Extremely unprofessional experience with **DGOS Design & Build Construction**. I would not…read morerecommend them. I explained from the beginning that I wanted a very straightforward kitchen remodel: remove the existing cabinets and countertops and replace them with new ones, **keeping the exact same layout**. I was not moving the sink, stove, refrigerator, walls, or electrical locations. My budget was around **$40,000**, so price was not the issue. What bothered me was being quoted roughly **$3,000 for plumbing and electrical work** that I did not understand or request. When I asked why this was necessary, I was told about electrical work, circuits, drywall, etc. I repeatedly explained that I wasn't asking for those changes and simply wanted to understand what I was paying for. Instead of clearly explaining and justifying the charge, the contractor became defensive and told me that customers need to trust them and shouldn't question their work. He then said we were "not a good fit" and mentioned that their minimum kitchen project is around $25,000. I was completely willing to spend $35,000-$40,000 on my kitchen. I would happily pay thousands more for better cabinets, better countertops, or better workmanship. What I will NOT do is write a blank check for work I don't understand simply because a contractor tells me to trust them. **Trust is earned through transparency.** If I'm spending tens of thousands of dollars, I have every right to ask what I'm paying for and why it's necessary. At that point, I asked him to leave my home. Based on my experience, if you expect a contractor to clearly explain the scope of work and justify significant charges when you ask questions, I would look elsewhere.

Derek took his time in listening to what my Wife and I were looking for and made the dream into a reality. He even went shopping with her to make sure we had a say in the look and materials being chosen. He was on site most mornings making sure the crew knew what needed to be done. I have heard horror stories in GC's disappearing after the project starts, but it was the opposite with Derek. Pricing was also upfront so there were no surprises. His team were punctual and very professional and really took their time to get it right. They didn't guess on what we wanted and included us in all relevant conversations and decisions. We are more than happy with the result and friends and family have joined us in being blown away by the result. What a difference! Thanks DGOC, you will definitely be hearing from us again!

I also need to mention that I am extremely nitpicky and highly detailed, but Dror never once got annoyed with my texts or calls. This is an overdue review, but i wanted to wait at least 6 months to write out a full review!…read more It was my first time renovating anything. I wanted to redo the inside of my entire house (yes, EVERY inch) and didn't know who to work with. I was given quotes that were 3-4x my budget and had a contractor pull out of the project 2 weeks before my scheduled demolition. I got super discouraged until i found Frame Build & Design. They were able to work with what I had and made my experience very enjoyable. They provided me a rendering of what the inside of my house would theoretically look like, and I can confidently say that it looks pretty darn close to the pictures! I'm so pleased with how all my cabinets & fixtures turned out. I appreciate Idan for answering all my questions and dealing with my complaints. He was patient with me and would send a guy over to fix or add things that I wanted (like outlets on the ceiling for my speakers, patching holes, etc). He went above and beyond to get permits for renovating, be there for city inspections, and keeping me posted on progress. I will say however that if you are planning to hire this team, you will need to be hands on. This means being involved in EVERY decision! I had to pick out all my materials on my own to match the rendering provided in the beginning. FB&D provided some locations I could check out, but it required a lot of research on my end. It felt overwhelming as a first time home owner, but this is pretty normal from what I understand. FB&D had an interior designer on this project and she was a HUGE help in decision making. There's no perfect contractor. Yes there were some communication issues and yes there were some imperfections. Yes it took 2x my timeline. What renovation doesn't? But ultimately the FB&D team were very accommodating with my feedback and gave me my DREAM home. And I can say 7 months into living here, everything is still holding up great and nothing has broken! I highly recommend hiring them for your next project! They did a great job. I ultimately went over budget but that's totally expected (and totally on me)! Thank you Frame Build & Design!

He asked me very detailed questions that I hadn't thought about yet. I knew that he was detail-oriented and that he was already invested in my project even though I hadn't given him the go-ahead. He took care of all the back and forth so that my focus could be on other aspects of the project. I had walls knocked down, a window put in, and new walls built. I added some aesthetic upgrades, which he took care of quickly. Daniel always responded quickly anytime I reached out to him. I was never stressed about the project, and he made sure to stop by regularly to look at the work that was done. He even noticed things that I hadn't and made sure the crew came back to correct them. Daniel is the lead that you want handling your project. I highly recommend him and his team and would use him again.

Above all, Izabella is always consistently calm and never seems to be fazed/stressed about anything! Finally the Ugly: I did not know I have to find separate contractors for awnings, solar panels and the driveway. I'm a woman with zero experience when it comes to home remodels. So when my 72-year-old mom needed…read moreher guest bathroom remodeled in her Mission Viejo home, I did a ton of research and interviewed several licensed contractors that were recommended by friends and neighbors. Right off the bat, my mom and I felt the most comfortable with Amin (pronounced "Ah-mean") of Persi Homes. From the thorough, no-pressure in-home consult to the detailed estimate and contract he sent afterwards, Amin's expertise, warm personality, and responsiveness to our questions gave us the reassurance we needed to take the plunge and get started with our first remodel. My mom's house is around 30 years old. The tub/shower combo was original and started peeling in spots. The towel bar, vanity light, and other items were also original and needed to be replaced. My mom ended up doing a "full gut" and had Persi Homes replace everything, including the toilet, vanity and countertop, sink and faucet, vent fan, floor, etc. Amin answered all our questions and provided helpful suggestions during every phase of the project. As the Project Manager, he showed up several times a week to check the progress of the work, and he remained extremely friendly and responsive from start to finish. We always knew who was coming to the house on what day and what the next phase of the project was. From the demo guys to the tile guys and everyone in between, all the Persi Homes employees and subcontractors were polite, showed up on time, and worked extremely hard. They even cleaned up after themselves every day. Each City Inspection passed with flying colors, and Amin made sure my mom and I were 100% happy with every aspect of her bath remodel. Before this project, I was hesitant to undergo any remodels, especially after hearing horror stories of sketchy contractors from coworkers and friends over the years. But the Persi Homes crew was extremely professional, reliable, and easy to talk to. My mom is now the proud owner of a beautifully remodeled guest bathroom where the superior craftsmanship speaks for itself. From the new acrylic soaking tub and porcelain tiled shower combo, to her stunning quartz top vanity with soft-close drawers and perfectly cut tile flooring, her guest bathroom is not only more functional with more storage, but luxurious. It looks like something you'd see in a magazine. This smaller guest bathroom remodel was a "test project" to take Persi Homes for a test drive before my mom gets other remodel projects done. As a single gal who's just trying to help out her mom, Persi Homes was incredible to work with! We're so lucky to have found this company. My mom and I will definitely be using them again.
