    Potato pancakes

This brunch place was really good. Despite being busy, the food came out fairly quickly and it tasted good. A couple of minor things keep me from giving this five stars, but it's close. There was a missed English muffin and the coffee was nothing special beyond typical diner coffee. Outside of that, the sausage gravy was flavorful and the pancakes were really good. Prices were what I would expect for the food we got. A good brunch after we spent some time exploring the flea market nearby. The potato pancakes were also perfectly made.

Everyone who could order enjoyed their food. There are no gluten free options other than coffee. The cinnamon roll pancakes are a must order. The pancakes overall are some of the best.

We went back to this area because my 80 year old mom grew up here and wanted to return. We decided to go to the Monday flea market and we opted to have breakfast here. No offense but as a southerner I wasn't too hopeful that the food up in these parts would be good but this place proved me wrong. We both got a 4 egg omelette and it was cooked to perfection and the ingredients and meats were plentiful and delicious! We also got one of their homemade cinnamon rolls and it too was delicious. I opted for hash browns with onions and cheese and it too was wonderful. My only complaint is that this is a small place and people literally sit on top of one another so it would have been better if they had limited seating with the Covid 19 going around. Otherwise this was a perfect place to dine!!

Best breakfast in the Northwoods!! The food is excellent and the prices can't be beat. The Walleye and eggs is worth the 30 minute drive.

Great breakfast joint! The food and service is always great and they make their own fruit spread for your toast.

Great service, good food. What more could you want? The chicken dumpling soup was a perfect lunch.

What a great place! Their menu goes from cheese curds to burgers and pizza to braised beef shank…read moreand scallops. We went for the high end and couldn't have been more happy. It's just a roadside bar/ restaurant. We were there in the winter so a lot of snowmobiles had stopped to eat. The pan seared scallops seemed out of place but looked so good. I'm glad I went with it. I love celery root puree and the greens and bacon just brought it to a new level! My husband enjoyed the huge braised beef shank. I would highly recommend. Service was great as well and the prices were right.

Ordered the curry cauliflower, cherry and almond appetizer it was was good however being from the Caribbean I couldn't taste the curry but I love cauliflower and it was a nice combo just needed a little more flavor. The salad was good and the dressing was homemade and delicious. Our soup tasted great as well. The prime rib was good and the mushrooms were awesome because they were real mushrooms. The only problem was my prime rib was cold, I let the waitress know and they gave us a discount. My partners prime rib was perfect. The service was great our waitress to good care of us and the restaurant was clean and our table was clean and quiet. We will definitely go there again to try some other things on the menu.

I've been wanting to stop in here for a while. There are a lot of mixed reviews for Pub' n Prime…read morewhich made it hard for me to figure out if I should give it a try. Pub' n Prime is pretty old school looking. I love the mid-century modern looking decor that meets northwoods. There is a cool outside tiki bar that we didn't take advantage of but it was going strong out there. My party sat at the bar for a drink. Cheese spread and crackers on the bar. Very nice. Standard Wisconsin drinks including ice cream drinks are available as well as tropical "slushy" drinks. The staff was great! Super friendly. We had curds and onion strings for appetizers. There were enough for the 5 of us. Our server, Mary was helpful with the menu and we ordered Broasted Chicken...1/2 a chicken. Very moist. Light crunchy breading. Ribs. Nice big slab of fall off (with a nudge) the bone. Nice sweet sauce. Orange Whisky Chicken. A boneless breast grilled and served in a sweet orange sauce. Shrimp. Fried. Pretty basic but good. Prim Rib. It was reported to be a bit salty but it looked good. The sides of asparagus could have been a bit bigger but they were prepared well and tasted good. One of the nicest things is the salad bar of which one trip is included with each entree. Two soups, bread, rolls, green salad mix with all the extras, pasta salad, bean salad, nice choice of dressings. It's great to have salad bars making a comeback. We ordered one piece of homemade Carrot Cake for dessert and it was fabulous! And on top of being a very clean restaurant the bathrooms were also very nice! Pub' n Prime is worth a try. We will bring the family back.

The only good part of our visit then was our waitress and the food. Due to weather we ended up here tonight. The bartender was the best part of our night. Lynn was fantastic. Friendly. Professional. We discovered she had also been our waitress five years ago too. Now to the food today. The worst prawns I have ever had. Over done, dry and tough not to mention so small. They offered to substitute a small prime rib for the prawns because it could be ready faster. A bit dry but edible.
