I've never paid over $12 for an overstuffed meal with a drink. Most importantly everything is made fresh, this is not fast food. Don't go here if you can't afford to wait a while for your food. Pro tip: please check their facebook page for updated hours, contact information, and menu of the day. I stopped by to place a carry out order. The team was so welcoming and friendly. That perfect sincere hospitality you don't see too much anymore. The space is absolutely adorable and comfortable. When my order was ready, I was handed a bag that easily weighed five pounds! I went with the blackberry fried chicken. This is like nothing I've ever had. The chicken was super crispy like Korean fried chicken and just covered in a sweet sticky blackberry sauce. The chicken was well seasoned and juicy. Every single bite was perfect. I went with the macaroni and cheese and greens for my sides. Both came served in generous portions of deliciousness. The greens might be a little spicy if you don't like heat. My order came with two cornbread muffins. The meal was a very generous and a filling one. I also picked a slice of peach cobbler cheesecake from the dessert case. While tasty, I would have preferred one or the other. Both cheesecake and cobbler in one dessert was just a little too much for me. But delicious nonetheless. I can see why this spot comes with such great accolades for food service and hospitality.

Their rotating special was chimichurri steak which my mom got the quesadillas and so got the tacos. Both were wonderful! I also got a shrimp taco and the grilled fish taco. I don't remember all the different tacos our other guests got but the gator one was great, and the Nashville hot chicken ones were so good. Staff was very friendly and helpful, we were greeted by who I'm assuming was either management or the owner when we walked in and he gave us a rundown of how their menu worked. They have a great salsa bar as well. Best meal of our trip and if we are ever in the area again we will absolutely be returning!

Anyway, Papa John's has been my favorite pizza since I was a kid and still is my "go-to" pizza franchise wherever I move. I typically order online because I like racking up on papa rewards but this time I decided to give them a call because I had a complicated order. We decided to do a large pizza with half with toppings my husband likes and the other half with mine. The girl on the phone didn't over complicate things like I was hoping she wouldn't. She also told me that the pizza would be delivered in about a hour but instead we got a knock on the door about 30 minutes after I got off the phone. This was Sunday during lunch so I was pretty surprised how quick the delivery was! I've ordered from this establishment many times and haven't had an issue yet. Waiting a while for food on a busy night is totally understandable and that shouldn't be the reason to give a place a 1 or 2 star. Thanks for being reliable Papa Johns!

Thank you very much, I was super relieved and grateful for your executive decision in my request.

Cheese stuck to the bottom of pieces when you went to go grab a slice. It was a little rough. My husband immediately notified them that one of our pizzas was mangled through a review. Within minutes of the pizza being handed to us and probably hardly a minute of Garrett submitting the review, we were called. They confirmed which pizza and without skipping a beat told us another was being made. I accepted and hung up. I told Garrett, he literally said, "I only did that to let them know to be more careful!" I clarified how bad the pizza was(I hadn't gotten up to look yet), and Garrett conformed we could still eat the pizza; it would just be a little different because we'd lose cheese on parts. I immediately called back because we don't like to waste food, and told them not to worry about another pizza. They still gave us credit for another pizza for next time! Let me tell you- the speed on response, the "want to make it right" attitude, and the still wanting to make it right at some point gesture was awesome! I was really impressed with their willingness to make our pizza right! Other than this one pizza today and the hiccup with the app not working right for a few months, we always have a great experience with this location. They are timely with what they expect their delivery to be, they are always courteous, and we just overall enjoy the interactions with this establishment.
