I've been taking online zoom classes through 3-2-1 for about 2 years now. I started during peak COVID time, so it was a great way to train while stuck at home and a great way to connect with the industry in LA while living in the Midwest. Since then, I've done the Acting Career Showcase Program with Ms. Mae and landed an agent in LA! Not only that, but all the teachers at 3-2-1 are super responsive to any emails/audition questions I throw their way. Overall, an excellent studio, amazing staff, & a great community! read more

I really like this acting studio. The director of the school is very involved and very supportive of all the students which is hard to find. I went there because I was looking for an improv class for my 8 years old and plain improv classes are hard to find. My only complaint was that the great teachers of that improv class disappeared quickly during the course but that was because they were very good and they got work as actors. Every parent I spoke to there seemed quite content with the school. The ladies at the front desk are also very nice and helpful. My daughter is always happy to go there. A big plus also is that 3-2-1 Acting is located near Montrose a really quaint little town where it is fun to walk around while my daughter is in class. I highly recommend this acting school. They offer on camera classes as well and an agent night. Check it out ! read more

I'm updating my previous review because two years after writing it, I am still just as happy with the coaching and support available at 3-2-1 Acting. My second daughter is now taking classes as well and she is loving it! I've seen tremendous improvement in my older daughter as she has continued her training there over the years. What really stands out about 3-2-1 aside from the professional training, is how the staff truly cares about the kids. Ms. Mae and her team are always available to encourage, advise, and help in any way they can. They never forget their students and even if your child hasn't taken class in a while, they will treat him/her like returning family. I've sat in the waiting room countless times and watched older, returning students visit and be greeted with warm hugs and excited smiles. I think having so much experience in this tough industry has given Ms. Mae a heart for making sure her students always have a safe place to land. read more

We absolutely love 321 Acting! Ms. Mae, Holly, Alejandra, Ron, and her entire staff are amazing! Classes are taught by working actors like Hunter Steibel, and Bill Chott, just to name a few. Last week my daughter, was lucky enough to perform in front of 6 top talent agents at 321's Showcase. She has already received three call backs! We would like to thank Ms. Mae, Holly, and the whole staff for properly preparing us for Showcase and handling all the details, like head shots, resumes, and demo reels! What are you waiting for!? I honestly feel like 3-2-1 Acting Studios is like my second home. I've been going to this acting school for 3 years and I still learn new things. They cover the ins and outs of acting & give advice based on their encounters with the industry as they go over your acting with you. I feel so connected with them because besides just being great people, they can identify with anything we students go through. In fact, the staff & instructors are still acting, even though they already have a very credible acting resume. The owner, Ms. Mae, & her lovely staff can definitely help you get started in your acting career & possibly land an agent like I did. Thanks a lot, you guys! read more

3-2-1 Acting Studios - My recent head shot by Sylvia Moore Photography, recommended by Ms. Mae. Great recommendation! - Drama Schools Near Me - La Crescenta, California

At first I was very hesitant about taking an acting class, but after my first conversation with Alejandra I knew I found the right place. 321 is filled with extremely supportive staff and instructors that walk you through each step of the learning process, which means the world when you are doing something as vulnerable as acting. I always looked forward to my classes each Tuesday and Thursday. Each instructor I had went above and beyond to help me, along with offering constructive criticisms that not only made me a better actor but also helped me book acting jobs. On top of all these great things, they also offer the one of a kind showcase program that both prepares you for the business side of acting as well as gives you the opportunity to look your best and perform in front of agents. It was through this program that I met and signed with my agent who I am very happy with. Long story short if you're looking for a acting studio in LA look no further. Thank you so much to everyone whose apart of 321! read more

Our daughter really likes taking classes at 3-2-1 Acting Studios. The staff are extremely professional, friendly and they do a great job communicating to us as parents. With their help our daughter got an agent and now has regular auditions which she loves. Even though our daughter has booked some cool jobs as an actress she enjoys the process even more and I attribute that to the training she gets at 3-2-1. Not only do they teach good techniques for on-camera acting, they teach actors social skills that are applicable to auditioning and beyond. Extra bonus...our daughter made a great new friend from taking classes at 3-2-1. read more

I first learned about 321 Acting studios when I was looking for a summer activity for my children. Searching online brought up everything from music schools and tutors. One of the search results was for 321 Acting School, so I did some research and took a look at their website and reviews on this school. They had great reviews by many parents so I decided to leave my contact information online. Within an hour I received a call from them! This was a big plus for me. It shows me that they are focused on their clients. I made an appointment to see the school and received a free lesson for my older son to try out a class. We were greeted by a friendly receptionist and they offered my younger son an opportunity to attend a free class as well. The staff is very friendly, Mae Ross, the owner, makes a great effort to get to know all her students and parents. The classes are taught by teachers that are actively working in the entertainment industry. The class environment is positive and upbeat so children learn constantly. This school also offers showcase classes, by invitation only, where students can meet talent agents. If your child is seriously pursuing an acting career this is a fantastic way to get them in front of the right people. Classes are filled with fun activities that teach children to learn about on-camera techniques, improvisation, auditioning and, best of all, learning to express yourself through public speaking. Before going to 321 acting studio, my younger son was very soft spoken and did not carry on long conversions. He has attended classes weekly, learning to memorize lines, speak clearly and be comfortable speaking to a group of people. After attending classes every week for 6 months he can carry on meaningful discussions and often asks questions or just lets me know how his day went. So for him, he had gain much more than just participating in a summer activity but a positively altered persona that will continue to boost self-esteem throughout his lifetime. I definitely recommend a visit to 321 Acting School! read more

