After the diagnosis, Tom suggested replacing that section of pipe along with an exterior cleanout trap to keep such nastiness from happening in the future. If you are looking for a genuinely good, fair and professional plumber who also lives in the Dallas Area, look no further than TLC plumbing!!!

I had other plumbing companies give me all sorts of crazy quotes and extra add on to my problem and stress level. Tons of water being leaked underground. I had the report from the water company and the other plumbers still did not know what to do to fix the problem, my problem lasted 6 weeks due to all the other plumbers. Finally, I called TLC Plumbing and was able to reach Tom, and he sent out his representative right away, who, gave me a fair price for the job, after his representative talk with me and explained everything that needed to be done, to install a new waterline. I was able to hire TLC right away for this job and TLC Plumber Tom fixed my waterline leak the next day. Tom's crew were friendly straight to the point and honest about my issue. Did not exaggerate the problem like other plumbers did. If you want plumbers who know what they are doing, get right to work, and are honest, with professional grade work, these guys are your go to. He has done 2 outdoor water spigots for me. Just recently we had a tub stem break and we couldn't turn the water off. Nate came out the next morning after I called him and had the job done within 2 hours. He had to replace the tub & shower stem that were 30+ years old. Nate put in new stems. His rates are much better than the plumbing companies you heard doing adds on TV and the radio and the service is A+. Personally I wouldn't use any other plumber.

They arrived the next day on schedule (this was not an emergency, so next day was perfectly acceptable). I showed them the problem, they went to work, and had the job wrapped up in no time. I do feel like they could have been in less of a rush. Once they finished, they didn't test the work very thoroughly and this made me a little nervous about what might happen when they left. I checked up on it later, and the major problem had been fixed. One of the secondary issues was still a minor problem. I think they would have seen this had they just taken the time to check their work thoroughly. I fixed it myself with some plumbing tape. Overall, a 4/5 and I would recommend them. The prices are fair (well.. as fair as they can be, because let's be honest, plumbing is stupid expensive to begin with).

We needed a plumber to fix toilets that would not flush Because there was a blockage in the line…read moresomewhere. I suggested this one plumber Because I've met him before and he seemed nice and integral. The website stated that they did free estimates. So he comes out And we gave him a rundown Of the issue. Goes back out to the van gets the commercial snake And plunge Both toilets for about 45 seconds each. The toilets begin to flush so he goes back out to the van and writes up an invoice for $489. He charged $325 for labor and included two toilet kits in the price and taxed them. It only took About 15 minutes total. Homeowners warranty preapproved it but only reimbursed almost half of it. We will never use them again and Definitely will not refer them to anybody.
