Definitely a lot of Pros and Cons for the new place. For the pros, it is so much cleaner!!! Let's be honest, before the floor and bathrooms were disgusting. The updated establishment is so much nicer and refreshing. The back area is also much improved and allows for more seating. Finally a lot of the random old decor is gone. Now for the cons. The food and drinks just aren't the same :( and to be honest, that's the main reason for coming here. Came on Taco Tuesday and sampled each. Chicken, carnitas and ground beef tacos. They are small street style tacos. Emphasize small because I inhaled them. I really miss the old tacos that happened to be more filling and cheaper. The meat now is also bland with little flavor. My wife had the PC's Cobb Salad which came out at first missing chicken. That was quickly remedied but was also not as filling as prior. Finally the service is okay. Still seems as if they are getting the hang of things but until they do this place will struggle. Let's be honest, Simi Valley residents have a certain expectation that I think this place is missing. Alcohol prices have drastically increased. My bill also came out inaccurate so had to rectify. Ps. It is no longer a Dallas Cowboys bar. It's a Raiders bar now :( We no longer have our hang out... Corri was nice overall and I wish her the best here. Hope my next visit will be better.

Change bands and entertainment out at last minute so if your planning to go to an even call before because it probably changed. Management is a joke and their rules are not geared towards the customer. Have a special request for a drink or way its served or different glass good luck with that. Its clear why all the old patrons moved on to better bars. No longer has a cheers feeling where everyone knows your name.

The burger was juicy, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. The house fries were hands down the best fries I've had in a very long time, including their ranch!!!!! Absolutely DELICIOUS! On top of that, the prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality of the food. I'll definitely be coming back and bringing my friends and family with me. Well it's a very local bar in Simi Valley that only offers beer and wine for alcohol drinks. Do not expect to get a fancy cocktail here! They do have a wide selection that includes seltzers and cider. And on Thursday it's thirsty Thursday meaning you can score deals on select drinks! Like 2.50 for select beers. This was truly one of the best pieces of meat I've had in a long time. Most people would not expect this from a "dive" bar, but I believe they have a history as a steakhouse and it shows. The staff was super friendly and very welcoming to strangers. I think there was only 2 people working in the bar and dining areas but they took care of everyone. Feels like a definite dive bar with lots of locals, but nobody has any kind of attitude and you will not feel unwelcome here. They don't mind at all. On certain nights, they also serve some seriously high-end BBQ that's definitely worth checking out. The vibe is calm, cool and just a little speakeasy-ish. It's the kind of place where you can actually relax and have a conversation without screaming across the table. They also have a really fun trivia night, and the staff has always been attentive, friendly and completely chill. Bring a friend. Bring a group. Have some food and a couple of drinks. Tables were pretty close to each other but I don't think this was harmful to the experience at all just a thought. They had Christmas decorations still up. Food: We ordered the Calamari Fritti, the calamari was underseasoned but well fried and the shrimp that came with it was well seasoned but only came with 4 pieces. The pesto aioli that came with it was very tasty. Alfredo sauce in the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo was strong and its high fat content added a lot of body to it, very garlicky and American, but be warned it was very salty! The pasta was pretty overcooked. The Chicken Parmesan was well seasoned and quite a large portion, we chose to sub the mashed potatoes it comes with for a side of spaghetti (highly recommend for $4 extra). The spaghetti was a little undercooked but luckily the heat of the dish and rest of the food allowed it to get a little better as we ate. Service: We had called in and made a reservation ahead of time to make sure we could get a table. We got to the restaurant 10 minutes before our reservation and the host had somehow already crossed out my name, although that happened, they still had a table ready for us and we were seated within about a minute. The overall vibe that we got from our server was a little odd. She checked on us sporadically and it just felt that we were getting treated a little differently than others. With that being said, the bus boy was extremely professional and helpful. He brought out our food in a clean and calm manner. He was easier to get a hold of compared to our server and it felt that he was always willing and wanting to help.
