At the most miserable time of my life I was forced to sell my home and had to store what I could until arrangements for my new living situation was settled....I share this to let you know this place gave so much help and worked with me to help me understand what I needed and helped me understand everything I needed to know about storing! Horrible business! Can't be bothered to keep the office hours they advertise. Frequently out of office when we've been trying to just pay our bill. Also, if you're looking for climate controlled storage, although they have it, it is extremely difficult to access. Down a long narrow hallway not accessible by vehicle. The attendant appears to prefer not to be bothered to help her customers. the price per unit is higher than most storage facilities in the area. I chose to use this facility because of convenience of location. After a year of using this facility while on vacation I realized that I had failed to make a payment. I called my daughter while I was still on vacation to make the payment. The attendant told my daughter that they were in the process of putting my stuff up for auction. I had received no notification of this. When I got home about 10 days later I had a registered letter from the storage facility that said that they tried to contact me by phone and mail. THERE WERE NO MESSAGES LEFT ON MY ANSWERING MACHINE NOR ANY INDICATIONS OF A CALL ON MY CALLER ID. The earliest letter I received was about two weeks prior to the registered letter. The treatment I received was too harsh. read more

From the start, I was beyond impressed with the management and owners at the 27th AVE Self Storage. They got me set up over the phone and through e-mail and when I arrived to the area, my unit was ready. Every interaction I had with the management over the past few months was fantastic. The management here has been nothing but wonderful. Over the past year or so my husband and I were both lay ed off from our job's, needless to say things got hard!! I have missed payments a few times going in to the following month . I managed to get it paid in the second month accept for this one time. That's when Kylee the manager came through for me She talked to the owner on by behalf and bought me some time, she didn't have to do that, I am for ever grateful. I have used 27th Ave. Self Storage for a year this month and I have loved it! I found the attendant in the front office to be very personable and helpful as well as extremely compassionate the month that I was late with my payment! They conveniently pull it from my account for me now which I really appreciate! I am leaving this month as I no longer have the need for a storage unit, but if I ever need one again I will DEFINITELY be back to 27th Avenue Storage! read more
