Very poor customer service. Steve said he would replace a sliding door track that was just over a year old but had called him several times for an install date he will not call back. This was a new home and purchased blinds for the whole house so very disappointed in their lack of follow through. The very least they could have done was return my calls or texts but nothing other then 1 call to say they would replace. No other action was taken on their part. This is the second time we needed to call on North Valley Shuttery for our window furnishing needs, and North Valley Shuttery came through again for us with flying colors. Steve helped us last spring with putting Hunter Douglas plantation shutters in our master bath area, and breakfast nook/great room area. We loved them so much that this year we put them throughout the rest of our home, except for the huge bay window over the kitchen sink, and in the formal living room area with another transom/picture window. We put remote control pleated shades in there instead, and they met our needs perfectly. But the master bedroom presented itself with yet another lighting problem: The room has a lot of glare, day and night, with two transom windows, a single french door, and single-hung windows that flank the bed. Steve recommended the Norman wood blinds. They are beautiful and very functional and do the job of light control and blackout control for every window. And did I mention they are beautiful? We chose the light gray to go with the room decor and new master bath colors. Seriously, I have increased my sleep time one and a half hours since putting these blinds in our bedroom. And an added bonus, those afternoon naps, you can completely darken the room in the middle of the day! Love it.
