This worked out well for me as I had to get to work, so I came back the next day to pay. He showed me the defective parts and explained everything in detail. Just had my first service appointment with this garage and will 100% be back as a return customer!…read moreIf you live near the park, the location (for both the garage and the attached gas station) is phenomenal. They do very good business so they're frequently booked up-- make an appointment if possible, they take preference over walk-ins. I called on a Wednesday morning to see when I could get in, and the earliest appointment they had was Friday. I needed an oil change, my tires inspected, and for them to check on an issue with my AC. You fill out a detailed service form inside the Shell station and the cashier, who is also a garage employee, takes care of it from there. When the mechanic called to give me his report, he followed my instructions to proceed with the oil change but get my permission for any other work needed. He told me my tires were in good condition (and didn't try to upsell me to make a buck). With the roads in Bmore being what they are, it would have been really easy to try that card (which some untrustworthy mechanics do more so with women), but this guy was honest with me and I respect that. He also said that my AC issue wasn't a problem that required any work and might just come and go, though harmless-- so again, saving me cash. The whole process was very efficient and reasonable priced, and the staff was friendly. I definitely recommend!

I said "hi" to get her to acknowledge me - no response. Once she was done stocking, she went behind the counter and stared at me without a word until I eventually told her that I was here to pick up my vehicle. Other than that, the service of the vehicle itself was fine and completed in a timely manner. I was updated by the mechanic throughout the way. As other reviewers mentioned, if you want to avoid high labor costs, I recommend checking out the local small business down the road.

And because of this, the deli counter staff here are experienced pros! For those who still don't know, Wawa's sandwiches are incredibly consistent and a good value. They're not mind-blowingly good, but with a few choice modifications on their easy touch-screen ordering menu, it's not hard to beat the pants off of a Subway sandwich. The least impressive component of Wawa's sandwiches is the bread, which can be improved by choosing to have it toasted. Being able to access a decent deli counter 24hrs a day is a huge plus - and no wonder why Wawas like this one are a crowd favorite in the mid-Atlantic!

Obviously I am comparing this to other service stations, not sit down restaurants, but you can't beat Royal Farms for grab and go food. The fried chicken is amazing in all forms. You can get fried chicken boxes, fried chicken sandwiches/subs, fried chicken breakfast items, etc. They also do a good job with deli meat sandwiches and egg breakfast sandwiches. Otherwise it's a pretty standard convenience store with the usual service station grab and go items. They have a good selection of chips and drinks. This particular location is very spacious and has everything you could expect on the shelves. As most Royal Farms in the area, it also has Krispy Kreme donuts that are stocked daily. The coffee is pretty good for a service station, and they have plenty of fountain drinks and iced drinks as well.