My daughter Rachel loved the classes right away. She says, "It's fun Mom!" Ms. Mae, the owner is caring and knowledgeable. The staff are kind and helpful as well. The school is teaches well and allows the student to enjoy at the same time and the best part they are flexible with completing their classes as fast as you want or at your own pace and schedule. 3-2-1 Acting Studios is truly the best! My daughter absolutely loves coming here and always has so much fun. Her acting skills have grown so much! She's more confident and really has found a passion for acting. The teachers there are so great and PATIENT with the kids. They are very warm and loving, but also push the kids to get the best out of them. We attended the 321 career showcase and this was a big game changer for our daughter. She received many calls and finally got signed with one of LA's top talent agencies!!! Ms. Mae and the team guided us throughout the whole process. They taught us, as parents, how to go through selecting an agent that was right for us, as well as the steps and procedures we need to take to make sure we are all set. Thank you 321!!! read more

I read a lot of yelp reviews, but I haven't felt truly compelled to write one until now. 3-2-1 Acting Studios is amazing. Ms. Mae and all of her staff are phenomenal. After doing research on several acting studios in the LA area, we chose 3-2-1 due to the results they get as well as the caring and personable staff. 3-2-1 has taught (and continues to teach) my son acting skills, industry tips (for parents and children alike), and public speaking confidence. For a shy kid that decided he wanted to become an actor, he has made tremendous progress thanks to 3-2-1's classes. And now we have signed up our other son as well! We continue to love the classes at 3-2-1 Acting Studios. My daughter absolutely loves the teachers, Melissa and Rosie. Mae is a great owner, always involved and knowledgable. Mae and her team go above and beyond. Whenever I have questions beyond the classes in regards to agents, auditions and industry information they always take the time to discuss and answer questions either by email or in person while my daughter is in her class. Our journey at 3-2-1 includes initial introduction into acting, going through the showcase and getting an agent, support as she goes on auditions and I look forward to see where the journey continues. I have really seen my daughter grow as a result of these classes, she is one confident 5 year old and has become very articulate. We plan on continuing for a long time. The acting program and Showcase programs were wonderful experiences for our son He loved going to acting class and loved Showcase. Both the acting classes and showcase experience really helped our six year old son build confidence in himself. The principal was impressed. Ms Mae and her staff are polite, genuinely warm and friendly and truly work with you and your child to bring out the best in them. I really like 321 Acting Studio. My 10 yrs. old daughter loves it there. Ms. Mae (owner) is wonderful. Her staff is also great, loving, and caring people. My daughter attend her free-trial class and immediately when the class ended she said "Mommy sign me up. I really like it here." She couldn't wait to sign up and start her classes. We love it there and would recommend going there. Ms. Mae and her staff have been so helpful and patient with me. We have been through a couple of scams not knowing until speaking with Ms. Mae and her knowledgeable staff. Whenever I had questions Ms. Mae and her staff were there to guide me through this. My daughter was called to do an audition and it sounded like it was legitimate but I asked anyways. Ms. Mae took down the information and called and did research and told me not to do it. With this being said I was truly grateful that she took the time as well as her staff to help me out. After my daughter took her first class Ms. Mae felt she was ready to do the Showcase. It was a great 6 weeks of hard work for my daughter but Ms. Mae and her wonderful staff got her ready. Right before my daughters showcase my daughter started crying due to nervousness and of course I was nervous for my daughter too. I tried to stay positive and stay strong for her and mom is a very emotional person as well and was trying not to cry also. Ms. Natasha (teacher) came out from the room, picked her up and took her away from me and spoke with her. Whatever she said to my daughter worked. My daughter went to the room where the agents were and she performed while I was waiting outside since parents are not allowed in the room. She came out with a big smile on her face. She went over to see Ms. Natasha and gave her a big hug and said "thank you." Within a week my daughter got calls from 3 out of 6 agents. We are truly grateful for all the hard-work, dedication, and time that Ms. Mae and her staff put in to make my daughter feel good and confident about herself. We would would highly recommend going to 321 Acting Studios. I also feel like a part of the 321 Acting Studio family. My daughter and I have met a lot of wonderful and nice parents. We have actually became friends with some of the parents and close to the staff as well as Ms. Mae since we see each other every week. It's really nice to have such a welcoming and smiling environment to come to. read more
