It was empty when I got there, save for the attendant at the window. I just pulled up, swiped my gas card, and filled up. The beautiful thing about getting gas in the east coast is how inexpensive it is compared to gas prices in California. I can't really speak bad of this place, and I spent a very short time here. What I call a sib is called by many different terms depending on what part of the country you are in. Wawa got their start in Pennsylvania somewhere by Philadelphia and over there, people call them hoagies. The story that I have always heard is that the name hoagie xomes from the Hoagland submarine base and the employees loved this particular sandwich so much that people started calling them hoagies. Anyway, for a gas station, Wawa has some pretty stellar subs (or if you prefer, hoagies). The gas is competitively priced and Wawa is an overall positive experience. They were going to charge $500 just for the part and another $200+ to install, i went to a dealership and the total for the part and installation was $540. They said the air filters (that had been replaced four days earlier) needed to be replaced, the spark plugs all needed to be replaced, and a tail light needed to be replaced. None of those things needed to be done. The one thing I can say positively is that they were not going to charge an insane amount for the battery if I had them replace that. They were however going to charge $75 for the test and replace of it. Advance Auto Parts does that free.

You can get fried chicken boxes, fried chicken sandwiches/subs, fried chicken breakfast items, etc. They also do a good job with deli meat sandwiches and egg breakfast sandwiches. Otherwise it's a pretty standard convenience store with the usual service station grab and go items. They have a good selection of chips and drinks. This particular location is very spacious and has everything you could expect on the shelves. As most Royal Farms in the area, it also has Krispy Kreme donuts that are stocked daily. The coffee is pretty good for a service station, and they have plenty of fountain drinks and iced drinks as well.

This place was scary (and I grew up in South Central LA). So I proceeded to go to the Royal Farms half a mile away on Roland Avenue....who had no issue taking cards and was also serving food. Speaking of which, the whole reason I went into Royal Farms to begin with is because the new Crunchy Chicken Croissant is fire and I was craving one. Luckily I was able to get one at the second location and they also had the DIY milkshake machine there too, which the other location didn't have. Needless to say they need to fire the employees working late night at this location. I will be going to the Roland Ave Royal Farms from now on....unless I need gas. It's worth mentioning that this isn't the first time I've seen a handwritten sign that says "cash only" at this location when there is only one or two employees working. A man came up to me, on a heavily rainy day, asking for a gas can full of gas, claiming his car ran out of gas on North Avenue. I do not carry a gas can in my car, so he then begged for any container to fill with gas for him. I told him that I do not carry containers in my vehicle, and he should purchase his own container and gasoline. He then begged me for cash, which I do not give out. When I questioned him about the exact location of his allegedly out of gas vehicle, to ensure that he was telling the truth, he became very vague and ran off. I drove several blocks up and down North Avenue, and noticed not a single stalled car. Who begs for gasoline?
