I am so disheartened to see so many 5 star reviews, yet we were simply ignored. We used this company a couple of years ago, and they were great! This time around, I first called the phone number of the actual installer, who gave his number to my husband. "Nick". After three days he hadn't called back so I called their office number. I was assured I'd get a call back from Nick. I was also told he's not great about returning calls. (Then why do you hand us off to him?) After a few days I didn't hear from him so I called the office again. Again, I was assured that he would call. Finally after another few days, he called in the evening. He asked me to send him photos of the blind and the barcode on top, which I did the next day when the light was better. He said this would expedite the process of repairing the blind. Now it's been a week, and I have not heard another word. I guess it's time to move on and find someone else. It's very disappointing when they did such good work before. Since they're based in Elk Grove, maybe Auburn is too far for them now. If so, they should say that instead of just hoping we go away. UPDATE: I finally got a text from Nick; he said he received my photos and thanks to the barcode he knew what parts to have when he comes. He set an appt. for 2/5. I asked what time, and he didn't respond. On 2/4 he called and said he'd arrive the next day between 11AM and 1PM. He said he didn't get a bar code photo from me so he may not have the parts. I said "I thought you said that because I sent the barcode, you knew what parts to bring". He then said he never received a barcode from me, just a photo of the blind. He then said it was $250 to come out, but it would be $350 if he couldn't fix the blind on site. I said "it might be cheaper then to just get a new blind?" He said it wouldn't. Then he said he couldn't come after all. His reason was that I "belittled" him every time we spoke. (This was the second time we spoke.) Seriously, this is no way to do business. Nick came to our house before and was AMAZING. I don't know what happened. I wish they had another tech cal us. I think somehow he's suddenly over his head. read more

Idk, installation process was cool. Figure that's when $ is getting exchanged for products and services (13k if I remember correctly). The thing I am not too happy about is the impossibility of having them come back to repair a product that supposedly is warranted for 20 years. I'm willing to even pay the service fee to have them come back. I reached out end of 2024, probably texted 3-4 times, each time getting the response that he'll reach out to set something up, and each time nothing. At this point, having lived w the pieces hanging about for over half a year, I've given up. If you're getting Hunter Douglas shades, these are your guys. They are the only company I found that sells and SERVICES Hunter Douglas. If something goes wrong they come right out and can fix most problems on site right then and there. Don't have to ship them off or be told by your installers that they don't service them if/when something goes wrong. Great Local small business. They installed Hunter Douglas shades in our house and were prompt and great attention to detail. Laid out all the options including tax rebates without being pushy at all. We were surprised thinking that since they only sold Hunter Douglas it would be much more than other companies, but they were very competitive and we went with them right away. Had new shades installed throughout our whole house including some awesome automated ones for our west facing kitchen. Great for the afternoon sun. After helping me out years ago with a broken string issue, I called them again recently to see if they could find me some replacement clips for my old shutter blinds that had been installed over 10 years ago. Got a hold of Nick who happened to be in my area at the time I called. He dropped by on the spot to grab a sample clip and ordered a few replacements that day. Overall a good experience with quick response, fair pricing and good installation. When we bought our new home we knew windows treatment will be one our most pricy expenses. We were dreading about how these new house nowadays selling for bright open room concept with so many windows. The more the windows the more holes for heat loss that need coverage for privacy. Dillon came in for the rescue and was extremely patience with us when we ask for different treatment pricing, from honeycomb, to semi-opaque, and opaque. At the end we decided to go grey on our mostly beige house (it matches our grey sofa) and use a combination of styles to suit our need. It takes only about 10 days from order is placed to available install! I think so far for this stressful new house move, this is one of the few handful things that we are happy with. Excellent! Had the most friendly & efficient customer service experience I've had in a long time. My local place in Roseville (Blind Corner) confirmed that my shade repairs were covered under the lifetime warranty BUT, there was a $95 per shade "handling fee" and it would be weeks before I got them back. Another great experience with 3 Blind Brothers. My 90 year old mother was really upset the blind covering her family room window was stuck in the down position causing the room to be dark. I left a message on their main number and received a call back from one of their techs(Nick) shortly after. I explained the problem and that mom is really upset as her world is relatively narrow focused. Nick was really understanding and prioritized getting her blind repaired to let the light back into her family room. Nick communicated well with me and followed through exactly as promised. He asked me to send pictures of the blind so he could have the necessary parts and be able to complete the repair in one visit. I think it was a relatively simple repair that most techs could have done, however it was his understanding and prompt handling of the repair that truly made a big difference to my mom.
